I'm not a big fan of this Apple Store location, it is located in White City, London, while a useful brand to have within Westfield London (A HUGE shopping mall!), this store does feel a little scaled back compared to other physical Apple location in the city, even for a mall location. As always, there is a good selection of Apple merchandise to browse and demo from the iPhone to the iPad, from Macbooks to the Apple Watch and the staff seemed friendly enough. There isn't a visible large screen / Today at Apple section, which you'd find in other larger Apple stores. Appointment availability was adequate, but this did seem one of the more difficult branches in the city to get an appointment, I'm not sure if it is because of staffing levels or the location. PRO TIP: There is an Express Pick Up location downstairs if you're picking up an online order, so make sure you have ordered your items into the right place. 3* read more

The shop has through quite few refurbishments due the large scale expansion of Westfield's business, But overall, this has not affected Apple's reputation for outclassing anything that is trying to get in its way. The shop front has plenty of potential and a whole new range of new products as per usual. such rude staff! one of the male staff there was being super rude towards me and my friend when we were lining up to look at the I phone 16s, it was such a throw off at the store! he told us not to be rude when we said we were looking at the phones like? so rude towards the customers with where they should go in and being incredibly impatient! the line up was super poor as they did not make anything clear with what side can have a look at the phones and what ones are going to buy the phone! it was such a bad system! such rude male staff which made me not like Apple much as I used to! not even sure how he got the job in the first place, would love to know who his name was so I can tell everyone here to watch out and avoid that perosn he was incredibly rude towards a lot of people there! read more

Apple White City used to be a good store. This is no longer the case. They've acknowledged the issues they've caused and without me asking, offered my a discount on the repair, to withdrew it 3 days later. I had Apple Retails Executive Relations on the phone today, they acknowledge the problems have no authority over the White City Store. In other words, no one takes responsibility at Apple. I can't say I have Gina's experience (four continents!) but I've been to at least a dozen Apple stores in the US and the UK. They're all very consistent and with a few exceptions (Regent Street), it's just a retail shop with iPods, iPads, iPhones, MacBooks and Mac desktops all on tables for people to touch and feel, as well as a Genius bar for support. This stuff is all extremely expensive and if you're looking to buy, then I would consider looking elsewhere. If, however, you're looking to take it for a spin, you will not find a better opportunity to touch, try and ask questions. As for accessories, watch your wallet. The "official" Apple iPhone headphones can be had new on eBay for a quarter the price. read more

Came to fix a broken screen. Apple charges a whooping £360 for the pleasure. You'd think that for that you'll get a half-decent service at least. No, first I was told it would take around an hour. Then 2h20, it actually took 3. When I complained the "leader" waved it off and didn't even apologise. They just don't care, they know they have a great phone and if you don't like the service you can buxxxr off. Android here we come! read more

Awful experience. I will not mention as main red flag the worn uniforms and the lack of smiles and good vibe. I will just mention one if the floor staff saying that the scanner is not working and will introduce the serial manually, and of course, we can not trade in your impeccable iPhone 12 pro max yet we can recycle for free. When confronted just refused to give his name(no name tag on uniform) and run away, literally. One of his colleagues ask him to return yet the guy refused and even increased the voice a bit toward his colleague. Another 4 members of staff demonstrated strange behaviour. No one was willing to give their name even was just a polite question after I have give my name, and only few had the name tag on them. Very bad vibe, most of the staff acting like "i hate this job and I hate the customers" way. UGH, what's the big deal? It's the Apple store, I've seen enough in the US and they are not as packed as they are here! It's so hard to find someone to help you!! They're always busy with someone. After i finally asked if they had more chargers in the back (storage?) as they were all out in the front, the girl said she would get someone to bring it up, i waited 15 mins...then she realized i was still waiting so she was like "ohh, it's here, follow me". Thanks for not telling me that i should wait for the stocking guy at the shelve and not where she was.... Wasted my time. At least the charger is the same price as US price, that's a perk. And, the cash registers have no sign over it, whatsoever...i didn't even realize where you pay...it's just a wooden table with a buncha people behind it in the middle of the shop, BUT the table is much thinner than all the rest. read more

