Had an issue with my iPhone 6 (blue screen of death) Went 40 min before closing time on a Wednesday, but it was packed. I was told that I needed to come back after I made appointment (which was going to take two days). Was told the person that needed to look at the phone had just left. Seeing how I wasn't happy with this answer was told to wait and I guess a "general" person from the Genius bar would come out and look at the phone, but they might not be able to give me an answer on how to fix it. When this person came out. All they did was take it to the back to see if there was any water damage and it wasn't so they suggested that I come back and be there as soon as they open. ugh! Came back the next day and enter the store at exactly 10:30 by 10:45 I was already back in my car with a brand new phone. I think I waited longer at the genius bar for the guy to come out then it did for him to even look and exchange it. (He basically was like your phone is less than a year old so it's under warranty and it's a known issue so no big deal (liked he said known and vs. playing off like this never happens lol) Switched the sim card in old phone and put it in the new one. (YES new less scratchy iPhone! with new battery! ) It was taken care of very quickly and I was happy. Ironically I end up having to head back to apple store, about three weeks later. Lighting cable wasn't being recognized and couldn't charge my phone. (To be fair I think it had gotten wet on my part) came in early this time but closer to 11 am. The genius tech seem to take WAY longer exchanging going through a bunch of checks on his iPad pluging into several devices to see will the lighting cable work etc I notice I had to sign something this time and don't recall doing all of this with the iPhone exchange. Overall it was exchanged both times I got what I wanted out the service without having to spend any money. Although owning apple products since 2009. Never had a issue with any of my devices so this was the first two times actually having to come to the apple store, but I can see why people do buy the extended warranty. This store is doing things right in the era of COVID -- appointment only, wait outside until your appointment, temperature scan upon arrival, limited numbers of people, masks required (only saw one nose, on a customer whose mask was slipping, but eventually fixed), and distancing when you meet with your Genius Bar consultant. Danny took a look at a rattle in my Macbook Pro and was able to fix it quickly and easily. We were fortunate enough to be walking by on the first day of their new store remodel/opening. They gave us free t-shirts just for walking in the door. Since we were there anyway, we decided to ask about the problem we were having with a phone. Same drill as the other stores, get an appointment and come back for a visit to the genius bar. Very displeased with this store. The tip of the headphone plug broke off and was stuck in my headphone jack. I messaged Apple care and called Apple care to ask if the store was able to remove this broken plug. Both customer care reps ensured me that the store would have the necessary tools to remove the plug. Once I got to the store for my appointment, the employee took my phone to the back. I waited for about 30 minutes. The employee came back only to tell me that they could not remove the plug using the tools laying around in the back but I was eligible for an upgrade. And she proceeded to tell me prices.. In case you were wondering, a bic pen was able to remove the broken plug for 900 dollars cheaper! THANKS BIC! read more

So i drive 10 miles each way for them to keep my phone over night when i was told i would have it fixed the day of. Why take appoinments at times you cannot keep? WHY DOES ANYONE WANT TO LEAVE THEIR PHONE AT THE STORE OVER NIGHT? Apparently naperville store had a car go through it so they had all naperville appointments moved to them but they couldnt send a notifcation to those that made appointments early, days in advance, to advise them that all appointments after 4 were given next day pick up times. WHY?! They claim they have no ability too but i can get a notification of my appointment times. I actually hurt Jerrys feelings he switched me to a new advisor when i asked questions to him and manager ally decided i was talking to her and i advised her that i was talking to jerry to make sure what he said was heard by a manager. Hopefully my phone is fixed by my appointment time, if not i get to advise ally for a future conversation she said could be had at a later time if my phone is delayed for any reason. Oh and customer service guy named Rudy told me over the phone that they dont always have the parts in store to fix phones so it may be longer to fix if they don't have the part. And they couldn't tell me if they had the parts in stock to fix if it was either of the 2 issues wrong with my phone. Quinten was my next advisor at the store and let me tell you he questioned me if i knew my apple password. Like yes i know what i have to have done to get my phone fixed. I had everything ready for them to fix my phone until Jerry had his feelings hurt apparently cause he didn't want to help any more once i questioned if he was giving the right information in front of his manager. Then i get if a guest asks a question but do not have my phone handled in front of random ppl, i expected him to bring my phone straight to the back but no they have runners for that which makes no sense but what if he left my phone laying around and someone took it? I dont want to be lied too that i why i was double checking all info given in front of a manager. It isnt my fault a car went through naperville location. They should be the ones delayed not the ones who made appointments specifically at oakbrook location who got delays due to having to take in naperville appointments. Advisors should have came in from naperville to help take their customers so they dont inconvenience people who go to Oak brook. Nobody greets you at door they're all having friendly conversations with each other, which is fine but say hello and walk up to ppl as they come in the door. Oh and no loaner phones given for a screen repair which is one thing but if it happens to be the whole phone that needs to be replaced im allowed a loaner but they refused due to them not knowing what is wrong internally with my phone. I would choose a different store for future issues as this location is known to drag helping customers and they strive on making you drive back and forth on a daily to just get your phone. read more

