Hello everyone, I bought a certified preowned 2020 silverado with warranties from CMA in 2023 and everything seemed good until I sideswiped a cow and insurance went to fix it and found prior damage to the frame (see pictures below). Since the insurance and mechanic deemed it prior damage, insurance wouldn't cover it. So I spoke to CMA thinking they would take care of me but I was wrong. The best they could do was trade it in at its current value after I get the cow damage gets fixed, keeping the frame damage. To me and my family that is far from fair as I paid top dollar for an unsafe vehicle that shouldn't have been sold in the first place. Now I am going through consumer protection to try to get a fair deal. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!!! read more

This is my Toyota RAV4 story. On 31 Oct 2019 I was traveling in my 2017 RAV4 Hybrid SE on HWY 66 east in Virginia at 70 mph when a deer ran in front of my vehicle. I hit it head on as their was no time to react. The car was totaled but I survived without a scratch. See pics. I now trust Toyota more than ever for its survivability as I am a survivor. The exterior looks horrible but the interior was mint besides all the airbags deploying. I was not burned or bruised from the air bags deploying and felt little if any of the impact. Insurance is great as the vehicle was replaced and thanks to Toyota, I still walk this earth. The new 2020 RAV4 Hybrid XSE I wanted, gray, was hard to find and the right dealer was almost as hard to find. My local trusted dealer who I have bought Toyota's from since 2007 went rouge. See my comments Malloy Toyota, Winchester, VA. Since I could no longer trust them I went to Apple Valley Toyota in Martinsburg, WV. MY experience there was 180 degrees from my experience at Malloy. Apple Valley is a different culture of professional and honest sales force. They accepted my almost impossible challenge and found my hard to find vehicle within 7 days. My car buying journey again became enjoyable and not a horror show. I give special thanks to Nathan Dodson. He is a good honest man who see things through. The rest of the Apple Valley team also gained my trust as they showed true integrity. Thanks also goes out to the Apple Valley Sales and Finance managers who it was my pleasure to meet as they took good care of me. As I travel 6 hours a day, everyday I know that I will continue to drive a reliable and safe car. Got a brand new car,On 81 north bound, Car started to over heat,Blow Rataor,Stuck broke down, Took out bumper to bumper warranty,Said it was my fault.No true,My insurance company said, this has happened to 4 times and that Toyota was responsible. Caring, friendly staff, that's are doing their best. We hit some debris on the highway, 3 hours from home and had to come to this random Toyota and asked them to give our car a look. They said they had cars on their lot for 2 days they had yet to look at and couldn't help us, after explaining we had to be 800 miles away in 24 hours they were able to squeeze us in and really tried everything they could to get us in and out and safely back on the road. I originally bought two vehicles back in 2021 when they were Apple Valley. CMA bought out Apple Valley. Now all the oil changes and free inspections that were in my contracts are no longer being honored. They gave no warning or noticed. I was charged over $100 for an oil change. They are no longer honoring any of the old agreements leaving the original customers neglected. Horrible takeover. I will not do business with them any further. read more

while traveling south on route 81, our car suddenly began running rough. we stopped at the next exit and called the nearest Toyota dealership to see if we could stop in and have our vehicle checked. after a phone call, they told us yes, stop in. we did and fortunately they were able to have a mechanic check out our vehicle and identify that we needed a new ignition coil, which fortunately they had one in stock. they kept us up to date with what was going on and several hours later, we were back on our way. When I ask to speak to a supervisor the guy, "Erik Berrois" said he was the supervisor and then I asked for a manager then he went and got the sales manager and stated he wasn't the actual supervisor. Just stepping up today. I asked why he lied about his title and he stated he didn't. read more

Was in the market for a new Tacoma, we looked at two other dealers in Hagerstown and Winchester. Since we've always had great service from Miller in Winchester and service has always done great at Martinsburg we went there for the purchase. Working with Mark Rivas was great. He was very knowledgeable about the product and generally had a good personality, high pressure didn't seem to exist with him which was nice. Overall the entire sales and finance staff were great, and like our new CRV purchase from Miller in Winchester, the experience was enjoyable (except the lightening of the bank part). With our past experience with their service department, we look forward to doing business with them for hopefully many years to come. read more

