Your normal Applebee's ... You have had better, you have had worse. At least you know what to expect.

Ok I love their 2 for $25 specials. The 4 cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders is delicious. I get this everything and always end up having leftovers for lunch the next day. They have amazing deals that a lot of restaurants don't always have and the food is delicious. read more

Carside to go is always the worst. I arrive when they say my order should be ready and typically wait at least 20 min before someone will acknowledge I'm there. Followed by waiting another 10 min to get my bill and food. Meanwhile you can see your Carside person just hanging out in their little station. And I'm staring at the sign that says parking in the Carside to go spot has a 10 min limit. So that's 30 min past the ready time before I receive my food. Can you imagine the quality of the food after sitting for 30 min. It's awful. Get better Applebee's!!! read more

The 2 for $20 deal is great! They offer a good selection of beers, including Bell's Two Hearted. I love the tabletop tablets that allow for reorder of drinks and appetizers, as well as paying directly vs having a server take your card from sight. I recently had a food quality issue and was promptly contacted by the day shift kitchen manager to speak to me about it. She assured me it would be addressed with the kitchen staff, as well as the wait staff. She also promised me a gift certificate since that particular meal was a bust...but she forgot to send it. read more

Second time I have been here in the past month. Last time the hostess was friendly and helpful. This time it was an old lady whom was cold and rude. I ordered my meal to go. This old lady wanted me to go across and in back of the place to place my order. I am handicapped and have a hard time walking. Also the handicap parking was on the side I entered and not the other. Was not a problem before when I had an order to go but this lady was making it a big issue and was not going to be of any help so had to talk with the manager. He of course was helpful but that woman sort of ruined my visit. It took some time for the food to get ready but that was ok since I was not in a hurry. Got it home and it did smell good BUT the ribs were like they had been cooked and reheated and I swear mine are tens times better than what they gave me. The fries were not as good as they use to be but the broccoli was good. This place use to be the greatest but now if I had a choice to go to McDonalds or AppleBees I may pick McDonalds... MAY... do not like either now. read more

In one word " horrible" . We were sat down in a reasonable period of time. About 35 minutes later the hostess asked us for a drink order, she was too young to bring anything from the bar, which is understandable. But another 40 minutes later a very unprofessional waitress attempted to take our order. She was quite hard to understand as well, due to the large piercing of her tongue. She was not dressed properly either. Then we didn't see her again for another half hour, my husband had to ask a different server to get him a drink. Then when our server finally showed back up, it was VERY clear she was too busy on a smoke break, but attempted to claim she was fixing an issue in the back. Food was as if any Applebee's so good but without even adequate customer service, it really didn't matter how good the food was. Sorry Belleville your Applebee's is horrible. We are a family of 4 that frequent Applebee's. But we won't be visiting this one again. I and the 2 teenagers were picking up my husband from work down the road, we will drive somewhere else next time. read more

Worst customer service ever from a restaurant! My daughter and I ordered curb side pick up. Had a great lady answer the call to take our order! Went picked up our order again great service! Drove home stupid I know we didnt check the order! Once home we check, food is very dry, some sort of tomato topping is on Sarah's dinner...which is the honey tenders mac n cheese. No tomato on that meal. Anyway and also no extra sauce for either meals as we know we need to order the extra because it is usually quite dry. I call to speak to someone at the restaurant to ask if I can come back and pick up some extra sauce.. Gabby, a very very rude female answers and just as i say hi, we just picked up our order, she interrupts me to say I'm sorry maam I'm dealing with another customer you will have to wait. Didnt even get to say why I was calling and her tone was very rude. On hold less then a minute and then was hung up on. Tried calling back several times to literally be hung up on. No hello or anything.. they literally picked up the phone and hung it back up. Sad part is...we just started going back to this restaurant after several months of avoiding it after Sarah ended up with food poisoning from there. We used to frequent this location for pick up multiple times a month. We will not be back. read more

I'm not surprised this place doesn't have 3+ review stars. I just called twice to place a pick-up order. Got no answer on the 1st call. The woman who answered hung up on me immediately on the 2nd call. It's Friday night after 8:30, so I guess it's horribly busy. Lots of stress. Fine. Ordered a chicken wrap to find out they put everything inside the wrap except for the chicken, poor customer service

