Last Saturday (5/4/2019) went to Apple store in Nashua. One Sales guy named Harish approached me when I entered the store. I told him that I am switching from Android to iOS & looking for the latest model. He showed me, but he did not explain properly what is the new feature in iPhone xs as compared to previous models iPhone 8plus. He thought that we are not going to buy a phone and do time pass. He not even greeted or asked for any other questions. As a new user, I was expecting some kind of help. he just showed me the payment plans and left. I have explored all by myself and asked another sales person's help. This guy said he is the 'traffic router' he will ask someone to help. Finally, I have purchased an unlocked phone with full payment. The sales rep should help customers. Nashua Apple store management should teach how to behave or respond or help customers. read more

Each time I have been in this location to ask questions about new products or to find out more about current one, the folks here have been very helpful. Not only are they able to answer all my questions, but most importantly, they aren't snotty about it or elitist sounding. It was at this location I bought my phone and the sales person who helped me was fantastic. A real firecracker. Though I've forgotten her name, I would most certainly look for her when in need of help again. She was very handy in predicting what my previous service provider would do when switching plans and was able to tell me exactly how to handle it. Very knowledgeable. Also, when offering to apply the screen guard to the face of the phone and messed up, she quickly apologized and gave me a replacement. Will go back. read more

We have now become denizens of Apple products. All ye faithful, bow to the altar of Apple! The store was quite busy when I arrived. My goal: to inquire about a repair to a iPod Touch and to purchase an iMac computer. The folks at the Genius bar was efficient and straight forward in their help. I then got into the queue to speak with a sales rep to purchase a computer. Don't know what happened, but i waited an inordinate amount of time. Regardless, I knew what I wanted and the young lady that assisted me did so quickly and with a smile. All of my questions were answered...if she couldn't, she found someone that could. I must say while I like Apple's products going to an Apple store is a dreadful experience. I own 6 Apple devices, that said none of them where bought at this Apple store. The few times I have been here I am always faced with long lines at the register. I'll be standing in line for 20minutes, While the girl at the register proceeds to explain all the functions of a certain virus software and walks the customer ahead of me through it all. The next girl at the other register is researching information about a printer. Is this really necessary at the register? The people who have a clue just want to leave the smelly Apple store. This store has plenty of employees, but only have two open registers. There are a whole hoard of blue shirts in the back none of them can cash out people who have money in hand ready to pay for their merchandise. The store's selection is limited to idevices and desktops + accessories. Very little software, little to know computer parts that I found. I will say that the employees seem happy, and go out of their way to interact with customers which is great. I however would prefer not to stand in line any longer than I have to in a store that smells like the inside of a Rubbermaid tote. Judging by the reviews on here i'm not alone. This store doesn't deserve 1star. As long as our long line complaints fall on def's ear everytime it gets the 1. Otherwise just another overpriced smelly Applestore. read more

I am usually very happy with the experience you get buying Apple products in their stores, but something is definitely wrong with this one. It is not the first time I have a problem there, and I will never come back. At least some of the personnel need more training because they don't know their own procedures and they make mistakes and waste your time, and the managers are rude and just don't care about complains. They are not representing well what an Apple Store should be which is all about customer experience. Everyone makes mistakes, that is ok, but some people there are just rude. The good thing is there are plenty of other good Apple Stores nearby, so the solution is easy. read more

