I wouldn't have known anything going on with my truck had I not called at least every other day. Got the told that classic, "we don't have any loaners just rentals." Then was told that I couldn't get a rental until the repairs were approved by ford which would take at least a week. After a phone call to the service manager I was told I could get my own rental and be reimbursed for it. However on short notice on a friday I couldn't secure a rental. After about 2 weeks of their service department cosplaying mechanics they suddenly needed the rental back and magically they had loaners to give out. it's been a month to this day without my truck. Jobs that should take 2 hours take 8, no help from the guys upfront that are supposed to give you info on your trucks repairs and just constant lies are abundant here. I'm supposed to get my truck back today but I'm guessing it's still broke as I've already picked it up once and it had an active check engine light back on before I left the parking lot. Back into the shop it goes and back to "your guess is as good as mine" mentality when it comes to fixing cars. Not too mention salesman giving out fake numbers on trade ins to get you in the door and then dropping the fee and bullshit warranty hammer on you right before they ask for your signature. This place is a joke. I'm so over dealerships that if o have another issue with my truck that I'd rather pay out of pocket than deal with these idiots again.

But like the car dealers the rate is nearly $150 for less than 10 minutes of work. No thinking involved just plug in a machine type in model and make of car wait for machine to download and transfer data to the fob. You could download a mp3 in nearly the same amount of time. So, 1 star for actually having a walk in facility and the 1/2 star for having the ability to program key fobs. 1/2 star for only person in Springfield that will even attempt to program it besides one other mobile key lock out companies.

Our Dodge Ram 1500 truck blew a tire on I-72. AAA towed our vehicle to Discount Tire. There were…read moremany customers, but we were helped in a decent amount of time. Jacob found a reasonably priced tire for us and it was ready right before closing. As we started to get into the vehicle, Jacob and another tech ran from the store and got our attention. They had noticed that something was wrong when the tire was back on the ground. It was crooked. We received some suggestions for a repair shop as well as cold water. We made arrangements for a Lyft driver and hotel. We returned the next morning and the tow truck driver was able to coordinate with Discount Tire employees to reload our vehicle. Shoutout to Assistant Manager Jacob and the technician who kept us safe and helped locate repair shop options.

I was on time maybe a little early and the gal that was behind the counter said that all her techs were out to lunch so I continued to wait until one came back and he took care of me right away. Took it for a little spin to find out what was wrong with it and then brought it back. There was one other customer came by so I told him I would have to think about it because it was gonna cost a little over $1000 to get whatever part they had to send away for and I had to be certain this is what I wanted because he didn't wanna have to keep it there if I wasn't going to come and get it installed. After he was done with me, he went to wait on the other customer and as I was leaving, I thought how the heck am I gonna get out because she was on the other side of me and she stood in front of the door, so it was a very tight Exit/entrance and a little bit dangerous but I made it however I wouldn't ever wanna do that again. No one ever did come back like the techs from lunch to work on cars. I didn't see anyone there except the one guy that came back from lunch and then the one guy that was already there and that's all that was there for the remaining time that I was there. I didn't know what to do because I thought that was a bit much so I went ahead and told them I would have to think about it. The older guy gave me a card and said he needed $169 or something like that for alignment of the tires. I'm not sure what that is, but it was better than the thousand dollars for whatever they were gonna do just so I could have my power steering back which might have put everything else back into place so the control panel is still off. And this was my second estimate/opinion. I don't know, but I thought you know I would come back if I could save up some money and he said I need to come back right away because something was just spinning around many times per day just to make my car work. I can't see that happening. I barely go anywhere and when I do, it drives fine, but I am appreciative of the alignment of the tires or the wheels that he did because I can feel it and it feels better. However, if I'm gonna pay over $1000 for a part that I would have to be sent to him in order for him to do the work, I thought I would just rather buy a new car since he told me it was old. It's a 2017 but the old guy said it's old so cars break down more easily because they're making them less than they used to.

Since the problem continued, I took it to Landmark Chrysler. They got me in quickly, diagnosed the issue properly, and found that the battery was actually the problem. They also explained that my Jeep doesn't even have a separate auxiliary battery, which gave me much more confidence in their diagnosis. The service department was professional, efficient, and had me back on the road the same day. While no one enjoys replacing a battery, I appreciated that they had the proper equipment and expertise to accurately diagnose the issue. He made a Hard credit check that lowered my credit score by 4 points. Then, tried to get me into a preditory loan. It would have had me paying over $32,000 on financing under $17,000. This was after I had already told the sales person, Dave McMeen, that I was going through my home bank for financing. He wasted most of my shopping time and pushed through a hard check on my credit that was unnecessary. I will not got back there again.

There was only nine holding on the shield. They also for some reason, they decided to spill oil all over the top of my engine very disappointed with this service.