The workers here are usually pretty helpful. I was previously experiencing problems with my iPhone 3GS and iPhone 5 and the workers earnestly seemed to try their best to help me resolve the issues. And if all else fails...they'll magically replace your phone (that is, if it's still under warranty). It helps to make an appointment beforehand if you want tech support. This store is ALWAYS busy whenever I visit--it could be -30 degrees outside, a blinding snow storm, and zombies terrorizing the mall....and there would still be a bajillion people in the store. read more

I am a total Apple newbie and had no idea how to work an IPhone or any Apple products *gasp* I know, hard to believe..I have always have had an Android, but I knew it was time for a change. I didnt love the newest Galaxy and hated that my android was attacking me with random ads all the time! So annoying!! I came in and looked at the phones, I decided to go with an IPhone 8+. The staff is knowledgeable and helped me reach that decision, thanks Ken! They answered all my questions and made my switch over to the IPhone seamless. Cameron called Sprint and initiated my switch. We charged my IPhone and then started to move all of my pictures and contacts from my android to my IPhone. He also helped me set up my email and taught me how to use my phone. We then looked at the accessories and I purchased a wireless charger and a portable charger so I can always stay charged. I am currently loving my iPhone and wished that I had made the switch sooner, now I just need to go back and get a MacBook. read more

Let me start by saying I don't normally write reviews but I have to write this one! My phone glitched out after the 12.1.1 update my camera and flash light wouldn't work. I called up customer support and was told that I could pick up a new phone at this location and they will send my old phone back and they set up a appointment for me. Got there at 6:20 and was told my an one of the workers that they saw no reports and that they don't swap phones. I asked for the manager who said he's name was Paul genius bar manager. You mean Paul the dumb manager. Fist off Paul you don't yell at customers and tell them no when they ask to speak to the store manager not some nerd then you have the nerve to not give me your badge number or employee number. Listen, the genius bar will help you and will do what they can to repair your comp/phone, but this is not the place to try and get freebies or ask for free repair..." because you are "only x amount of days" outside you're warranty." I have been dealing with an intensely difficult situation with a broken macbook that another genius broke but only came in here to see if they could fix it on the spot. When he said it would cost me money I said ok, I packed up, and left with my computer. I called customer support, and because I had a well documented case, with a 2 week history if tickets, chats, and calls, I was passed over to a senior rep who had the authority to waive my repair costs. I took it back to the store (with the cost waiver) and they sent it off to be repaired at no cost to me. All in all, I did not totally like the genius that helped me the second time I had to come here, he was kind of an ass, but thats what the call center is for. I was able to get the help I needed eventually from apple and I give the brand 4 stars. read more

