I recently traveled abroad to some remote tropical places and returned home feeling very unwell. I…read moredidn't think my situation necessarily warranted an emergency room visit, but I wanted to be evaluated and tested quickly for mosquito-borne viruses in case intervention was needed. I very rarely use urgent care facilities, so when I needed one, I turned to Yelp and was pleased with the overall reviews of All Valley Urgent Care. I called ahead and confirmed they could accept me as a walk in right away. I visited All Valley on a late Friday afternoon and was seen by a Physician Assistant within 30 minutes of my arrival. The PA listened to my breathing, checked my ears, nose, and throat, and told me they might have heard fluid in my lungs justifying a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia in addition to standard rapid testing for flu and Covid. I knew I didn't have the flu or Covid based on my symptoms, but I didn't know about pneumonia so I agreed. They did the chest X-ray on site and all three tests returned negative. The PA told me they would send a prescription to my pharmacy for a basic albuterol inhaler to help me with my breathing and that they would also send lab orders to Quest Diagnostics for me to have my blood drawn to test for viruses the next day. The PA didn't know what blood tests to request, so the PA said they would do some research. I left the facility without any real answers. So now for the review. On the positive side, the PA was nice and even though it was clear the PA didn't have confidence in their knowledge about what tests to order for given my situation, I'll give them a pass on that because my circumstances were certainly not very common. I also give the PA credit for knowing and admitting when they needed to do research. The nurse/x-ray tech was also very nice and the facility is new and clean. On the negative side: 1. Upon checking out, I specifically asked the front desk staff if they would be sending my prescription to the pharmacy I requested. She viewed her computer and said "yes" before giving me a dismissive look. Nevertheless, the prescription for the albuterol inhaler was never sent to my pharmacy. When I called All Valley back a few days later, I was told that they couldn't find any notation in my chart indicating I was given a prescription. I was also told the PA I saw was not working that day, and that the current provider on duty wouldn't issue the prescription without evaluating me personally. The only option I was given was to come in for a new evaluation. My case was somewhat unusual and recent, so I knew the PA would remember me... I therefore asked All Valley to call the PA at home and they refused. So just to reiterate... All Valley wanted me to pay for a new visit and spend the time to come in and be reevaluated by a new provider just to fix their prescription mistake, they refused to call the PA to get the OK to send the original prescription, and all of this drama and resistance was over a basic albuterol inhaler, not some type of dangerous or highly restrictive drug. 2. The lab order the PA sent to Quest Diagnostic was insufficient to cover the possible mosquito-borne viruses present in the regions to which I traveled. Even the Quest Diagnostics staff knew this but they couldn't change the order. So, I had to reach out to my primary care doctor who sent me back to Quest Diagnostics a second time with new lab orders for much more extensive bloodwork. 3. The front office person on duty during my visit was a bit on the cold/curt side, but not unprofessional. 4. I was feeling awful when I arrived at All Valley, and I wanted to check in as quick as possible using regular paper forms. Despite this, I was directed to use a QR code posted at the front desk and to use my mobile phone to do everything including completing the medical questionnaire and taking images of my insurance card while seated in the lobby. As you might imagine, typing lots of information using my thumbs on a small phone keypad is not fun to do when you feel terrible. It is important to note, I was the only person in the waiting room during my visit and there were three workers at the front desk just chatting with each other who could have easily helped me. 5. Before I left All Valley, the PA told me he would add me to the call back list and someone would call me to check in on me the next day to see how my symptoms were progressing. That would have been a very nice touch, but no one ever called. 6. When I called several days later to discuss the prescription issue, I was simply told to return to the clinic to be evaluated again by the on-duty provider. That insistence, combined with having a chest X-ray I doubt I really needed given my symptoms, certainly makes me question whether billing is the priority. I am disappointed. This facility can do better and I won't return. Fortunately I can rely on my primary care physician to take it from here.

Dr was great! Wasn't intimidated at all by my sons condition and the appointment was so quick and easy! I will be recommending to everyone I know and I will definitely be returning. I even told my husband if we need we will pay out of pocket and go here vs dealing with Kaiser urgent cares moving forward. I couldn't be happier with our experience!

The wait time was reasonable and the check-in process was amazing. The lady at the desk was a little too snarky for my taste, but the phone check-in was easy to complete! I uploaded my information over the phone in less than 7 mins, it beats writing everything down! The doctor was kind, he seemed a little awkward at first but he was nice. I got a toradol shot per his recommendation and it definitely helped during my first night of recovery. The MA's and CNA's are always super kind, I love their bedside manner and customer service. My prescriptions were sent immediately to my pharmacy and without issue! Overall, I like Alliance! Could the chairs need a revamp or replacement? Yes! However, I'm comfortable here, and it's a reliable clinic, so I'm willing to put up with the damaged furniture.

They talk about their patients and their conditions in front of other patients and have inappropriate conversation out loud. Unfortunately for me, I experienced the same incompetence from this PA. After my visit, I found myself arguing with the front desk nurse over errors on my doctors note. The delay in correct diagnosis caused a lot of stress. I'm also very concerned that they prescribed a specialized Paxlovid for people with kidney problems and she had a hard time to get --if it was truly needed, it was very hard to obtain, and she doesn't even have renal problems. Just spent 4 days at HGC. RNs and floor staff great. Hospital filthy. Food disgusting!!! I was…read morerunning 103+ fevers and when those break I would soak my clothes and bedding - not once in 4 days did anyone offer change my sheets or clean the room. I had to ask (remind) them to change my bedding and keep giving me new pillow cases. No one offered to help me take a shower or bathe myself. Not that I would take a shower there... my Bathroom was disgusting - floors were filthy. Hair in the shower drain and in shower floor. But the fact that no one offered to? Toilet leaked. Sticky gross stuff on bedside table. I had to clean that I have no idea what it was. But having said all that again my nurses were amazing and this is NOT their fault they are not the janitors!!! They kicked my infection in a few days so I'm grateful for that. They were sweet and kind and funny. The second ER Intake room was small maybe 15 chairs (hard plastic chairs that I had to sit on for 7 hours until they had a bed ready upstairs) and there were 11 of us crammed in there - so hippa laws went right out the window - I knew everyone's situation and financial issues and everyone knew mine! Two men working in there didn't wear gloves while attaching iv tubes to the drips or while doing EKGs. Everytime the AC came on I would start having coughing fits. My roommate noticed said ya know Bea everytime the ac comes on you start coughing. Hmmm?? My first blood cultures were contaminated (with staff) Gee wonder why???? and they had to redo them. Drs were arrogant and pushy. They wanted me to stay 2 more days (that's the soonest the urologist could do it) and have surgery to blast a kidney stone they said was causing the infection. That kidney stone has been there for 30+ years never changed location or size or caused me any issues. And hell no was having surgery there. I'll find another surgeon not affiliated with this hospital and get second opinion. So again grateful that they were able to get me better but honestly I didn't feel safe there I felt like I was surrounded by filth and dirt. Other issues too but I'm running out of room lol be ware when going there. Others have shared same stories with me. I'm new to hemet so I had no idea. I'll go to Murrieta ER next time!!