Booking was easy. But the gentleman "G"... As is with anyone that is rude to me, I automatically assume you had a pretty awful day or week or even month and it just topples over and you're just being rude because you're fed up with X, Y or Z going on in your private and/or professional life. I don't take it personally and wish you that things in your life go smoother, so that you'll feel happier or better. Then towards the end of our interaction, I thought oh- maybe this is a culture shock, maybe you were raised in a culture where this is how you deal with people. But then I thought to myself... I've been in the UK for over 5 years now... I don't think this relates to any culture or group of people I've seen around the UK least of all in client-facing positions. Then I spoke to a friend and explained the situation and she said "oh, no. Apple customer service in the store is really terrible because they are understaffed, overworked and underpaid". So maybe that's it! You were taking out your discontent with the company on the customers. In which case, it kind of worked because it made me really want to purchase products from another manufacturer. Don't worry, I was already considering this before we met, but our interaction definitely moved the needle quite a bit. I've been a customer of this store maybe 4 times and I've had 3 bad experiences. I love Apple but this store's team members has a bad case of apathy and poor attitude. You guys need a pep talk! Worst customer service ever I took my old IPOD for repair to replace the battery - pretty simple job First you need to come in to make an appointment and then you have to come back 3 - 5 days later for the acrtual repair appointment (why do you have to come in twice?). The appointment slot was confirmed by email. During the appointment - a staff member took down my details and said it would be 5 business days to get the part in and i would get a call. I was allocated a repair number but I did not receive any email to confirm that the repair was in the system. 8 business days later - no call / no email from Apple. I rang the store and they cannot find my details. Finally - they found it and they said that it would take again 5 business days to come in. 8 business days later again nothing from Applie - I rang and again they cannot find any details (neither by last name, telephone number or email). The westfield apple store repair service is completely disorganised. A company of the size of Apple should be able to confirm these repairs by email, keep you up to date by email and find you in the system quickly by email / name or telephone number. Staff is completely disinterested - it is very clear that they are paid by the hour rather than by actually resolving customer issues. read more