In 2008 my wife and I bought a Camry and a Carolla from Apple Valley. Bobby Budzyn was our salesman. He did such a great job that after putting 333333 miles on my Camry I went back to him for another car. I am so impressed with his professionalism, his work effort and his sincerity that I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new car! He took great care if me and treated me as if I was the most important person to him even though he had two other people he was helping at the same time!!!! Service is good but sales is dreadful. Made the mistake of buying a new Tundra CrewMax here. After going back and forth on price I agreed to purchase the truck. Unfortunately, they didn't honor the price that was quoted for truck or trade in. Pretty sleazy. We'll be buying another new car shortly and it will be elsewhere. Karma sucks.. read more

I bought a vehicle from them a few months ago. Basically let me just say I've been having issues with them since then. Now I have to take my car to a different dealership to get fixed. Also they did a "multi-point inspection" and failed to check my battery which died a couple days later. I called them up and they said basically it was because of the cold. It was 48 degrees. I emailed the general manager over a week ago. He still hasn't answered me. Basically they don't give a crap about you after you give them money. read more

Went to Auto Zone with a check engine light and a 'free' diagnosis said my car was running lean. Had it serviced at your location 12/28/17 informing them of my diagnosis. I was asked to pay $120.00 for a diagnosis saying it will tell them what needs repaired. $157.00 later I still have the check engine light on and no clear results from the diagnosis. To me the definition of diagnosis at the dealer means problem identified. If not why charged $120.00? I knew as much at Auto Zone for free. read more

My husband and I met our son there. Initially, my son was looking at a 2013 dodge ram. The sales rep was initially not rude until our son wanted to have his grandfather come in during the purchase of the vehicle. The bald sales rep asked what difference it would make whether or not his grandfather came in. The sales rep was very rude. We left with a very bad experience. It's a shame we would have loved to continue buying vehicles there. read more

Always pleasant and friendly. I had just had my car washed the day before. They have in the past always asked if I wanted a wash. This time did not ask and did it anyway. Not very happy about that as your car wash just leaves water marks all over car. read more

Came here back when I had my Toyota a few years ago and had a computer malfunction causing the car to turn off while driving basically. They went in through under my glove box to fix the problem but once they replaced the computer and fixed my car they didn't even bother to close up the panel they took off from under the glove box. Glad I have different car now and won't have to come back to this place. read more

I've been trying to get a legitimate quote from true car for a Highlander Hybrid and this dealer shows up every single time with outrageously low quotes. For cars THEY DON"T HAVE. Which of course, conveniently nullifies the quote. Sorry, that's lame. It's just a ploy to suck up your contact info. I definitely won't be buying from them. Shady. read more

When we moved here a year ago this past September, we established a relationship with Apple Valley as we own a Toyota. I brought my car in last fall because the brakes were making an odd sound. I described the problem to the service representative (a very nice gentleman) and he said they would check them out. When I picked up my vehicle they told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. The service rep then proceeded to tell me that he also owned the same model SUV and that occasionally it made an odd sound and it was nothing to worry about. I brought the vehicle in on two additional occasions, once for an oil change and another time for misc preventative maintenance. Each time I brought up the brakes making noise and each time I was given the same story. Today, we needed the car inspected and also asked for some general preventative maintenance. Imagine my surprise when they called my husband and told him that we needed a complete brake job, pads, rotors, etc. due to rust on the inside of the rotors. I don't doubt that this was true, but I feel very let down that the situation wasn't caught earlier and corrected when it might have cost me much less. I feel at the very least, I should not have had to pay full price for the service because if they had done their jobs correctly in the first place, the damage would have not been so severe. read more

