The franchise stores of AT&T are hit or miss. The staff at this store did not make me feel welcome at all nor did they instill confidence in the ability to deliver on a simple account change request. I have been a long term AT&T customer but they mentioned they could not perform a simple SIM swap on my account because of some new policy AT&T had put in place with regards to a line being recently upgraded. I would suggest avoid the hassle with this store because I honestly not sure if they did not know how to perform or just entered the account / line verification code incorrectly into their tablet. I will be avoiding the Countryside store altogether moving forward. AT&T pls hold your franchise stores accountable for service delivery and competence. read more

I came here a couple of weeks ago to trade in my phone as I thought I would be eligible for a trade in but was rudely surprised with a claim that id only receive a $350 credit for the phone here despite the promotion (AT&T) they were offering online. I recommend to not come here if you want to trade in your phone as my phone was in great condition and got left with that. After doing the process online I was able to receive the full amount. Mind you they looked at the phone for maybe a minute max and said it was only worth that amount unless I repaired my so called "damaged" screen. I received very unwelcoming customer service and would not recommend coming here as I am not sure why they would try to lowball you so bad. They seem more focused on scamming you and watching the Bears game. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. My husband and I were misled by Shawn or Sean, I don't know how to spell his name. We went to inquire about adding lines to our plan and we were told by this associate that we could get the process started, proceeded to give us 3 SIM cards, and told us they wouldn't be active yet since we did tell them we were waiting for our family members to finish paying off their phones. He stated that when our family members were ready, to come back to the store or call customer service, and they would activate the SIM cards, all the information was set but nothing would be activated. One month later, we got a bill for $606! Our usual bill is $204-214 usually but my husband did use the international plan so we knew it would be about $100-125 more. When we looked at our bill and went to another AT&T store, they told us these 3 lines were activated and we were basically paying for service we weren't using because we hadn't transferred lines yet or even put the SIM cards in any phone! So as you can see, we got charged for each of the 3 lines service fees ($30 each) plus $45 for the plan per line! When we contacted AT&T customer service on the phone, we were told that Shawn/Sean should have never given us those SIM cards until we were 100% ready to add those lines but how are we, the customers, supposed to know that?! He also changed our plan which we had the Unlimited&More plan (35.00$) and customer service told us it had been changed to the Unlimited Elite which we NEVER asked for. My husband went to the store to respectfully speak to Shawn/Sean and he claimed to not remember us! Then he said to my husband "Well what did you expect when I gave you those cards, of course they would be active!" I would at least have respect for him if he said he made a mistake. We were so upset because we got charged $300 ($100 per line) for those 3 lines that we NEVER used anything on and were only able to get $200 back for a mistake that was not our fault. We were so close to switching to Verizon because we were so upset but then after calling AT&T customer service 3 times, we did get our bill lowered a bit but it was still such a headache to deal with. Point is, if you need anything like adding lines or shopping for plans, AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. You will be misled, overcharged, and you will not even have 100% of your money returned for a mistake you did not make. read more

I was never a customer at this location. I had called this store on Friday evening because I accidentally reset my Iphone. Long story, but when I realized what was going on I tried shutting off my phone to disable the process but it didn't work. While frantically checking my phone settings after the reset, I realized all my photos were missing from my camera roll. I panicked. A gentleman by the name of Carlos answered the phone when I called this store. He was the sweetest, nicest and most helpful person I have ever encountered in the service industry. In addition, he was extremely knowledgeable and helped me navigate through phone to retrieve the photos through iCloud. OMG I was so relieved and thankful. If I'm ever in need of a new phone, this will be the store I go to and I'll be sure to ask for Carlos. read more

Went here to transfer contacts to my new phone. Customer rep was friendly and while waiting for transfer to complete he offered tips for success for the new phone. Another lady was being helped by a rep, the lady was here to add international text and minutes for her daughter studying abroad for a week and the Rep could have sold her a package but offered her advice on how to talk with her daughter for free using facetime and texting in WiFi areas between the iPhones. That was very cool to see because businesses these days aren't honest and will sell whatever to make a quick buck. way to go att! read more
