We dined here on Friday night about 5:30 and the place was packed! Which means the noise level was through the roof. Hubby ordered fish and chips again and seemed pleased. I ordered the French Dip Sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was very good - tender meat, yummy baguette, and tasty juice for dipping. The sweet potato fries here are the best I've had so they are a must order in my book! We'll be back but hopefully earlier or at a less busy time. read more

Wow!!! We stumbled onto this place and it was fantastic!! Our server was Kai and she was great, very attentive. The food was amazing and drinks were great. We both had ordered a drink and it wasn't what we had expected and Kai took it off the bill. We then ordered Long Island Ice Teas- $9 each!!! Everything was soooo great!! Walking in you can't help but notice how loud it is. It was hard to hear our waitress let alone have a conversation with my husband. Service was good and our drinks were refilled. Not happy at all. I got fish and chips as takeout (only offered on Fridays) and I was very much looking forward to it. I've ordered this meal before awhile back and enjoyed it. It's not the best fish and chips, but it does hit the spot when you're craving it and this place is not too far from my home. Now getting takeout does come at the risk of my getting cold food or soggy fries when you get it home, which is where having an air fryer comes in handy. Well when I finally dug in I found my fish to be completely cold. Not only that, but the actual filet chewed like rubber and the batter was stale. My air fryer could not save this, because it was clear this was far from fresh to begin with. Imagine buying Gorton's frozen fish, baking it and then leaving them to sit in the oven overnight. That's truly what my fried fish tasted like, and quite frankly I would have been better off eating the frozen stuff because at least it would have been cheaper. Ironically the cole slaw (which I spit out immediately after tasting it) was warmer than my fish and chips and tasted sour. I'll give this place the benefit of the doubt because I've been there and had a good time, but this meal was so incredibly disappointing and ruined my dinner after a long day of work. read more

I met a friend here to grab a bite and a drink. I lived in Canton for a while and had never been here. The place has seating and a bar. There was also limited seating due to Covid. The waiter came over quickly and was very attentive. The bar manager also checked on us frequently. I had the fried pickles for a shared appetizer and the Ceasar salad with salmon. Everything you'd want in dive bar! Crows decor probably hasn't been updated since they open but that's the charm of it! This place is clean, fast, and tasty. They way they run their service is that every employee is your waiter so you're never waiting on drink refills or waiting to order. There is always someone close by looking to help you out and they have this technique down pat. Crows has basic bar food done very well and specials like salmon and lobster Mac on the weekends that always come out great. This is a great sports bar that does everything right, they have trivia a few nights a week to add to the already good atmosphere, great service, solid food with reasonable prices and consistent deals/rotating specials. Stopped in with my sister to check it out for lunch on a weekday. We split a Ruben sandwich with tots and got wings with 2 sauces. The Ruben was great. The tots were nice and crispy. Personally not a fan of the wings, but I don't like breaded wings. I know that's a thing that some places in Michigan do, but I am not a fan, so I didn't eat many. The sauces themselves were good. Garlic parm and the bourbon. The bourbon had a little kick to it which was really nice. Helped to balance some of the sweet of that one. We happened to hit when they had Miller Lite on special so our bill was a nice surprise. Our bartender was great and attentive. Nice and cozy inside with a nice number of tvs for watching sports. I loved this find in Canton. I had worked down the street from here for years and never known about it. I went on a Saturday night with my friends for Karaoke. We really enjoyed ourselves. The menu had a variety of interesting selections. I chose a salad and pierogi, and they were delicious. The prices were pretty good, too! The food came quickly, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The place was very well kept-up, and clean. There was move to walk around the tables; we weren't crammed in up next to other tables like in some bars. The Karaoke DJ was fun and kept things moving. What was even better was the crowd. No one was drunk or disorderly--just people drinking and having a good time. No one heckled. I hope that it was a crowd of regulars, because my friends and I plan on going again. read more

Pretty cool bar off Ford and Canton Center. Has that sit down restaurant-feel incorporated with sports bar atmosphere. Came here on a Saturday night around 730 with a party of 8. Got seated at a small booth for 4 while we waited a short time for a larger table (only took 10-20 minutes). It was nice that they made us comfy prior to the other table. All wait staff was super attentive and help each other out; so don't be surprised if EVERYONE asks you if you need anything. Food menu was great! Nachos were AWESOME!! Got those, had 3 cocktails, and paid for 2 of my brother's craft beers that were on special and STILL paid under $50. Atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. This establishment has been a local gem in the Canton area for many years. It looks smaller from the outside but the inside is a fairly large establishment. It's nice and bright inside, good for families, and they have a nice menu. Do you like chicken wings? They have several different kinds. How about beer? Several different kinds including reasonable prices on take-home growlers. Their pizza is good too. Even during Covid they made it easy to pick up a carry out through their drive-through service. They offer a slider platter, which is two small burgers and fries for $10. It's the perfect amount of food and it's a great deal. It is a noisy place though. I dropped in after an Ikea visit this afternoon and I was happy I did as it was just what I was hoping/looking for. I landed there on a taco Tuesday and went with the Mahi Mahi tacos. They were so good, fish was lightly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, served with a flavorful slaw, chips, and a nice, zingy salsa, along with all that was a fresh, healthy spinach with feta, salad. The bartender was really great--friendly, attentive and the fellow patrons were super nice and warm. Never an issue at Crow's Nest. Always a team of servers breezing through the room because they pool their tips. One is never left wanting although the beer selection lacks some major styles and has room for improvement. 400+ microbreweries in Michigan and just a small seemingly unchanging number (less than 6) on tap. Burger is great, sliders are great, coated fries are a 4 out of 5. Enormous salads are sure to please, but the chicken wraps fall apart and demand to be eaten with a fork. read more

This place was busy! Went on a Saturday at dinner time. First let me say the parking is horrendous for this place. In the back it's muddy puddles and gravel, really bad. Got my truck dirty Besides that the food was pretty good, we got the Reuben egg rolls, those were delish, our table got burgers. Cooked properly, big patty, nice bun, fresh toppings. I had the rise and shine, I recommend! Tater tots are delish, French fries didn't look great but table said they were ok. "Potato chips" are homemade and fried, under advertise and really good. I would have ordered those, but thought it was a bag of potato chips. Service was good, I felt like we had 3 different servers, but I guess they all just help out. Drinks were good, strong pour. Service was incredible! As soon as we sat down they took our drink order. Came back quickly. We were ready to order and he took our order and the food was out in less than 15 minutes. The entire staff was checking on us every 3-5 minutes. Not bothering/lingering. If our drinks were low they would ask if we needed another if they weren't low they looked and walked by. This review is for carry out only. It was a Friday night during Lent, during the Covid-19 crisis and we both felt the need for fish and chips. Turning to Yelp I saw a ton of reviews mentioned how good the fish was. Well let me tell you, those reviews were spot on! My husband called several times and could not get through so we were looking for another place thinking they must be closed after all when we decided to try calling one last time and bingo we got through. So, get this, the wait time was an hour and a half! For two fish dinners! That might dissuade some people, but not me. I figured if it's that good I needed to have it in my life. Yes, it was that good. The fries are battered and remained crispy during the drive home. And the fish....oh my gosh, so good. Very light, thin batter, not greasy. The serving is 3 pieces and a generous amount of fries. Super delicious tarter sauce too. This will be my go to place for fish and chips! As a side note, if you are looking to do carry out during this time right now, they have it set up so you don't have to get out of your car. You can pull up to the side door and they bring it out for you, which is super nice! read more
