I called a friend to get a recommendation for an auto repair shop. He referred me to Apple Valley Car Clinic. I called them this morning and they told me to bring in my truck. I had an anti-freeze leak. They pressurized my cooling system and diagnosed that my water pump had a small leak. They obtained the part ASAP and fixed my truck immediately. They replaced the water pump, thermostat, the serpentine belts, and some hoses. I agreed to their estimated quote and when I went in to pay the actual invoice was about $150 less than their original quote. At no cost to me they even did some extra work for me. Just took my car here for the first time, very professional and helpful staff. They were upfront and honest with me the entire time, and were very respectful to me, who is a DIY person at heart, but know when I need a professional mechanic! Independent, family owned and operated shop. When they told me all the additional things I needed done on my Honda, Justin was very low pressure and gave good honest rationale on his recommendations. First time was alright, got the oil change and air filter replaced. One guy at the front desk kept trying to talk to me while I was waiting and didn't seem to take the hint that I preferred to read my book while waiting instead. I get the customer service aspect of it, but there's a line between courtesy and unwanted persistence. What does asking where I live have to do with an oil change when my information is already on file? Fast forward to three weeks after the oil change, and suddenly my car is leaking oil. We bring it back and they take a look, citing wear and tear on the oil pan with a $500 replacement estimate. The same guy from before offers to take us back to the garage to take a look, we decline. He then looks directly at me and asks the exact same question, again we decline. All sorts of red flags are popping up for us and we decide to leave ASAP and that's where we are leaving it. read more

Had good service with them once before, nice folks. This time however, they cheated me by over $100. I needed a power steering pressure hose for my 2008 Chrysler T&C. Doug said I needed two hoses and quoted $348. The day it was fixed the mechanic said to me "when we got into it, turns out we only needed one hose" and he showed me the one they removed, a very long twisted hose with sections. After I paid and drove away I noticed that the price of $350 was same as quote for 2 hoses, so I investigated, called Chrysler dealership and found out that one hose costs $99. They charged me $190.59 for ONE HOSE! that's a 92.5% mark-up. Then I noticed that the parts and labor have a 1200 mile warranty one then, but the receipt has my mileage rolled back 610 miles!? I called the shop and was told Doug would call me back. So far he has not. read more

Today was my first time here. I chose this place upon reading reviews here on Yelp. Very friendly, informative on suggested maintenance but not pushy. Work was done very quickly. Prices are comparable. I did find out they are only open Mon-Fri, which for some might be tough, but they have loaners for your convenience, so really not a hindrance. I really liked this place and will now come back for anything more "Sassy" my Sonata needs. read more

Getting your car repaired sucks and is expensive no matter where you go, so if you are spending the money you want to make sure it's done right. These guys are less expensive than most competitors, but more importantly they do great work. I have been to them a few times. They don't try to sell you on work that doesn't need to be done. You will get a straight opinion on whether something needs to be done now or can wait. Unlike a lot of shops, they don't treat you like you are stupid and are very friendly. Their quality guarantee makes it pretty easy to do business with them. If something still doesn't feel right, they will look it over at no cost and no hassle: Good family owned business. read more

This place is a joke. I dropped my keys and car off after hours. I had a battery to be installed and needed a door fixed. It frooze up from rust. The next day, I picked up my car. $175 in labor for less than an hours work. They had lubed the door mechanisms. The tech said to bring it back if I wanted them to order new parts so the door would lock. Since when do you pay for an estimate. Would you like your door to lock or not lock? read more
