Found Apple Valley Appliance on Yelp looking for someone that could fix my dryer that was no longer getting hot and eventually stopped coming on all together. Called the company around 9 in the morning and left a message. Less than ten minutes Rick returned my call. I told him what was going on and over the phone he knew why it wasn't starting (door trigger broke off). He gave me a timeframe that he would be there and did arrive within the time I was given. In less then a minute he knew what the dryer wasn't getting hot and gave me a decent price to fix things. Since he was here I asked him if he could fix a piece that came off the washer and he did. We had an appointment and they didn't show up. We called and they said they lost our information. We set up a second appointment and they did not show up. They said that the person who services our area was no longer available. They also gave us a different price each time we spoke to them. I called Rick because my double oven after using the self-clean mode, blew Safety Thermal fuse. I turned this issue into my insurance and they set me up with another appliance co. After talking to that appliance co, I did not want to use them as they were going to take at least 2 wks to repair. I asked insurance co, if I could use Rick, and they agreed I could. I called Rick, and he came the next day, and on time! He also know the issue with my oven, and came with the parts to repair it. It was up and running within about an hour plus. Then he kindly called my insurance company (he didn't have to) because of a miscommunication with them, as he was not under the insurance service network...Now I will be reimbursed for his work by my insurance co... I will not only use Rick again, should I need a repair, I will be recommending him to whomever I hear needs appliance repair. He was fast, neat, and so very knowledgeable.
