Unprofessional, unorganized and rude. Vanessa needs training in professionalism and class although I believe it would not make any difference in her case. I've been trying to get my refund for 3 days now and they still have not sent me a confirmation for the entire amount. They also do not pick up their phone and in a rare case they do they have rude customer service as others have mentioned when they do. The first time I called a male representative had an arrogant attitude and told me managers are not available. He put me on hold and did not transfer me. I hung up. I called 2 days later and someone named Vanessa picked up and it seemed she was at the store. She was rude and unprofessional making inappropriate comments instead of conducting herself with an ounce of professionalism. It was obvious speaking to her was a waste of time so I politely asked to be transferred to her manager. She then rudely chuckled in a mocking manner. The lack of education, professionalism and class with Vanessa was on another level. She initially said she was going to transfer me to their customer service. I specifically told her I did not want to be transferred to them as they had told me it's the store that issues the refund once they receive item which they had. I specifically asked to be transferred to her manager, but she transferred me to a manager at the virtual store instead. Even Apple's own customer service can't reach them. They have done a partial refund instead of a full refund for an order that the driver could not deliver because he could not enter the PIN number into the system. I received an email from this store noting they have refunded me for the item, but they did not send any emails about the refund for the shipping even their virtual customer service has confirmed would be refunded. Apple claims to be a luxury store yet the customer service does not match that claim. read more

Simple Battery Replacement Turned Into Multiple Trips! I brought my iPhone 14 Pro Max to the Apple Store in Downtown LA for a routine battery replacement. I dropped it off around 1:00 PM and was told to come back at 4:00 PM to pick it up. When I returned at 4:00 PM, I waited approximately 40 minutes before being assisted. I was then informed that during the battery replacement process, the technician accidentally damaged my screen and motherboard/control panel while opening the device. I was told the necessary replacement parts were not in stock and would take 2-3 days to arrive. As a result, I now have to return again for them to repair the damage that occurred while the phone was in their care -- and only after fixing those components will they complete the original battery replacement. What's frustrating is: * The damage happened during a routine service performed by their technician. * No discount or accommodation was offered for the inconvenience. * I now have to make multiple additional trips due to an issue that was not my fault. I understand accidents can happen, but when a customer's device is damaged during service, there should be accountability and some effort to make it right. Instead, I was left inconvenienced and without any goodwill gesture. read more

This is a smaller Apple Store, but what they lack in space, the make up for in grandeur. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful Apple Store I have ever been to. I love that they did their best to keep as much of the original theater architecture and ornate interiors in place, including the balcony area (though they've converted seats in to just long benches where you can sit and work or just take in your surroundings). Staff is friendly. I think it was obvious I was in more to explore than to buy so generally I was left alone. But I was able to see several employees helping customers from picking out a phone to full on tech support on laptops. Given its location, this might not be the easiest Apple Store to visit, but if you are in the area, you really owe it to yourself to check it out. You won't be disappointed. Yeah I am one of those "old people" who's still using an iPhone 11 Pro. And hadn't been able to do an update since IOS who-knows-what because lack of storage. I was brave enough to just ask at the door if I could wait for a genius and they were so nice and said Yes! I didn't even have an appointment, and it was the 17 release day so there was a huge line up the block! I am so glad I got help. Otherwise I may have deleted all my photos and videos for nothin'. This location is inside a spectacularly refurbished 1920s theater. It's worth going inside just to see it- it is beautiful!! Everyone was so kind and Benjamin fixed me right as rain! Probably the coolest apple store around. It's even cooler than the Grand Central Station store in NYC. Despite my love-hate relationship with Apple, I must give them credit for what they have done to renovate and restore this beautiful Globe Theater. More people are here for the theater, than they are for Apple. They know this, and they welcome it. This location is mostly used for event and Apple promotions, but there are many sales people out on the floor ready to help. This spot is definitely worth a stop if you are in town. Came to checkout all the Apple fun encased in a slice of LA history. Located on Broadway, amongst a street filled with old run down former theatre's rises this historically accurate renovation of the Tower theatre. You just can stop looking in every direction the minute it comes into view. Fun and vibrant and always packed with Apple gawkers. A giant screen displays all the latest cool Apple gadgets and you can sit and enjoy on the mezzanine level in beautiful leather banquettes. It's a great spot just to imagine what DTLA could really be if there was the energy to revise all of these old buildings and making some cool and unique. read more

