I have been coming to this location for many years and have always had great service. The team of techs I encountered today were the most rude and inconsiderate I have encountered for a long time. When checking my tire pressure, they messed up two of the valve stems and could not get them fixed. I had to take my truck to a tire center and spend extra money for replacement. In addition, a woman was waiting in the lot for at least 10-15 minutes. When she came inside to inquire why she hadn't been allowed to bring her car in, she was rudely told that it was because she hadn't pulled up far enough. No one went to greet her or let her know. She explained that she didn't know and wondered why the guys didn't greet her and let her know. The technician then escape very irate and started yelling at the poor woman. Eventually he even threatened to call the police if she didn't leave. This woman was respectful and did absolutely nothing wrong. It's a real shame. This business lost 2 customers today in a span of 5 minutes. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They don't discuss what oil is going to be put in your vehicle. I pull up, said I use synthetic. No response. Oils done quickly, but you get what they want to give will get told "for future reference we don't have synthetic, only synthetic blend- you should have spoken louder". $60.65 for service that was sub par at best. read more

Apple Lube Center - The set up... 3 bays and no line on a Monday morning. - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Springfield, Illinois

First time using them. Took my daughter's car in for an oil change and windshield wiper replace. Told the guy I wanted an oil change and all fluids checked and topped off. Of course I want all fluids checked and topped off - it's my daughter's car, they knew it, daughter with me, nothing confusing there. He was pleasant, acknowledged my request, told him we'd leave it and be back in a couple hours. Easy peasy. Oops. Never took my name, contact info or anything. So it hit me a few miles down the road so I called them and said if you find something or need to tell me something I should give you my number. He took it down over the phone. Picked up the car. Total bill about $56. Fine. I never asked the price of the oil change, was never told about various levels of service. I can see on their wall at the pay counter there are three levels of service, $34 ish, $38ish and $45ish. I had no clue. I see the $34ish does not include checking any fluids or even tire pressure. What quick lube doesn't at least do those basics even with their most basic service? Answer? Apple Lube. So I asked which service they did. Confirmed. They did the $34ish service. So even though I specifically asked for all fluids to be checked and topped off they did the service that doesn't include that. Since they don't know how to run a business here's the long and short of what SHOULD have happened. When I came in stating what I wanted done he should have told me "No problem, sir we have three levels of service we offer. Here's what you get with each. Which one would you like?" Had I known the most expensive included a vacuum etc? Hell I'd have chosen that. Was never offered it - had no clue - first and last time customer. Also what SHOULD have happened? Take my contact info down before I leave. I'm positive there are less expensive quick lubes around that automatically top things off and check tire pressure as SOP. I had never looked for one before but if I need one again it won't be Apple Lube. read more

Ran by on my lunch to see if I could get in real quick for an oil change. Staff couldn't have been friendlier, was in and out in 15 minutes. Perfect timing, exactly what I needed. Would most certainly return again. read more