I've purchased hardware and software, gotten support, and taken classes at this store. The staff is always helpful and friendly. When you arrive, you're greeted as you walk in. If you want to buy something, ask questions, or get support, all you need to do is tell the person who greets you and they'll set you up with someone to help you. If you want to just look around, they're cool with that, too. If you see a long line outside, that's going to be people waiting to buy some new item that's just come out. There were long lines for the iPad and recently for the iPhone 4S. If you're looking for the cool new item, you need to get in the line. If you're not looking for that item, just tell the greeter and skip the line. There are usually NO cash registers in the store. Each salesperson has their own "register" in their pocket. It's a modified iPod Touch that can scan credit cards. The salesperson takes care of the whole checkout process as they're standing there with you. They change the layout of the store regularly and currently they have a table with a couple of Macs that may be able to function like cash registers, but I find it far easier to just deal with one of their salespeople on the floor. Usually they have what I'm looking for in the store, but sometimes they have to order it. The process is painless and the items ship and arrive reasonably quickly. Support at the Genius Bar has been quick and efficient for me. They replaced a squeaky MacBook fan while I waited and they've always been quick and accurate with answers to any questions I've asked them. The One-To-One training classes are outstanding. This place sucks... Legit longest wait times ever and staff standing around doing nothing. Waited in line to get a Iphone and got help after one hour because they assigned more priority to other customers. Their excuse was not enough staff when two idiots were standing in front of the entrance helping out no one with reservations being so called busy... Not a good experience to get my phone fixed. Nobody greeted me at the door and no one to go to even I had a appointment. After waiting in line in order to talk to someone, the appointment time has passed and we lost the appointment. That took us extra 40 minutes. The Apple Care insurance is an other disaster. This is a tough review to write. I am not sure if I should be annoyed with Apple or the Apple Store. We are a family full of Apple products. They sell it, we have bought it... and more than one. We are loyal. Here is my gripes about the store. You can't walk 2 feet in the store without being stopped and babysat. You need to be told where to stand, where to walk, and who will be helping you. I wanted to buy a computer.. i need to wait for the right person... I want to buy a cord, i need to be escorted to where they sell the cord i want (back left on the wall... i know where they are!!) they choose the cord and hand it to me then tell me if i have the app (which I do) I could walk in and just pick it up and pay for it on my own without help! RIGHT Like i could ever ever make it to the cords without being stopped and escorted. I love the people who work here. They truly do want to help and they have been unbelievably helpful throughout the years. They are always smiling and rarely can they not answer a question I ask. The staff are lovely. So this whole battery thing is what made me write the review today. Apple admits they slow down the phones with updates... i get it, I understand how lithium works. No battery lasts forever and I know first hand if they didn't slow your phone down your phone would crash often. I decided to take advantage and buy a new battery since the cost is only $29.99 A great deal. I tell a woman at work about it and she decides to take her daughter's phone (same as mine 6plus) to another Apple store on the same day to get the same thing. She takes her daughter.. walks in.. tells them what she wants, drops off the phone and comes back in a couple of hours, pays and is off. I walk in to this store.. They test my phone.. yup battery is depleted, they are on back order I will need to wait 6 weeks to get the battery in. I tell them fine. They tell me I will get an email. 6 weeks pass.. no email. Since I have no faith in any store I stop in and ask "is my battery in or is there an update?" I am told "it is here!!!" however now i need another appointment to have them put it in. I choose a time for the next day. I come in and they again look it all up.. yup all set, drop off your phone and come back in 2 hours. I go back in 2 hours. They were wrong, that was someone else's battery. I will need to wait for an email. SERIOUSLY!!! they tell me they will not charge me for the battery. I go home annoyed (Sunday). Tuesday i get an email. Your battery is in you should call this number to make an appointment. I call the number, the recording direct me to the website to make an appointment. I make the appointment and go back in 2 days. I walk in... get 2 feet in the store and am stopped... "do you have an appointment" yes i tell her, to have my battery replaced. She tells me there is no record that there is a battery for me. I explain nicely and calmly that my battery better be here because I am going to snap if it isn't. She goes in the back and comes out 10 minutes later (2 other people have now asked if I need help) my battery IS there. I will have to drop my phone off for 2 hours. I come back and it is finally done, phone works great. They ask for $29.99 I tell the young man to check the records because I believe that should have been waived... he digs through it and tells me I am all set with a lovely smile. My two month ordeal was reduced to $29.99 So 2 people, same issue, same product, same day, different stores, VERY different results. Was it Apple or the Apple Store? not sure read more

