My boyfriend and I came in for a date to try out their Halloween themed drinks and their 2 for $22 special. Despite it being a busy Friday night we did not have to wait long and were able to step outside and wait on their nice patio without being skipped over. My boyfriend got the Dracula's Juice while I gave their $1 Zombie a try. The Dracula's Juice was better by far but especially for the price, the $1 Zombie was still a really great drink. We ordered the 2 for $22 special with the Honey BBQ Boneless Wings, my boyfriend ordered the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger and I ordered the Three Cheese Chicken Penne. Each item was delicious, we were especially impressed by the flavor of the BBQ sauce on the wings. We were helped by Kendall who was an incredible server. He was extremely friendly and checked in on us, and everyone else in his section very frequently. Kendall is honestly the reason that this review is being written, he deserved to be recognized for his hard work. While I may not have other specific names I will just say that the entire staff deserves to be recognized as well. The girls at the front seating people were quick, friendly and attentive. I saw servers in all sections constantly doing rounds to check on their customers. I believe even their manager was out in the dining room being extremely hands on and helping their crew as we had our food brought and were checked on by a woman in a blouse that stood out from the other workers in uniform. A manager who helps their team and engages with customers is always a great sign for an establishment. All in all, our dinner at the Corona Applebee's was a wonderful experience and I would recommend the location to anyone looking for a fair priced and delicious date night. read more

Against my better judgement, my fiance and I decided to give this place a shot. This was not a first time visit to Applebee's, but I was exhausted and did not want to cook. It seemed like both of us could find something there to eat. The service was great and we didn't wait long for a seat even though it was a crowded Friday evening. We both ordered from the lite section. Her salmon was dry, under-seasoned, and bland. My pasta, shrimp dish was swimming in a cream sauce, was bland, and about the size of a child's plate. It wasn't bad, just boring and flavorless. The dessert was the highlight, a hot, liquid chocolate in a mini bunt cake with ice cream (very 80s). I won't even comment on a Patron $10.00 margarita; after all, these places make their money selling booze. In the end I spent $70.00 for two drinks, mine was an $8.00 glass of wine, two meals, and two desserts. I don't mind spending money for good food, but let me put this in context: For $30 to $50 more we could have dined at much better place with higher end food and wine. Compared to my visit a few years ago, I feel that Applebee's is trying to find what they want to be especially with the decline of such chain restaurants. I wish they would go back to cooking tasty pub food at a good price. But, if you are looking for a fun place to drink and eat appetizers then it is fitting for most who like McDonald's, Domino's, and Hamburger Helper. I just wont be back. I would rather spend 25.00 on a fair bottle of wine, grab a loaf of artisan bread, and spear some goat cheese on it, with a bowl of oil cured olives when I am to tired to cook again. read more

Not bad... if you actually get served! I am rarely inclined to write a review of a chain. Those that know the chain, know what to expect for the most part. Hey, it's Applebee's and thus entitled to its normal 2-3 stars just for being able to meet your expectations, as mediocre as they may be. This location however, has twice seated us and forgotten about us. Nothing like having to ask who your server is just to get a drink order taken after 15-30 minutes! When you have the kids with you and are already running late on dinner, this flat out sucks. I will continue to hit the bar on occasion for a drink and appetizer, just because this place is right down the street. However, dinner with the family here is no longer an option. When I wasn't satisfied with an appetizer that came out, Mia was quick to get the manager Darrell who was courteous and quick to satisfy our needs. Big disappointment!! This place is not only gluten unfriendly they suck at accommodating one with food allergies. I am unable to eat anything with garlic. WORST BARTENDER I'VE EVER HAD THERE. Jose who "serviced" us was so fucken rude to me and my family there. We were all sitting at the bar and ordered our drink. I made an honest mistake and ordered the wrong drink because the name was very familiar to the one I wanted. He gives me the drink I don't want and told him I ordered my drink by mistake. Instead of just giving me the correct drink he ARGUES WITH ME ABOUT THE DRINK. This is my first time to Applebee's. We do not have any near our home so we thought we would give it a try. We went mainly because of the 2 for $20 deal. For the price, it was worth it. I ordered chicken fingers and fries, the hubby ordered a grilled chicken plate and we had a delicious spinach/artichoke dip. The kids loved their meals too...mac n cheese and a corn dog with fries. Our waitress was super nice and helpful...I believe her name was Jolene! She recommended the "perfect margarita" which they serve in a martini glass and leave the shaker at the table that has enough in it for at least 1 1/2 more servings. It was delish! I ordered takeout for pick up. I know right now the menu is limited so I called and asked what salads were available. The man was completely bothered with me but he did find out what was in the oriental salad and he told me. When I went to pick up the salad only half of what he said was in the salad was in it, and they only provided a small container of dressing, otherwise everything was fresh and good. The only other thing that I did not like is that when I pulled up to the parking spot for pick up I noticed there was a sign that said free 32 ounce drink with any order. When I was on the phone I ordered a large soda and no one told me that it would be free. They ended up charging me 2.99 for that soda so this was a very costly trip and I didn't get what I ordered. This was not a good experience. Food is not very good. Asked for a steak rare. They brought it as medium, the baked potato was not eatable. They don't tell you of all the additional cost to grill the veggies and some of the other thing. Way overpriced es for the quality of the food. It's better at Denny's. Then I see her grab a napkin, went to the facet and dipped the napkin in one of the sinks filled with most probable dirty utensils and what not.
