Terrible shopping experience. Three attempts at explaining that I don't need a lot of assistance, just a device to take to the counter fell on deaf ears. Waited 45 minutes just to be told that the store was busy and that I'd have to wait....while someone else who came in after I did was allotted a "SPECIALIST". Would NOT go back. read more

Aweful made an appointment in advance showed up 30 mins early with my home computer they did not want me to leave the computer while I parked my car. After finally checking in I waited an hour an a half before I was able to see a technician. And this was an appointment made in advance. Seeing a cardiologist would have been faster. One of the apple stores that I always visit. What I love is that they have walk ins. It may take maybe an hour of my time but it's better then having to wait a week to see a specialist. This store is always packed and the soonest reservation you can get is the following week. If you need a reservation asap, then either go to white plains or come in for a walk in. read more

Worst place ever , first of all the Apple technical support over the phone are horrible miss information sent me to this store at Ridge hill in Yonkers to repair a computer . The employees do not introduce them selves or tell you what they are doing . I had appointment to fix a 2 yr old Mac Pro Book black screen . Even with an appointment , you have to wait . This Apple store could not fix the computer after hooking it up to a diagnostic machine for a second , closed the computer and said it will be shipped out and I have to paid 500 dollars for a screen I felt like I was being taken advantage of. , Manager stands there looking at you and doesn't even know policy of shipping a computer out . I have warranty and they don't even honor the warranty as they stated , horrible customer service all they care about is how much money they can get from you . Long story short: I was given an appointment two days later to change my charger. That morning I was running on 1%. How ridiculous is that. My co-worker graciously allowed me to use her charger. Wow there must be a better way! Totally unacceptable. read more

Shortly after an accident occurred resulting in the cracking of my screen I brought my iPhone to a service center in Yonkers, NY. I am still under the year repair coverage and had one incident left. The phone was taken for repair only for them to bring it back out to inform me that there was water/liquid damage to the phone and the price for repair/replacement would be of higher cost. I was also informed that when attempting to replace the screen they cracked the screen causing further damage. They screen should have not been removed until confirmation of water/liquid damage was confirmed and the screen does not need to be taken off to do so. Furthermore they refused to assist in the repair of damage caused by them. Needless to say I did not get the phone repaired/replaced that day as I was furious and disgusted in the customer service. Since then (about 3 weeks ago) the phone has progressively gotten worse. The crack made by them is cutting my finger, the phone is glitching and there are now dark spots in the phone. Prior to bring the phone to them the phone was in perfect working condition other than the minor cracks in the screen. No resolution was met and I am besides myself. The phone should have been repaired/replaced at no cost due to their mistake causing additional damage to the phone. read more

Go elsewhere as this place is a joke. The sales staff treated me as if I came in to purchase a pack of gum rather than invest in a product that cost over a thousand dollars. The staff was also uniformed and either did not know the answers or refused to be forthcoming about the product for whatever reason. Unprofessional all the way around. I thought it would have been better to buy computer in person but after this experience, I would have rather made the purchase online.Don't waste your time here. And, you have to pay for parking. read more

Visited this store for the third or fourth time and I was most disappointed by the lack of service/attention I received today. My previous visits were excellent so perhaps this was just an anomaly. The staff was unfriendly and inattentive. I left without making my intended purchase. I'll give them another try, down the road, and hope they have shaped up. bad service. always crowded. sales help not knowledgeable or friendly like other apple stores. customers are very down market. upscale its not. watch your purse in this store. some of the customers give off a very weird vibe. typical Yonkers environment. nothing good ever comes from Yonkers! read more

Went to the Ridge Hill Apple store this afternoon at 4:10 and it was practically empty. I walked in and put my things down on the first table to get out my phone and find the other items and info I needed. After one of the greeters finished chatting with another employee, she ambled over to a nearby table, leaned back on it and called out to me, asking if I needed help. I responded yes and she waved me towards herself, not budging. I repeated I did need help and added with my iPhone and she just waved me over again, not moving to come see what I needed. A 3rd time she asked if I needed help, lounging on the table behind her, and I picked up my things to start over to her when I realized how ridiculous the situation was and that she didn't care if I were helped or not, if Apple lost a sale or not. I said I would shop elsewhere and left without buying the items I had come in for, for my phone and iPad. Perhaps I will have better luck at another store. read more