So. My visit here was for a faulty Apple product as opposed to a purchase. And here's what I found - Great company policy and efficient way of dealing with problems, however many of the staff are unable to process some of the simpler tasks without having to constantly consult with floor manager level staff. No Apple store will ever get a five-star review from me ever. They are always way too crowded with way too little staff to deal with the loads of people. Earlier today, I called this Apple store to ask if they and a particular iPhone in stock. After 28 minutes on hold (which by the way, I'm not sure their queuing system works as the friendly woman would randomly tell me, "There are five calls ahead of you. There are three calls ahead of you. There are five calls ahead of you. There are four calls ahead of you. There are three calls ahead of you. There are five calls ahead of you."), I finally spoke to a human who informed me that they did have my desired phone in stock and then he told me to make a reservation online. A reservation? To buy a phone? Thinking reservations would be plenty, I went to reserve one only to find out that the next reservation was four days from today. And the only way to make a reservation was for Genius bar (the same type of reservation that is made by people who actually have problems with their devices and such) or a workshop. I chose Genius bar and hence the four-day out reservation availability. I then considered booking a reservation for a workshop because that type of reservation had availability for this evening but then I ultimately decided that I shouldn't need a reservation to buy a phone. I just needed to go to the store, ask someone to fetch it for me, and then pay for it. And that's what I did. I walked in and was able to spot the 50 or so employees dressed in blue t-shirts. I found one who was not busy. I asked for a phone. The phone was delivered to me and I paid. The total time from walking in the store to walking out of the store with my new phone was five minutes. I can honestly say i would never step foot back in that place nor will i be investing in another apple product if that's the service that comes with my purchase. the staff there from manager to minion have no use what so ever! whenever you go in with a complaint about a product, the first thing they do is blame you for the fault with the product, compare it to other display products as if they are being used to the same extent as yours and make their diagnoses based on that. After talking to you "the person spending your good money on their useless products" once they do test it and see there is a genuine fault with their products, they dont even have the decency to apoligise for being idiots and jumping to conclusions. My beloved Mac crashed on me exactly one week ago today. I did the right thing and made an appointment ASAP and walked in to this very Apple store to talk to a 'Genius' representative. I had contact with two employees, who both sounded like their puppy died earlier on that day, they looked so miserable. In other words the customer service (or lack thereof) that i received on the day was about a 1.5/10. (I'm even being a bit generous there). I was then told that the repair would take 3-5 days and that I would be 'contacted' with progress. This was verbally advised to me face-to-face and again in written/email form. 7 days later with no contact on their part. I am now up to my 4th phone call to the store. One on day 3, again on day 5 and today at day 7. And now they tell me it 'should' be ready by tomorrow. Let me stress a little more on this. I also reiterated to the staff there that I am a freelancer, all my work is on my Mac. Everyday I am without it, I loose out on work (money). Did I mention I am also in the middle of planning my wedding? That is all in there too! So I beg of you Sheperds Bush, Westfield LONDON Apple Store. Pull your head in. Been yesterday (working day) in the Regent Street store for a problem with my iphone (gone dead). When I walked in I noticed the neverending sea of staff blue t-shirts and I thought great someone will help me in no time. The ones who weren't busy with customers were having some great time chatting with each other and no one took notice of me standing for minutes in different areas trying to get someone attention. Eventually made my way at the top floor and went to a sort of reception, from there I was passed over three times until someone was asked to look after me - a girl who was busy chirpingly chatting with her colleague. When she started talking with me she became stone faced, apathic and robotic in the way she talked. She didn't seem to have any enthusiasm in helping and she barely attempt to say something that sounded vaguely empathic when informing her I was so stressed out for having lost all my datas and the use of the phone. We logged in various time to see if other stores had any slot at the genius bar, as no one available in the one I was, we finally find one and she wasn't able to tell me how distant it was and what was the quickest way to get there. So she slowly suggested to go online and time the journey on tfl, by the time we did, went back and logged again into the store booking system, and the available slot was gone. She didn't even mention that I could wait for a cancellation slot in store, she didn't even say she was sorry we couldn't find an immediate solution and I had to come back home with a 5 days waiting time for my next appointment. Promptness, self-initiative, empathy, enthusiasm.....were are these fundamental qualities in customer service gone??????? And it wasn't even the weekend. Congratulations apple on employing the best salesman yet in this store. He was kind, patient, knowledgable. I made enquiries about other products while purchasing a cover for my latest iPad. Yes it was crowded but I felt important to the salesman. I have been to the Genius Bar on a number of occasions and I have to say this is the first time I haven't felt a fool asking what might seem simple questions. Every question I asked was treated with real importance. He showed concern for my understanding without talking down to me. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products. I shall certainly make a point of targeting this young man for any more information I want before I make a purchase. I was surprised he wasn't a genius employee. Well done white city for employing a young man with the right skills and knowledge but most important the right attitude towards the customer. I have been in West Field Apple Store with appointment for my IPhone 6 which have and had battery expansion and handset problem that cause me numbness and cramp in my fingers and arm and tonsils and mouth , they Chines boy named Adam who was serving me did not care at all and laughed at me , without checking my iPhone which was dead battery front of me said : As we checked your iphone has not problem at all and he did not let me to explain what really I want just repeat what he want , even when I told him that my battery was expand in the size too much which back of my iphone lead was completely bend and closed to opened which was very dangerous and I had to go to nearest shop in other country where I was on that time to fix it immediately , he told me that we never had such problem with anyone .
