Had dinner here after my 4 year old nephew chose Applebee's for his bday dinner. Decent food for your typical chain restaurant. They accommodated our large party which included four children. Our waitress provided great service, was friendly, and kindly allowed us to have three separate bills. The only negative was that although our table was pretty far from the front door, every time the door opened we felt a rush of cold air. Luckily we had sweaters to try and stay warm! For appetizers we ordered, fried string beans, boneless wings with Asian sauce, mild buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, and pretzels sticks. Everyone enjoyed everything. I liked the appetizers at Applebee's better than when I had the sampler platter at Millers Ale house which is right across the street. For entree the kids had meals from the children's menu. Pizza with a side of apples and yogurt dipping sauce. The pizza looked dried out an unappetizing. Thumbs down! Two of the kids ordered Mac and cheese, one with a side salad. Standard Mac and cheese, nothing special. The third child had chicken fingers with a side of yogurt. It came with three tiny and overcooked looking chicken fingers. Not very appealing. Three adults ordered the cowboy burger. Everyone was satisfied, and they were cooked to order. I liked the choice between three different types of French fries (regular, bbq flavored, and sweet potato). I was pleasantly surprised that my burger tasted better than average. For dessert we all had the cheesecake that was fried in a tortilla and topped with apples, ice cream and caramel sauce. It was good, not mind blowing bit good! Today I went here with my bestie, little brother, and grandma. The service was awful, and I have never ha d this bad of a burger. The MEAT was obviously cooked in lots of grease. The waiter (Kay) was yelling across the restaurant to other customers and employees. Dana, our other waitress did not know what we ordered and gave the kids meal to my grandma. She did not know which burger was which and ended up giving us raw burgers. It has also come to my attention that the bartender had no problem DRINKING Corana and then coming to our table and asking for our order. That must have been very embarrassing to the manager. Great food! We did car side go go and the manager brought our food out. She was quick, efficient, and friendly. Food was still warm upon getting home and the order was perfectly accurate! Probably because the girl on the phone taking our order was friendly, professional, and confirmed our entire order. I've been coming to the location for years. We came in on a slow Monday night. Were promptly seated but then nobody came to our table to even take a drink order for at least 10 minutes. I hit the little button on the table to Call Server. Almost another 10 minutes go by and still no one has come. Finally, the manager came over to check on us and by this point I was a little annoyed but tried not to show it. We all knew what we wanted so went ahead and ordered with him. The food and drinks came out shortly after and that was fine, but then nobody came back ever to check on us for anything. Once we were close to done, I hit the Call Server button again and this time, nobody ever came. So, we paid our bill and left. The food was fine but the service was absolutely terrible. Came here for dollar margaritas! The service was top notch and margaritas rolled on in quickly per request. We first shared a couple of tortilla chips with creamy spinach and a side of salsa - an all time favorite, you can't go wrong choosing this - and then enjoyed our main courses. I had a burger .. which I'm not sure on the name right now, but overall it was pretty good. Not mindblowly awesome on the flavor scale, but I was pretty damn hungry that day. My reasoning for the 4/5 is because of the solid level of service provided despite the place being swarmed with patrons. The staff handled things well delivered! read more

We placed an order from across the street at the hotel and every time we order from this hotel they don't let us use the coupon for some reason. PLEASE FIX THIS! It seemed to be a quiet Saturday when we arrived at this restaurant for lunch. Our granddaughter loved the corn dog so much that we had to order another corn dog lunch for her. Dined in a bar area booth. Felt like we needed boxing gloves if needed to go near the kitchen entrance. The yelling and apparent verbal fighting from certain employees, including the female bartender, happening in the kitchen made for a concerned experience. Totally unprofessional atmosphere. My husband an I have not been to Applebees in years and decided to stop in for a quick meal. I should have known straight from the greeting that the mood was set....The young man seemed less than enthused that we were there and walked us to our table. Shortly after we were greeted by our waitress who also seemed like she didn't really want to be there. she took our drink and app order (two drinks one app) and left. about 10 mins later the wrong app comes out, we inform her, and she said yeah, i remember that sorry and put in the right one. 5 mins later the correct app comes out and she walks away (not taking our entree order) She disappears for 5-10 mins and we had to stop her to place another drink order and our entree order. We received our entrees in a timely fashion but the quality of food definitely inst what it used to be, and to put the cherry on top....we hear someone screaming and having a complete meltdown cursing at another employee in the kitchen. Everyone in the restaurant turned around to see what was going on. finally we were just so turned off by this whole experience we went to pay on the quick pay tablet and there was an extra drink and also the app we got in error still on the bill and had to wait for someone to notice the "call server" button was blinking to come fix it. Definitely will never go to another applebees....i have a feeling they will be out of business just as fast as TGI Fridays. Go to Chilis a bit west of here, the service and food is MUCH better. sorry for the very small tip, but i work very hard for my money and you should if you feel that you deserve more of a tip. There is a server named Dana (kind of heavy, you can't miss her), anyway , as i was heading to the bathroom she pulls me over to the side to ask me if the lady I was with was my girlfriend. I can understand that the service staff do not clean the floor until the end of the night but tables and chairs have to be clean at the very minimum but apparently they weren't attentive enough for it. I got dragged here by friends while out Christmas shopping in the area. It was an "off" time ( 2PM on a weekday), so parking was a snap. Nothing much doing customer wise, a few tables occupied, and three or four at the bar. Service was friendly and fast. My friends chose appetizers, which I did not try. I had a chicken dish that sounded good on paper. Grilled chicken with a garnish of apples, cranberries and walnuts. Chicken has a weird consistency, and gave an after taste much like cold cuts. I didn't feel that well for a short time afterwards. My friends ordered desserts, which they said were good. I had a cup of coffee, which was very good. Price was right, service good. The food was great, They have Best burger out of the other similar restaurants like Chili's and Fridays. Our server was Dana who was very nice and friendly to us. She made sure our meals came out right, being very attentive to our table. All the employees from the host to the other servers were polite and friendly to everyone as well. Love this Applebees location. Been coming here with friends and family for over ten years. I don't get to come in as much as I used to due work and life but I make sure to come in on Tuesday afternoon to visit Dana at the bar for happy hour. She's been at this location for over two years now and she is a real breath of fresh air. She treats everyone at her bar as if they are her family. You really don't see that anymore in the bar business. My friends and I will continue to visit her and hopefully more people from the community realize how great the place is when she's in it.