She patiently took me through a tedious process of recovering my email account for my iPad. I've worked on this problem with Apple genius staff before, but Tanya was dedicated to getting the job done and saving me a trip to the Apple Store. She said, "I can do this for you." That came through in her energy, her suggestions, and her pleasure when we reached mission accomplished. I hope the managers of trhe Apple-Oak Brook store will let Tanya know that she has contributed to my esteem for their store, but most of all to my delight in seeing a young person set out on the way of helping others. While there are a few reps here that provide excellent service, my review is mainly the lack of diagnosis and ignorance of the faulty iPhone 6 battery. I came here after my initial diagnosis with an apple support person I spoke to over the phone and they were able to diagnose my phone's battery could no longer keep a charge or has lived its life and I was told I needed to replace it. I then proceeded to set up an appt for early May 2017. When at the store, the genius rep had me remove my casing and asked if there were other issues and I stated 'no' He then took the slot with the chip and took his phone to light the inside. He told me I had water damage and it was at the worse level 'red' as he demonstrated the colored pieces the store carries. He then said 'The phone is beyond repair and I had to replace it by buying the same model $300+tax. I left and took the phone to another place that told me the battery needs to be replaced. They offered $175 but also recommended I take it to apple. My instinct told me that the battery is the only thing that is affecting this phone's ability to perform as it should. I took a look at the phones indicator of any water damage but could not see anything in red. I then took it to a battery bolt+ chain since it had great ratings and they also replaced batteries on iPhone 6's and voila! No more issues and they found NO trace of water. Initially was pleasantly surprised that the part my phone needed was in stock and was told that the repai would take 45 min. Cat/Kat was the store associate that checked me in. She was quick and efficient and completely non-personal. I came back about an hour later. I told a woman with a green scarf I was here to pick up a repair. She asked my name and looked it up and told me that my phone wasn't ready yet and directed me to have a seat at one of the back tables. I went back to the table and, while there was no seat open, I stood by the table and waited for a seat to be open. An African American gentelman was calling people's names, doling out repaired phones and taking payments. I finally got a seat. After handing out the phones, he said to a gentleman sitting at the table, "you've been sitting there a while. What is your name again?" And proceeds to tell him that it wasn't ready yet. The customer gentleman says it was supposed to be ready at 12:30. So after the Apple guy goes on break, I commiserate with the gentleman and say that mine was supposed to be ready at 12. So I sit there. Two other Apple employees take over doling out repaired phones. And I sit. And I sit. In the clattering, noisy environment, on an uncomfortable stool, as Apple employees open the cash register drawer under the table I sit at and slam it shut shaking the whole table, cold because the draft from the opening and shutting door is coming all the way in the back of the room (now I know why the woman was wearing a green wool winter scarf) waiting for my phone to appear. So Kat comes over to the gentleman who is across the table from me whose phone was supposed to be ready at 12:30 and says, "let me check on your phone. You've Been here a while. " tapping tap tap. "No. It's not ready. The phone before yours had calibration issues." He laughs and points at me and says "it's your fault." I go along with the joke and chuckle. Kat is walking away. I have to raise my voice and say, " can you check mine? (Louder). Kat, can you check my status?" Kat replies, "what's your name?" (Seriously?!? But I tell her. We're human and she's probably seen a lot of people today.). "Yours has been ready since 12:19. I just clicked to bring it out." Inside I AM FRICKING LIVID! If my phone had an issue and it had taken longer that would be one thing but I had been sitting there for FOURTY FIVE MINUTES WASTING MY DAY BECAUSE NO ONE WAS PAYING ATTENTION TO ME. So a shorter African American female brings out an iPad and two phones. Mine is in the batch. I wait patiently while she CALLS MY NAME LAST. After I get my phone I realize the repair person has cracked my screen protector. She tells me that is a possibility and not covered. I knew that and that's not really the issue at this point. I've already been insulted by the wait time and now there is added injury to my phone. So I start explaining to her how upset I was about the wait time to receive my repaired phone. I'm not sure she says a peep because she has already processed my card and is walking away from me so I say "I would like to speak to a supervisor." Also, I brought in a phone that was 80% charged. I received a phone with 6% charge. You'd think that perhaps they could have been CHARGING IT IN THE BACK FOR FORTY FIVE MINUTES WHILE I WAS WAITING?!?!?! So "Bear" comes out. I explain to him the circumstances. He is looking at me with a vacant stare that inferrs to me a thought process of "how can I get her to leave quickly". I actually come out and explain "I asked to talk to you because I don't feel my concerns as a customer we're teceived by the other girl. I'm getting the same feeling now." Paraphrasing... I told him I waited longer because I was dissatisfied with my experience and would have like to SAVE A FUTURE CUSTOMER from havintg a similar experience. And he replied about how this doesn't happen because they are a well oiled machine "blah blah blah" and I replied "it failed." Nothing is going to change even though I made this effort. Hence why I'm filling out the survey. I am still completely dissatisfied with my experience today and have a completely negative feeling about Apple. And reading stories about how android phones are developing new tech ology faster than Apple, it makes me doubt my longevity with Apple. I have had an Apple phone since the third generation and my husband gave me the top of the line S one. The iPhone 7 (which "Bear" said they no longer carried screen protectors because it was an "OLD" model WHICH THEY HAVE RECENTLY RE-RELEASED SINCE EVERYONE HATES THE "NEWER" IPHONES. Also, I didn't ask for a replacement and told him that it was peanuts to the point. So disgusted at how I was treated. I will never return to this location. read more