Food is lousy! We have taken our mom out a number of times at this location & last night will be our last. Two of our three meals were sent back, ribs were so dried out, you could tell just by looking a them, the sirloin ended up in a napkin because you couldn't chew it & my oriental chicken salad had maybe two good bites of chicken on it. They have lost our business, you can only give them so much of your time & money. Only bright spot was Chelsea our waitress. read more

Might be the worst Applebee's I've ever been to. Food was meh. Drink was meh. Staff was worse. I ate at the bar and they seemed to struggle to keep up when they were only slightly busy. Maybe understaffed? I would skip it for literally anywhere else. read more

I went to Applebee's today and had some of the worst service I've ever had. The place wasn't busy but my server never had time to stop by. The whole time my server was running around trying to wait on tables while four employees hung-out by the entrance just talking. Every customer was only in one area, and top top of off my food was clearly sitting out for a while. read more

I understand we are all human and are not 100 percent everyday. With that being said the customer service I just experienced made me come to this app. First, I placed a call in order to Applebee's the wait was 5 mins before I could speak to a waitress. When the waitress did answer the phone after the 5 minutes, she answer very sleepy with low energy and seem unpleasant that I called. She asked me what vehicle I was driving? I told her I would come inside to pick it up my order.That was my first red flag. However, I still place my order of a simple burger with fries. The waitress told me it would be 15 minutes. I arrived promptly at 15 minutes inside to pick up my order. I sat at the bar for 5 minutes before the bartender asked me if I wanted a drink. I replied I called in my order so I did not need a drink or a menu. She said ok! Second red flag. From this point I waited an additional 12 minutes before I was asked again did I need anything. I told him I called in my order in and I was waiting for it. He replied that I needed to go over to the curbside and talk to the waitresses. But quickly said hold on a second I'll have one of them come over to you. I think he noticed I waiting a extended period of time. I waited additional four more minutes. Third red flag. No one ever came. If Applebee's check the list of people who came in around 6 PM they will notice that a ticket was not paid for. I simply walked out, without a meal and went to another restaurant. I went to Applebee's in Belleville yesterday around 5:00 p.m. with my daughter & 2 grandchildren, ages 4 and 18 months. We were seated in a mannerly way but that was it. We waited and waited for a server (not even had an offer for a glass of water) for 25 minutes. We noticed that several servers were drinking cocktails and eating at the bar without giving us a glance. After waiting for a few minutes longer (total 30 minutes), we walked out of the restaurant. No one noticed us leaving! Such a terrible staff! I will never go there again and will tell others to stay away from such an ignorant, uncaring place. It was a terrible experience. Was there today, and it sucked!! My wife and I ordered our meals and an appetizer. Main course came, no appetizer. The waitress forgot to put it in. Then, no silverware. Ask for silverware and never got it. We got up and left. The best was when we turned around and saw the waitress with a stupid look on her face. "Like, what's going on"!! You suck at being a waitress, and don't play with your phone in view of waiting customers. Hope you can afford to to for our meals and drinks. Patrons margaritas. Ouch! read more

Service at this Applebee's is horrible. I called to place an order and the server seemed only interested in my name and car. After 5 minutes of giving my information he finally started taking my order. What a nightmare that was. Once I completed the appetizer order he was giving me my total. I had to tell him I wasn't done. The whole order time took around 10 minutes for appetizers salad and a food item. He told us 15 minutes so when we got there 20 minutes later he came out to our car and let us know that they were backed up and that our order was going to take another 30 minutes before we would get it. We canceled our order and left. This seems to be Applebee's new way of customer service. This is not the first time I have had this problem with them and for some reason I keep giving them another chance. Well I can say I'm done with Applebee's and will not be ordering from them again. read more

Awful! Terrible and slow service!! We have been waiting 15 minutes to just place our drink order. Others are being served around us. It is like we were forgot. I love to eat at Applebee's but their service is non existent. Now after 20 minutes we received out drinks. The manager walks around observing but not talking to any of the patrons at the tables. Not impressed at all. My party of 5 went there this afternoon for lunch. Our waiter approached us in a timely manner and took our orders. The appetizers and drinks arrived shortly after our orders were placed. However, we waited approximately 40-45 minutes for the food to arrive. The three cheese pasta entree was cold and had to be sent back to be heated. The waiter had it re-made instead of heated. The appetizer portions and the two Oriental Chicken salads were considerably smaller than usual. Food was just so, so. Our waiter was nice and apologized for our long wait.. The restaurant was not very busy and had many empty tables. Not a great meal for us...... Sorry, Applebee's, you missed it today. read more