The Apple Store is great regardless of the location. I find this particular store to have a bunch of team members who work very well with each other communicating via ear pieces and text with other team members, If they need to get you a device, another employee magically appears with it moments later. Another FYI, if you need a restroom it is located in the front right side of the store behind the large pull door. Was having a problem with my phone, already went through phone support. Made an appointment @ the Genius Bar here. Waited about 15 minutes. They were able to diagnose a hardware problem & replaced my phone on the spot... YAY! I do have AppleCare. The gentleman who helped me was friendly & knowledgeable. After reading many negative reviews - I wasn't expecting a pleasant experience but I was wrong. I'd definitely come back to this location if I needed to. read more

I purchased AirPod pros at the Apple Store on Boylston St. in Boston in early 2021. I have been having static issues for a while now and decided to have them checked out. I made an appointment and arrived a few minutes early to the store in Nashua. After about 30 seconds I was approached by an employee who immediately apologized for my wait (only a 30 second wait). She helped me and scanned my QR code for my appointment then asked about my AirPods. She knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned the static and guided me over to the Genius Bar where another employee was ready to help me. This employee (I wish I remembered her name) also knew exactly what I was talking about and even knew about an extended warranty that happened due to this issue. She told me she'd have my AirPods tested and then would get back to me. I waited for a few minutes and then she came back told me that both my AirPods failed the sound test and therefore I'd be getting a free replacement due to the manufacturing issue. No charge. Apple continues to set a high standard of quality and handles these situations well. Awesome employees and efficient warranty programs. read more

They said I would need to make an appointment ( totally understood )When I came back for my appointment , they did not believe I had one ? Then they told me it was another week Away? This was the only reason i had to come to the mall ( 45 min drive) . Then I was told to call Apple support and they can help me after waiting on the phone for 45 minutes or so ???!!! Express pickup is not. I arrived at my 3:15 to 3:30 window at 3:15. The two people in front of me were scheduled for 3:30 but whatever. You've placed and prepaid for your order, how long should it take to show identification and have them retrieve your items? Turns out 44 minutes in line later I finally get to the front of the line. The gentleman who helped me was very polite and efficient but I was surprised that my order was not already in a bag but had to be gathered together by someone else. I couldn't afford a new one immediately, and really needed to save my documents. They seem to be trained in certain equipment and sometimes they can't answer certain questions but when they are comfortable with what they are working with they can fully help you. But sometimes they attempt to help and it really doesn't fully correct the issue. But some things they can fix if you get the right person. The apple trainers where you can buy meeting to get trained really help. The person you are paired with really know their stuff and can help you understand the program properly. Buying new equipment there, they fully explain the ideal equipment for what you want it for. The app also is a great way to get it and get out by paying and scanning over your phone. They do have enough workers in the store, but some know more than others. They really should have their own complex for all the business they have to accommodate in there store in the fast growing industry. read more