I ordered an Apple Watch band online and it turned out to be to big. I went to the store to exchange it where Greg was helping me. He already seemed to be struggling with trying to do an even exchange for me. He said since it was an online order it wasn't letting him exchange it he would have to return it and charge me for the new one. He added the credit to a gift card and then told me I would have to pay the difference for the taxes. I told him I don't see why I have to pay more when I just came in to do an even exchange. He said there is nothing he can do so I asked him for the gift card back. He then proceeded to throw the card in my direction and started taking care of another customer without even saying another word to me. I left the store at looked at my apple account where I noticed he tried to process the return to have me ship the item back to the store which I assume was the reason it wasn't letting him exchange it. I don't mind that he was having an issue trying to take care of it but if he was struggling it should of have just asked for help. Brought my Laptop in for a broken screen which they were able to repair in-house in 3-5 days, but the real reason for 5 Stars is the service! Just top-notch and outstanding. I'm in sales and deal with clients all the time, and like anyone else in a people-based biz, you can be hypersensitive and aware of sub-apr service, especially when you feel like you're really good at it......well anyway, these folks don't disappoint and are the reason I drove from Chicago to see them instead of going somewhere closer. The employees are able to explain how the things work and how to change things, but each, same style phone is different. I bought a replacement with higher memory and it only added problems. 2. I am making a list here for ALL the problems I have with the Apple phone, and i hope for the mental health of every one who uses this nonsense creating device. Issue list: 1. Maps: several issues here -Doesn't find known locations I haven't had the opportunity to see it tell me to do an illegal u-turn on the expressway like google but, they still don't know about stop lights or how to go back a little to find a better route, not just "faster." -yelp is trash. You have to exit the entire program download the app and then you have to use yelp... -wtf, 6X the price; you'd think they'd pay to use the best stuff. Fucking don't care! If you have a pride issue with google maps, I could tell you all day the problems with their crap, but at least it's not tomtom... you rip off your own reputation. Have some self respect. Sell the fuck out! 2. Voice to text: I know most people have a problem with the function, but let me clarify. I said shammy a dozen times then i gave up and hoped my friend understood, then when I didn't expect it, it spelled it right, so I verbally responded saying "holy shit it said, (then it replaced it and adds the second one spelled semi)... what the fuck! You had it right, but then you changed it and now I have two of the wrong thing. I'd rather get fucked in the ass then to deal with your bullshit! 3. Freezing/ no response: The screen is fine, but I have to go back or something because refreshing does not work either. The screen often doesn't respond to tapping, and part of that is in the design. IT'S SO FUCKED UP THAT I CAN'T TAP IN THE MIDDLE OF A WORD AND GET EXACTLY WHERE I CLICKED. No! I have to do twice the work AND THEN swipe to where i wanted it to go. SO FRUSTRATING.. but I could go on and on about shit like this because your damn engineers think it's cool and funny. Seriously FIRE THEM ALL AND HIRE ME! I will show you all how it's done, but you'll have to pay me like an executive and give me an up front stipend. But trust me, it will boost your reputation like an expensive hooker at a business party. 4. App restore: I'm wondering what isn't working because if something I can see is not completely downloaded as it knows what I had on my other phone, what else doesn't work properly that is not on the display? 5. Double ring for text: When I decided (wtf, just sent me to the end again!) to upgrade my memory just to prevent the phone from bogging down from full memory and to not have to keep saving everything. Half of the expected basic functions changed. Now when i get a text, In a couple minutes it will ring again as if I received a completely new text, but it doesn't exist. There is no setting for this; Apple just has bad programming. It's like some highschool students are doing the programming. Amateurs! 6. The replacement phone has different features and does NOT act the same: My camera doesn't do full screen, and of course the settings doesn't help... nope (see next complaint). The options just aren't there, the one that looks like it does nothing! The screen stays smaller with the shaded surrounding area. I mean great picture but they make it impossible to do what you know it's capable of doing. You CAN'T control what you want! And if they do have an answer (..ok there is no reason, even if I hit return on accident instead of backspace, that my placement should jump to the end of my script. (See #8) 7. Settings: I no longer have full screen camera, all my apps never fully downloaded, i had to go get them again, see # 5, ... It's unorganized, anything important is hard to find. 8. Screen jumps: At any point in time you could be shifting in the middle of typing. It has put me way up and off the screen, it has shifted me up a couple paragraphs, and it's put me diwn at the end of my script. Absolutely no reason, no sensible explanation; it's just complete nonsense. I just scrolled and it shifted down to another spot; it's not like how it refreshes the older texts; it just shifted a paragraph down. I should be paid just to try using apples phone product because they didn't finish making it yet! It's not done; DON'T SELL SOMETHING THAT ISN'T finished. You owe me Apple! read more