Great service and great food during a recent visit. Waitress really knew her stuff and could answer any questions we had on the menu. Really pushed appetizers and dessert but that's her job. Had a very nice dinner at Applebee's tonight. Had the chicken and beef fajita and it was cooked perfectly. My son had his typical chicken fingers and they were just right as usual. The server Haley (bartender), was fantastic!! She was vey prompt in serving our beverages and dinner. She made pleasant conversation and actually seemed like she not only cared about us, her customer, but like she enjoyed her job. Not used to finding good help at these type of establishments My only concern was that it was very cold in the restaurant. I don't think I've ever said anything in life about a place being cold, but I did mention it to the Manager (Joe) and he was busy and I thought he blew me off. I said something to him a second time and he said he had not been to his office to turn the air down yet, but that he would as soon as he was done doing whatever he was doing to the bar register. Never did feel it get warmer, but we left shortly thereafter. Overall, a great experience and look forward to a return visit soon with Haley. She said she bartends on Friday and Saturday and is a server the other nights she works. Just a heartfelt thank you to Haley and I will brig a blanket next time. read more

First ill start with the late-night convenience factor. For the Belleville area this is one of the very few restaurants that stays open post 11pm. And that's in the radius of 94 to Ford Rd, from 275 all the way to Whittaker. So that's a huge area where the only late night restaurants are BWWW, Applebees, and Dinneys. So if youre searching for some quality late and dont want fast-food, it's one of the best options and stays open til 1am. HUGE PLUS! Next, the servers are genuinely friendly and happy. Happy?!? How the hell can these people be happy all the time, laughing and joking all the time?!? Must be nice to work and not feel stressed lol. They definitely keep the experience pleasant for you. They also remember every customer who comes in which shows a real connection. I always make sure to get put in Debbies section when I bring the family in for a table. Lastly, be sure to stop at the bar and get a drink/food from Shanda! Definitely an enjoyable presence and awesome at what she does. Never seen a bartender have so many REGULARS who enjoy coming just to eat and kick it with her. Sometimes the fanclub is a little too much to handle lol jk. But all in all she's great at making you feel welcome and engaging in conversation while still holding the bar down :) read more

I will never go back to eat at this Applebee's, out waitress seem friendly at first but after we place our order we never seen her till near the end of our meal, I ordered the boneless wing with BBQ sauce in the sauce and when another waiter brought it out there was no sauce and he just drop the food without no plates nor napkins. We than had to wait and a different waited brought out our main course and again no napkins. No one check up on us till near the end of the meal. This applebee on Belleville rd has got the worst customer service. Even though I didn't want to tip, I still did but I will not be returning. read more

Walked in at 4:50 on a Monday. Bus,y but not rushed. Several empty booths and tables,75% of which had not been cleared or cleaned. We waited as they cleaned a table for the group ahead of us, and were seated in acceptable amount of time. For the next (9) minutes we sat at table watching several servers walk by in the area we were in. It is not my responsibility to ask for service. We walked out.... Have two Applebee's back home, where this never would never happen. This place is a JOKE. read more

Bad experience back in August 2012. My fiance and I went in for dinner and drinks before a movie date night, nothing out of the ordinary, both of us got sandwiches and salads, trying to be good. Well, I overheard the table next to me say they found a hair in their food. I know these things happen at restaurants sometimes, but, lo and behold, I dug thru my salad and a nice long grey hair on the plate. I immediately brought it to our servers attention, and she kindly offered to refund the ONE DOLLAR ($1) additional charge for the salad. I guess that's what customer satisfaction means to them. We propmtly left, without finishing half of our entrees. Then, I sent a handwritten letter to the store manager, mentioning my displeasure and dissatisfaction, and it has now been almost 8 weeks, with NO RESPONSE. Next time you want some quick easy sit down dinner, go to Roosters down the road. Similar prices, and better food. We certainly won't be back and will encourage all of our friends NOT to support them. read more