Other people come in and have terrible expectations of what these people can do, however, in every experience that I have had here, the people have put in their best efforts. They may not always resolve the issue, however, they work with me as if I am a part of their team to help me find a solution. The wait time is reasonable, similar to a Doctor's office, and people who greeted me set the right expectations of what my experience would be like. I see other customers yelling sometimes, and the sheer amount of patience the staff has is unparalleled. In my personal and professional opinion, this store sets a wonderful expectation of what it means to provide a great service experience. Any person in possession of even a rudimentary comprehension of what constitutes half-way decent customer service is very obviously employed elsewhere. The so-called service person was rude, obnoxious, condescending, patronizing and she could not have had a more arrogant, disrespectful and dismissive, disdainful attitude if it had actually been her full-time job to be offensive and create a negative impression of Apple in general and that store in particular. I'll be extremely honest here; when I think of Apple, I think paramount customer service. This, here, at this Apple store, is paramount customer service. I had experienced my first issue of replacing a broken screen on my 9.7 inch iPad Pro. This eventually was solved, but I also had issues trying to connect another iPad I was upgrading from my previous 9.7 inch model to the 12 inch model to a Verizon edge program whilst at Apple store, as I now know that is only available through the iPhone. Jonathan, my sales associate, had helped me through all of the steps clearly, and I ended up saving money In the end, and getting two iPads! Again I will say, this is paramount customer service. When I walk into the Apple store, it's almost like I can sense an uplifting vibe in the area, although whilst feeling this vibe, an apple employee has already asked me how my day was and if I needed any help. Insanity Goal:purchase of two IPhone Xs for my wife and I. I started online but there seemed no easy way to buy two unless I went through the process twice. But I started a chat with the sales help deskto find an easier way. First they said they could help. The after 20 minutes of chatting, they said they couldn't help because I wished to use the upgrade program to buy them @ $50/mo. Not a great outcome. So we drove 45 minutes to the store. They were cheerful and willing to help. My wife and I are on the same plan with Verizon, so I anticipated one credit check , buy the two phones, activate, and setup the phones. No. We had to go through the credit check twice, purchase twice and activate twice - twice as long. Same credit card, same Verizon account - two separate purchases - Stupid and aggravating. Then we go through the setup process which was totally disappointing. Instead of asking for all of the signatures, terms acceptance, etc. in the beginning of the process allowing the rest to happen automatically (which should be easy for one of the world's supposedly great software companies), you had to stand at a table, and push buttons as directed by the person(s) manning the counter. With some of the apps loaded we check some critical ones and we figure out that since there is no finger print reader, we cant open apps that the fingerprint permissions. Some of these apps we have been opening for years by fingerprint, so we have no idea what the actual password is. Case in point, my password vault (EWallet) which contains all of my passwords, has not had a password change since 2009, and has no option for password recovery. Because we were not informed of this glitch, we had already approved the wiping of our old phones. At very least we should have been warned, but there is no reason that Apple couldn't have written a script to map finger print ID to FaceID - at least for an interim period to assure portability to the new ID system This is getting bad now - am aggravated. The two hours is took is not the real story. It actually looks more like this. .5 hours online + chat 3 man hours (2 people for 1.5 hours round trip) 4 man hours in store (2 hours x 2 people) Grand total 7.5 hours invested - for a simple phone upgrade... Unacceptable. Losing fingerprint access with no map to the new system or warning - totally unacceptable. Later, I plug the phone in, and it reboots. Odd, but maybe the battery was so low, that it actually shut off and back on, but it continues to reboot, over and over. I suspect that the battery is junk such that when the phone draws enough power it shuts off, while it is off, the battery charges a little, the phone boots, then draws more than is available and shuts off. My theory anyway. So I drive back to the store. I tell them about the battery. They take a quick look, reinstall the OS (erasing it all data in the process) and declare it unfixable and that they will happily give me a new one. This is where it really turns bad. They can't just swap the phone out, they say I have to return and deactivate the broken phone and I have to buy a new one - USING THE SAME PROCESS AS BUYING THEM TO START WITH!!!!!!!!!!!. They process the return. And we start the process all over again but without the benefit of access to my passwords. We go through the credit application process again! This time though it is more complicated because part of that process involves Verizon. They need my Wife's SS number, and pin for the Verizon account which was in my EWallet, but now I have to call my wife to get. She is, of course in a meeting. So we wait. I am also told that Verizon will think that I am adding a third phone and that I need to call them to sort it out. Then I stand at the stupid bench and push buttons as before. The guy in charge of the stupid table is aware that I am getting increasingly aggravated as the clock tics on. His response to my obviously increasing aggravation was to look nervous and avoid me. Nearly 3 hours later with a barely functional phone, I storm out of there incensed at the pure stupidity of all this. Original time to buy two phones 7.5 hours plus..... 1.5 hours travel 3 hours of doing their job for them That is an unimaginable 12 hours to buy two working phones!!!!!!! And I still have to recover all my now lost passwords I still think it was the battery and said so, but they didn't bother to try but sent me through this silly process again. I suppose that it was easier for them. Why am I having to buy a second new phone? Two credit checks?!!! If there was a problem the manager should have been involved and done all in his power to make this as painless as possible. I would have offered some remediation for the trouble. Nothing. Here is your phone, you do all the work - we just want your money. Poor process to start, defective product, and even worse process in the face of failure. read more