Never was one that enjoyed going into the Apple Store experience. It's always over crowded, and not really organized. It gives me a small convention feeling when I go. A big open space that doesn't really provide a good shopping experience with the crowds. Would be nice if you were able to shop, and make purchases away from the people that are there for classes or lingering. read more

Shout out to Ian @ The Apple Store in Oak Brook. So a few days ago, I updated my iPhone 7+ to the new iOS 11. Well the update corrupted my phone and was freezing constantly whenever I would open an app. I couldn't make phone calls, watch videos, or even rely on my alarm to go off. Someone advised me to go to the Apple Store to have them check it out because they were also having the same issue and said it was a hardware problem and the store was able to swap out her phone for a new one. So I took her advice. After waiting almost three hours for a "genius", I finally got to talk to a tech. I believe his name was Nathan. Well, Nathan decided to do a hard reset on my phone, which basically uninstalled the iOS 11 & erased everything on my phone. Once it came to resetting up my iPhone, he said that this should work and then he dipped out on me without seeing if I was still having problems just because it was nine o'clock (aka closing time). I was nervous that it wasn't going to fix the issues that my phone was having. So my boyfriend and I stayed til the phone was done with the reset and set up, yet my phone continued to freeze and give me problems. Luckily, I was able to grab Ian after he was done helping another customer & it was already past closing time, yet he stayed patient and worked through the issue. Which actually resulted in having to completely replace my iPhone with a new one. Free of charge. Honestly if I could rate the associates on an individual basis, Nathan would get a big fat thumbs down from me. He really didn't help at all. Poor customer service. He had gauges and tattoos on his arm. But Ian was fantastic! Thumbs up all the way. I truly appreciate his patience and understanding my frustration with the entire situation. read more

The 3 stars are for the kindness of the young man who helped me out with my mom's phone and who was so kind as to help the person I sat by me, after me... he should have 5 stars for his swiftness in fixing the problem as well as kindness. So... My mother had an issue with her iphone. It had an update, her phone lock screen appeared after the update, and she could not unlock it. She couldn't recall even making a lock code. The issue with apple is fixing this issue at home is a major pain in the butt. You need to have iTunes downloaded on to a computer to fix this. Sign into the person's account, then attempt to back up and reset it and if it doesn't work you need to do it over and over because it kicks you out... I mean a total mess that should take way less time and be way more user friendly. Fixing this issue at the store seems much more simplistic, but it's not either! ***Make an appointment! Don't be a walk in*** If you need help and just walk in, you'll wait hours!! I made an appointment but had to wait nearly 2 days to get in. I had to drive from 40 mins away to the store and sit and wait over an hour even though I was in time for my appointment... They book appointments every 10 minutes as well as accepting walk in's so they have constantly 100 people in their store. The person I sat by came from an hour away and had been waiting for 2 hours as a walk in. She didn't know appointments were even possible. Just too reset my mom's phone took about 4 hours of my day including drive time. Very frustrating. This should be done with a phone call. ***Must read side note** The attire/dress code they allow their employees to wear bothers me. They don't stand out at all and you can't distinguish who is and isn't an employee. 2 employees had "stylish" jeans with major holes in them and you could clearly see their underwear. There is zero reason to wear jeans with holes that high on your pants TO WORK. While this seems silly to some people, I view it as unprofessional and not appreciate. Especially for a store with a reputation as big as Apple. A manager should have sent these people home to change. read more

I was just in a the store and Dana was the technician who was assigned to my appointment. When she came over she was already in a bad mood. I was having an issue with my phone and my iPad. She informs me that they can't service both devices on the appointment. Then she got really upset when I said to work on my camera issue on my iPad bc I'll just google my phone issue. She got really upset and walked away. So I had to wait even longer for another technician to come and finish what Dana wouldn't finish! At the end of the day I need to go to another store bc they don't have my replacement in stock read more

I took my computer for repair, I called them multiple times, stayed on the phone for hours but nobody knows when the repair is complete and when I get my computer!!!!!! I am very disappointed. I paid for apple care to get coverage at the time of purchase and didn't know Apple really doesn't care about anything except money. Ive been to apple stores in 4 different states and i usually like apple but this store is by far the worst I've been here 3 times after being denied i did not have an appointment i had to make another one the next day but even after the fact i still had to wait outside for 40+ mins which in mind blowing because there is people in the store doing nothing after finally being attended i bought an apple watch and drove home just to find out i was given the wrong product so i had to drive all the way back just to get the correct one i hate this store my experience worsened read more

