Honestly, if I could I would give this zero stars. Applebee's is a place I love going to with my friends and family. However, today was the first time it has ever happened...I was called a "Fu*king bi*ch" by waitress/server because I asked for my change back which was $45! She told me "are you not going to tip me?" And I responded with "I already did using card." One never ask for a tip coming from a worker herself. Also called my friend a "cunt" because he asked for change as well. I mean who does that!! I was talking to her calmly and she was giving me attitude. My friends and I are teens/in college meaning we also work for our money and need it to help ourselves. And we did give her a tip which seemed like she was unthankful when asking for more. Her name is Nicole, and it was my friends 16th birthday and it was upsetting that it was ruined for her. I went here to bring in my girlfriends birthday at some place in the area that doesn't close at 9pm, so we found Applebee's. We walked in and almost seat ourselves before we were helped by some gentleman. But our server totally changed how we felt the night was gonna go. She was patient with us, she didn't mind how loud we were and even sat and joked with us a couple times. She was really knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the menu. I had prime ribs and my girlfriend had chicken Parm. They both took us to tastebud heaven instantly. I joked with my girl that they had the table wired because every time we mentioned we wanted or needed something seconds after finishing the sentence it was at our table. I asked for ranch, extra drinks, more napkins, more water and every time we wanted it. It was there like we made a wish. I'm sorry I didn't get her name bcuz we paid on the machine in front of us. We were forced (by peer pressure. Damn you, peer pressure!!!) to come to this Applebee's on Friday night. The good thing about this place is that it is consistent. Kudos to you Applebee 's for keeping the tables as sticky as my previous visit. Not only that, but the menus were also sticky this time. Just ate here last night with my fiance and I was pleasantly surprised. I had been to a different location before and didn't like it, but we had a gift card and this is right near our house. We got seated right away and immediately our waitress came over and took our drink order. We got the two for twenty deal: fried cheese sticks for an appetizer, my fiance got the chicken strips and fries, and I got a healthier grilled chicken dish served with rice, quinoa, and cranberries. My dish came out later than my fiances. Normally I would've been annoyed, but the waitress explained that the cooks had messed up my order and she caught it and had them fix it, which I appreciated. Next my husband beer took another 15mins to arrive. Went for a late night snack on a Saturday night. There was 7 of us we were told it was going to be a 20-30 min wait.. 1 hour later we were seated. Our food was brought out at different times, painfully slow service. Waitress apologized and said they were under staffed that night, took a look around and saw a group of employees standing around talking to each other. Wasn't crowded either. Matter a fact I saw a booth that would accommodate all of us as soon as we walked in and we were not seated there instead they made us wait a hour. I normally wouldn't choose Applebee's to eat at but it's right around the corner from our house and my husband likes it. After tonight it would take a lot for me to return. Although our server Ell was very sweet and professional, the rest of the experience was not. To start, the hostess was either new our really struggles with customer service skills. Second we got our appetizer with out any silverware and when we asked, they asked us to be patient because they were cleaning them. So our appetizer got cold, and we received forks but nothing else. Let me first start out by saying my boyfriend and I both had relatively great days with great news. He just purchased a new car and I had received a job opportunity with a company that'll help me leave the company i've been yearning to leave from for quite some time. With that being said our idea of celebration was to go to a restaurant and have a few drinks and enjoy our time together. This Applebee's was the wrong place to celebrate at. Upon arrival it took about 10 minutes for us to even be greeted however we were seated once they finally got around to greeting us which makes everything square in my eyes. After that, it took about another 20 minutes for Elicia (spelling?) to introduce herself and take our order. It looked as though she had her hands full with a party of about 16 at one table and 4 other parties of two at other tables including ourselves. Now, as the current manager of a fast food restaurant I know a little thing or two about how hectic things can get which i 100% understand. I'm not upset that i wasn't serviced immediately i'm upset that i received no sort of "hey i'll be right with you" or "One sec and i'll help you guys out". The most we received was gratitude for our patience which won our server back some brownie points with us. We put in our order for drinks and appetizer and it took 10 minutes & then 15 minutes respectively for those items to arrive. In that moment, another lady began helping out Elicia and they both consistently delivered items and assistance to the party of 16 and not the other parties of 2. It then took an additional 30 minutes for our entrees to be delivered which by then the attitude was thick and the hunger was gone. My boyfriend and I spent a total of an hour and 15 minutes inside of this Applebee's only to receive mediocre food and even worse service. If you have to make the choice between this Applebee's and any other restaurants nearby including Mcdonald's, don't choose Applebee's because you won't be satisfied whatsoever. read more

Drinks and service always good but nothing special about the food. This is typical corporate food. My major issue is their sirloin steak menu. When you serve a steak for $18, it should be at least a center cut choice sirloin. My fiancé and I both ordered these steaks and they were not good. This establishment has a friendly and personable staff, great deals, good chefs and an all-around positive atmosphere. There was no pricing for the drinks which is a little concerning, but other than that it's a relaxing restaurant to dine at.