We walked in to purchase one of the new MacBooks and the staff consistently talked down to us like we've never touched a computer before in our lives. Now, I understand that some people walk in being new to computers in general but maybe when someone tells you they know what they're doing you should believe them. Perhaps the best store in the entire mall. Wide, open, and easy access. The staff is perhaps the best informed and helpful of any I've seen in retail. And I work in retail. The best thing is to already have the "Apple Store" app on your phone. You pick anything off the shelves and pay via iTunes. Any easier, it'd be outright theft. :-) read more

One of the newest additions to the Pheasant Lane Mall is the Apple Store on the first floor. This location is larger than the one in the Burlington Mall, and the check-out counter is on the far end of the store instead of being in the middle. The common thread is how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is. I didn't need help; I just like to check out the latest merchandise and perhaps check my email. An older couple was next to me, and one of the Apple experts was patiently showing them how to do this and that on a MacBook Pro, I believe. He wasn't pushy; he was just kind and helpful, without being patronizing. I've passed this location several times, and the place has been fairly empty, unlike the Burlington store. Not sure how it will survive, but according to one of the salespeople, the Pheasant Lane store beat out all the other stores in the region, and it has only been in operation for a month. I am not in the market for a new laptop, but when I am, I would consider coming here to purchase it: No tax and a very helpful, friendly staff. read more

I took my niece's MacBook Pro to this store as one of the keys broke off the keyboard. As they didn't have an extra key they told me to leave the computer as they were going to order the bottom case and replace the keyboard and bottom surface. This would take at least 4 days. Well the next day they called to say it was ready. I asked how as the part had to be ordered and specifically asked if the bottom case was replaced - yes was the reply. Picked it up and a spare key was put on - NOT the bottom case!!!! After contacting Apple support I had to make arrangement to bring it back to have the bottom case replaced. They took it back at 11 am. I picked it back up at 2 pm and the sales person went to start it up and could NOT! Long story short..... and 6 hours later .....they had to replace the hard drive! The laptop worked just fine when I brought it in!!!!! What a nightmare! read more

Today, I called to purchase the new 27" Apple cinema display with Thunderbolt connection. They told me this had come in and plenty were in stock. I drove 30 minutes to the store and was told it was not available. It took about ten minutes to confirm this. Net, the person answering the phone gave out the wrong information and wasted my time and gas. Not acceptable. This is just basic stuff and one expects better from any store especially an Apple Store where they supposedly take pride in their service. I visited this store yesterday to have some diagnostic testing done on my iPhone 5c, which had just started to repeatedly shut off on me. When I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted and taken right back to the Genius Bar, where I was fortunate enough to get an appointment right away. Ryan was very thorough in his attempts to diagnose the problem with my phone, all the while making sure everything was properly backed up to my iCloud. He was very patient through the whole process, which ended up taking significantly longer than anticipated. After about 45 minutes, he discovered that I was going to need a new iPhone. He was very sympathetic and objectively explained to me what my options were at that point and what the cost would be, without trying to sway my decision one way or another. Once I had purchased the new phone and he began to set it up for me, he very politely explained that he was going to begin helping another customer in the meantime. At this point he had been helping me for about an hour, and he had to pass up on several other appointments to continue helping me. I felt that his level of professionalism was excellent and his interpersonal skills were top notch as well. I truly sensed a genuine concern and strong desire to fix the problem and send a fellow human being home happy when interacting with Ryan. Based off of this experience, I most certainly would revisit this location and recommend it to others. read more

This Apple store is a lot better than the one I have to go to in Burlington, MA. Firstly - they are more helpful and less condescending here when you make an appointment. In Burlington, I had to sign myself up, only to have to repeat who I was and what the problem was with my iPhone to several people. But at this store - the girl near the front of the place signed me up on her ipad and I was able to be seen an hour later. The guy who helped me was clearly overworked, but he was a good guy to talk to and totally helped me out. - The place is packed, as all Apple stores are. I wish they'd make it clearer who to see when you first walk in - trying to track someone down is sometimes downright impossible in these stores. Other employees asked if I needed help while I was waiting, which is good - in this kind of place they should be checking up on you or you are lost in the sea of Apple users.