The one star is not about the people, but the rest of the experience. Genius members Ryan and Sheev were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Sales member Danielle, another guy I don't know, and their manager (Gina?) were also very kind and wanted what was best for me. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was a disaster. In short, they activated my new phone before processing my trade-in, which held up activation of the new phone. As they figured that out, I had already set up my new iPhone (downloaded new iOS, all data from the cloud, etc....easily a 45 minute process)...but was told I would need to do it all over again with a new phone as they had to process the transaction another time. So, I wait another 45 minutes as I set up my new NEW iPhone at some other table as the two sales people simply "passed me off" to someone else. FINALLY I got the phone up and running, deleted the phone and my trade-in, made a test call (that worked somehow), and got the heck out. 2 hours, twenty minutes. Then I get home and realize I have no network connection. They never activated (or swapped out?) my SIM card from the phone they burned to my new phone and I had to go to an AT&T store the next night for them to activate it (took those folks less than ten minutes, might I add). During this terrible experience at Apple, I was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding of the staff who was obviously stressed...which I understand. However, they did not exactly make an effort to rectify my terrible experience. They apologized but did not seem to care about keeping me happy or loyal to them as a customer. Plus, I found out today I could have doubled my trade-in value if I went to AT&T instead of Apple since I was eligible for an "upgrade"...so I know where I'm going next time I need a new phone and it won't be Apple at Oak Brook. read more

Honestly, I went in on Black Friday with my son to buy my second MacBook Pro, which lasted ten years. Although my son had decided I had drunk the Koolaid on Mac, I asked the salesperson to give him a pitch on why he should accept my offer of buying him a Mac. She was low key but hit all of the points I have, including the fact that he has had 3 PCs during the time I have had one Mac. So when I went to pick up my purchase on Sunday, Dec 1, I called him before I left the store. "do you want me to pick up a Mac for you? He said although he had some misgivings about how easy it would be to make the switch, "I think I should try it." The salesperson who was assigned to make this second purchase asked me questions, and I didn't know the answers. I got my son on the phone, they talked, and we were sold the required equipment and no more. This was a great experience with both sales and product assistance personnel who got me out of the store with personal delivery to the back door, where I picked up some heavy packages that I could not handle as a disabled person. read more

Apple Oakbrook - One Family, Two Macs - Computers Near Me - Oak Brook, Illinois

I was told the Apple store in Oak Brook was better as far as customer service. So I gave it a shot did a walk in appointment. The dude at the entrance greeted me and led me to the associate who I could make an appointment with. I was told there was a 3 hour wait! I wasn't surprised I knew what I was in for a long wait. Meanwhile I waited I hit the mall did some shopping.... I was bored within the hour. Anyway while I waited at Barnes and Noble I got a text an hour ahead of time so I was relieved. I went back to the Apple store, checked in with the associate and I waited for about 15 minutes or so. The issue I was having with my Mac laptop wasn't crazy just that I forgot the password to log in and there was an issue with ICloud. I didn't get the associate name who helped me but he was so patient. I was there for less then an hour and he fixed the issue fairly quick. Overall from what I saw and heard the Apple store associates here are cool, friendly, and helpful. read more

Can you please get rid of the rude security guards at the door! My husband and I were unaware of the new rules and were talked down to by one of the security guards after telling him we wanted to go in to buy a charger.... you give a guy a bullet proof vest and they think they can be rude to anyone. We will never go to this Apple store again. read more

Headed to Apple with the intent to buy a watch. Big fan of Apple products but not so much their customer service these days. Walked into this location and didn't have a shopping reservation. Four employees standing around and yet no one could show me an actual watch without making a reservation to actually see one. read more

I went to the Apple Store in Oakbrook Terrace to have my iPhone 6 battery replaced...well wouldn't you know it they had an issued and had to give me a refurbished iPhone 6 that is not working correctly...after less than 24 hours it stopped cell service only to find out that I would have to remove and reinstall the SIM card to get it to work again...also when I tried to back up my information from iTunes it wouldn't upload my information and I basically lost years of pictures (yes shame on me). I will never deal with the Apple store ever again and I wouldn't recommend it. read more