I was in the market for a pre-owned Tacoma for my son. This dealer had a truck I wanted. I made contact with no response all day. I had to call back. They were firm on the price-saying there was "no room" to negotiate. I do my homework and knew there was room. I was willing to come up-but would not budge. Without any effort on their part I discovered on my own that they dropped the price 5 days later by $1700. Had they sold it to me before this they would have gotten an extra thousand from me. I called and said I wanted the truck, but they do not hold vehicles. It was Christmas time so timing was difficult. My son went to purchase it, having checked the night before that it was still there, on 12-24-19. He got there and it had been sold the night before. Then no real effort to work with him after driving nearly 3 hours. He waited to talk to the initial sales person for 45 minutes after he said it would only be a a few minutes. He left. I called and spoke to a manager-Jeremy Jenkins. Don't waste your time with this guy. Never once did he acknowledge that this was not handled well. Excuses and justifications. I had enough when he accused my son of being a liar, claiming he was not even there in total for 30 minutes. He then complained that he showed up unannounced as he wasn't planning to come until the 26th--what difference does that make. Jeremy assured me he would counter with his version as to anything I wrote. I am sure he will. Oh-and my son now has a new 2020 Tacoma purchased from Shelor in Christiansburg, and he paid about $2000 more than had we bought the used 2017. read more

Was looking for a reliable car for commuting to and from work. I went on there website and found a nice chevy equinox 95000 miles 2011 great looking car and good price that wasn't the issue. the salesman was nice and helped me but i was told the car was just serviced before i came to look at it. the car drove nice i decided to purchase no issues there. after two months of me driving it it started to act funny. come to find out after weeks of trying to figure out what was wrong i finally decided to take it to my chevy dealer near my house whoever worked on car at apple valley put in the wrong spark plugs and messed up my car causing all these issues. i called them and left a message with the service department still to this day no call has been made to me. and i was out 600 bucks for an issue they caused. read more

I bought a car on 10/8 and still have not received the title. I kept calling about this and was told it should be there soon. I found out that they did not submit my title paperwork until 11/29. I still do not have the title and my temporary tags have expired. They have told me they cannot do anything for me and now the manager is not returning my calls. I purchased my car from them and have experienced five years of the WORST customer service. They are never able to schedule service appointments until WEEKS after you call, yet their mailed promotional fliers offer service deals and encourage walk-ins. If you're so busy, why are you trying to get more business than you can handle? Don't even try to get your car serviced there without an appointment! And when you call, don't mention that you have a recall notice because they send you from voicemail to voicemail (as they did to me today) and claim their service reps are SO BUSY. I was told I could leave a message and someone would get back to me--I've been down that road before and calls are NOT returned! I was considering upgrading to a Prius because I do actually like my Yaris, but after today I'm headed to Ford for a Fusion. read more

I recently purchased a certified Toyota with Apple Valley. After searching in the area for the perfect Rav4 for me, I was so excited to find one close to home. Since my purchase ( 2 1/2 weeks ago) I have been in the service department five times. The service light came on indicating a problem, and it appears this problem is yet to be solved as well as now I have discovered a small oil leak. I am frustrated and disappointed that I not only would be sold a car that was not in the pristine condition as promised by the fact that the car is certified, but that I now have little faith in this business and service department to take care of my future needs. I have been inconvenienced, stressed and disappointed. I would not recommend my friends or family working with Apple Valley Toyota, I know I regret my decision! read more

Go here if you'd like your car to break down the next day. The battery light in my car came on and I took it the Apple Valley Toyota. Although I did not have to make an appointment I had to wait about an hour for my car to be looked at. Once they looked at it they said my battery was about 75% charged and they would charge it for me and recommended that I take it to get a slow charge whenever I had free time. My battery light came on again almost immediately after. I was under the impression it was nothing serious and they were about to close so i did not take it back that night. The next morning I went to take my car out and my brake light came on and they started to look so I pulled over. When I tried to restart my car it wouldn't start. My alternator had died and apple valley failed to check it. I had to get my car towed and pay for it to be fixed. When I contacted apple valley they made no efforts to rectify the situation. I used to get hounded with survey emails with what seemed like almost every day, even after I completed the survey, and I never received one after I called and complained. read more
