Went to the Apple in Willowbrook Mall for an appointment to fix our phone. We arrived few minutes early but the associate checked us in right away. After a few minutes, a specialist came and ran diagnostic on the phone. They determined it needed a hardware repair for the camera. We got a 2 hour window to come back and pick up the phone. We came about 2 hours later and the phone was ready for pick up. The camera blur issue was fully fixed. While the diagnostic took place I wandered around the store. It has all Apple products on display, excellent inventory. The associates are very friendly, constantly asking customers if they need assistance. I also saw an associate doing an open session for doing drawings with Apple Pencil. I was really impressed with this store.

Came to fix my iPhone camera. Had an appointment but still waited for a while. They book customers every 15mins. It's not surprising that there's a delay. Staff were nice. Told me to come back and pick up the phone in 2 hours. It was ready by the time I went back.

This wasn't quite as packed as another Apple Store I popped into earlier that day, but service still was slower and trying to find someone to check me in wasn't the easiest thing. They didn't have someone standing there checking everyone in and I hunted an associate down. Once I was being helped, there was no sense of patience and get me out the door mentality with the device that I was picking up didn't really give me any comfort that this was the right place to get help or service. I didn't even give me the box for the phone I was getting replaced. And unlike the Short Hills Mall Apple Store, there wasn't a space for kids to play so a lot of them were bored and just walking around the whole store instead of being focused in one area.

This place takes on way more than it can handle. Was told phone would be ready in an hour. We decided to stay at the mall instead of run other errands since it was only an hour. Now I understand things come up and take longer than expected but not 3 hours when u said 1 hour. They ended up giving a new phone instead of fixing the old one since there was a hardware issue. Which is what should have been done as soon as I walked in instead of wasting a whole afternoon. Stop making so many variations of the same phone and you won't have 100 people standing around clueless as to what they want. Also parents you need to watch your terrible children! It's not a Chucky Cheese so please don't treat it like one. One bright spot was one of the reps that helped us named Sequioa.. She was direct, quick, and very helpful.

Just an idea of how well I was serviced! (Smiles)

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT - PC RICHARDS I am posting this…read moreeverywhere because people deserve to know how PC Richards actually operates. About 2 1/2 years ago, I purchased a dryer from PC Richards along with their service agreement. 8 months ago, my dryer stopped drying clothes. They replaced the motherboard. While it temporarily helped, the dryer never truly worked correctly afterward. November 29 - dryer completely lost heat. Service appointment scheduled for December 5. The technician arrived, spent minutes with a flashlight and screwdriver, checked for an error code, and immediately declared, "It's the motherboard again." No real evaluation. No disassembly. December 8 - I received an email stating the part was ordered. By December 13 - no call, no appointment. When I contacted the service department, I was told the part order had been canceled in the notes without notifying me. Their "solution" was a $75 voucher and reordering the part. Important detail: That voucher was later canceled. December 20 - a new technician arrived. The motherboard was NOT the issue. Dryer still didn't work. He admitted the previous tech should have ordered sensors-- only to find out this part is normally stocked on their trucks..but that tech left without replacing and stated they need to be ordered. December 24 (Christmas Eve) - sensors installed. Still not fixed. Thankfully, my husband (an HVAC technician) was home and insisted they actually take the dryer apart instead of blindly chasing error codes. Final diagnosis: The motor was burned out the entire time. Once replaced in January, the dryer worked perfectly. The real issue: * No proper diagnostics * No accountability * Managers hiding behind "protocol" * Techs trained to look only for codes instead of evaluating the appliance * Complete disregard for the customer's time I had to take off EIGHT DAYS OF WORK, yet PC Richards considers this "one occurrence" because they label it "evaluation then repair." Convenient for them. Costly for me. This is no longer the family business it once was. It's a company that sends undertrained technicians, wastes customers' time, cancels promised resolutions, and takes zero responsibility. I will never do business with PC Richards again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before purchasing appliances or service agreements from them. People deserve better. Fuck you, PC Richards.

There are several of these throughout the mall at Willowbrook. A couple kiosks and a couple of storefronts, I guess to maximize their business, but I was a bit annoyed when they started giving me the run around saying that maybe other locations had what I needed or could help me better. I went from the first shop to the kiosk back to the shop and then they asked that I go to the other storefront store. They didn't want to call the other stores which was odd, but I guess they wanted me to show them my device. They did a very good job replacing my lens and I think the model of these stores is to fix the ever present cracked screens that plagues us smartphone users these days. Anything beyond that though I'd seek out a more well equipped shop. It's nice to drop your phone off and shop for a bit which I think is the pitch here.

Though I have some web design background myself, the scope here was well beyond what I could take on alone. It called for a large number of complex modules, custom plugins built from the ground up, and at its core, a fully dynamic social media style website with an integrated shopping portal that users could manage themselves. The SystMD team handled every challenge that came their way, even as the requirements continued to shift and evolve. The professionalism shown by the owner was something I genuinely appreciated. He treated this project with the same level of care he would give his own work. Communication was open throughout, and I always had a clear picture of where things stood. They kept me informed at every stage. It felt like a personal partnership backed by serious expertise. Even as one of many projects on their plate, the team gave this one real attention. Nothing felt like it was being rushed through.