My search for a lavender iPhone 17 brought me here. I have to admit I was in a mood because of all of the Christmas traffic getting here and the only parking I found close to the store was $15. Although I didn't feel like my visit was worth what I paid for parking it was definitely a pleasant one. Staff was friendly and ready to assist anyone that needed help. I kept seeing Apple Theater on my map while walking around downtown LA, so decided to just stop in and see what it was about. An amazing transformation of the space, historical theater turned into an Apple Store. Spoke with the greeter, who I am sure is used to my confused look. He said before I head upstairs I should walk the lower level to the front of the store and then look up and back. I first thought, well this is a great tactic to get you to browse the store (and yes I did stop by the headsets out of curiosity). Then after I looked up and back I realized oh no, he was right. I'm glad this location is in dtla right on mainstreet. I had to stop in for an emergency AirPod situation. Just be cognizant handling AirPods in an elevator. Upon arriving, I made a last minute appointment with front store host. I advise pre schedule via online. Wait was 30 minutes but felt like 15 and they rushed me through Few minutes earlier. The staff are professional but air pod pros are expensive to replace. This company is always trying to make money, should be a discount for first time AirPod loss. It's unfortunate but had to be replaced. The renovated theater space is gorgeous. Id return just to observe the space more. Beautifully renovated. Better off getting your stuffed delivered or go to another store. They're very understaffed, the staff is clearly stressed, and they ignored me every time I asked where to go. There is a big line with no signage, just stanchions. How are people supposed to know what the line is for? I finally got directed to stand near a table for my pick up order, and then Tim (manager?) got all rude and aggressive with me saying I wasn't standing at the right table. How am I supposed to know where to go when the few employees there are busy and there's a giant line of people? The Manager Chris told me that this was the first sports/fitness event but they had planned to have a lot of events in this space but due to Covid they have had a few artists. My bf pre-ordered his iPhone 15 pro online for pick up & we came in before he got the "it's ready" email hoping it would speed up the process a little at around 6 pm on a Wednesday night. Without an issue, Gus helped us out. Super friendly & helpful - explaining everything that he'd be able to help my bf out with along with choosing his carrier for the new phone, uploading everything into the cloud from his old phone, shipping out his old phone at the store, etc. Gus sure didn't miss a beat & we appreciated his assistance because we were in and out of there in less than 15 minutes! The service here was amazing! Very clean and organized stores and anything but the madness that is your regular Apple stores. What was a bit of a pickle was the parking. Went shopping down the street and validated our 2 hour parking and took a quick stroll down to Apple to get my phone fixed. Back and forth to both places in under an hour. The service was fast, fantastic and all of my questions and issues answered in minutes. Phone jacked up and new phone set up. With such ease, this may be our new Apple Store! Loved the location too. Joseph and Melenium were very patient to answer all my questions and run all the tests necessary for my iphone 17, and they were able to find the root of the problem and fix it. They both have super positive attitudes and deserve a raise! Thank you so much for the good service, I highly recommend this store. This Apple Store is in a very interesting remodeled theater, and the staff all seemed to really enjoy talking about it. They gave us completely different facts, though! The person who seemed to really have his info straight was the guy who was allowing access to the bathrooms. I was there for a screen replacement which took longer than expected but was completed to my satisfaction. However, while we were there I started looking at chargers. Two different staffers recommended a charger by Nimble. The first staffer recommended it because it was MagSafe charger, and I had been looking for the Apple one that is no longer in production. I didn't like the look of it so I didn't pick it up. Since we waited for a while, I ended up seeing it in a different location in the store. I looked at it again, this time next to a Mophie charger. It was $20 more than the Mophie one, and I had never heard of Nimble so I asked a different staffer why it was pricier than the more well known brand. They told me it was because the Nimble one was MagSafe. That explained the price difference to me, so I bought the Nimble. Got it back to my hotel and it is NOT MagSafe. It's clunky and not a color I prefer, and I paid $20 more for it. I thought Apple employees were supposed to know their stuff but now I just feel like they were pushing the more expensive charger. read more

When I first heard about an Apple Store opening in DTLA I was a little surprised, given how the area can be dicey. Well it's now been a few years and I can say it's been more than a welcome addition to the area. One of the most gorgeous Apple Stores I've visited and the staff, including security, always provide a great experience AND make me feel safe. They stay open pretty late and again always a great customer experience whenever I have swung by be it for shopping or service. A big shout out to LEVI at the Genius. He's helped me twice with my Mac repairs and I swear, truly exemplifies THE most pleasant customer service ever. I'm trying to remember the names of others (i.e Devari (sp?) who had also helped in tandem with Levi the 1st time) but let's just say there have been multiple positive experiences here so this review may be overdue but well deserved still, even after all this time. read more

Stopped by this Apple Store on a Sunday morning to upgrade my iphone.upon walking in two things occurred, first I was amazed by how beautiful the store is, and secondly I was greeted with quick service. I was quickly assisted in upgrading my phone, and was encouraged to sit while all of my data transferred and made sure that everything was good to go. While I waited I got a bit curious about the Apple Vision Pros and the sales rep asked if I'd like a trial that would be fitted to my prescription glasses. Wait what?! That experience was great! Apple Store run by Entitled Apathetic This Apple Store excels in making me feel excluded I came in with my newly built PC My iTunes is not able to recognize my phone.. Parking is bleak Apple does not compensate parking whatsoever So not only did i have to carry my large PC, Monitor, And a backpack with my iPad, and MacBook Pro. To demonstrate why my iTunes can only detect/register/locate my iPhone. I kindly requested if i was able to unload my heavy load (of apple products) the young representative (early 20's) was profoundly condescending, Apathetic replies, operating as a non sentient robot. I end up paying 15$ for parking, Walking with my expensive and heavy load. I take the elevator, And came across the manager/supervisor. Who at first tried to direct me elsewhere. I reminded him to appreciate the fact I made an appointment, Had a heavy ass load And needed to fix this apple issue I swear, It feels like everyone in this store is run by nepotism. How do you have such condescending, apathetic, and remorseless staff. Doing their very best to avoid and tackle situations. Poor service from the store Manager. He had music playing in an AirPod while speaking to me and asked me to repeat myself twice, because of said AirPod. There is general sense of unprofessionalism. Tim is what I believe his name is, beard, tall on site today 8/9 12:45 pm. The general staff however are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The architecture is beautiful so for that I will add one star. We may want make some adjustments regarding professionalism and helpfulness from management. Ordered online and decided to come pick up here. I honestly didn't know the Tower Theatre was an Apple Store so I was late on the news. Anyways I did my research about the place and it was a Theatre built in the 1920s and was closed around 1980s. Apple decided to restore the property and added some modern touches. The Tower Theatre is iconic and it's one of the important historical landmarks in Los Angeles. Parking: You want free parking? Forget it. There is some street metered parking and you better be lucky to get one. There's also more parking at a flat rate available. Experience: This is definitely different from other Apple Stores and the most nicest I've ever been in. The doors were that classic heavy doors and the interior decor gives that 1920's and 21st century vibes. A mixup of both modern and classic. In front, multiple Apple employees and security will greet you in the front. The Apple employees up front and some Apple employees on the sales floor were nice! The interior decor from the elevators to the stairs, ceilings, and balcony were top notch! There is a vantage point on the balcony with leather sofas and to view little Keynote presentations about using your Apple devices. The elevator or stairs can take you to the basement that has art pieces of the restoration of certain art work of the property and bathrooms. (Bathroom has FREE tampons for you ladies) Negative Experience: The Apple Security Guard and one Apple Employee who was about to clock out was quite rude. There was a line for the restroom on the basement floor and one Apple employee made a remark saying "Y'all came to an Apple Store just to piss". It may sound humorous but at the same time it was unprofessional and the tone he said it was disrespectful. The security guard demeanor with customers seemed mean and uncalled for. Sadly, every Apple Store is like a hit or miss. I remember not too long ago, I've always thought the Apple Store had the best customer service but times have definitely changed for the worst. Many of the workers just chitchat and some don't even care since they're getting paid by the hour. Verdict: Definitely a great place to visit! It's a historical landmark and one of the best looking Apple Stores. The cons are parking and the service we've experienced today. Beautiful Apple Store location. However the staff is a bit meh for me. I feel like they are all really sales driven and don't really care about the experience. I went here to replace my airpods because they had a damaged defect replacement program and I missed the mark by about 4 months and they were not able to help me. I am a loyal ass client of apple I have every product you can name aside from the HomePod and Apple TV box. I can't believe they couldn't help me replace my damaged / defunct AirPod pros.
