Applebees has always been a great go to for Me and my friends. We particularly enjoy going after 9 and filling the table with many, many half price appetizers. I'm a fan of all the apps but have a special place in my heart for the chicken wonton tacos. When not visiting during the half price apps I've been going for the quesadilla burger. Such great flavor! My boyfriend always gets the Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken which is also very good. I feel fortunate to have an Applebees right around the corner! read more

2 minutes to be seated great, 25 minutes for 2 drinks not great, 35 minutes for food, 10 minutes after food was given as I was eating was asked if I needed a box. Said sure because at this point i'm being rushed and want to leave. 25 more minutes later after the box was given, received a check without the discounted drink. 10 minutes for check correction. What a wonderful lunch! Just a basic grilled chicken sandwich was PACKED with flavor, and so many sauces on the side available to complement every bite! Jennifer R served me with great efficiency and attention to detail. She suggested many things to make my order less complicated and still what I wanted. She even offered me broccoli WITHOUT garlic butter since I added 3 dipping sauces on the side-EXCELLENT choice! I didn't even think of it, but it was the best lunch I've had in a long time. Applebee's is like an old staple restaurant. I say that in a good way because the food is a favorite "go to" when my family wants to "go out to eat." Not only is it easy on the pickis the food good, the service is good and the ambience is also good I think I've tried just about everything on the menu and I really can't say that I dislike anything the only thing that disappointing me was the two for $20 went up $5. read more

I haven't been here since COVID started, but I have to say, out of all the Applebee's in the Montgomery County, Bucks County, and Philadelphia areas, this one has the tastiest and most consistent food. I used to get takeout quite a bit 2 to 4 years ago, and they had the sweetest employee working their To-Go service. She was always cheery, and always helpful. She was there for quite a few years, haven't seen her recently. The service inside was always a hit or miss when I chose to dine in. Usually on the slower side, but the food always made up for it. Food is never cooked how you ask for it. Steaks always come out as tough as shoe leather.

The food was okay. It's what you would expect at any Applebee's. The service however was incredibly slow. The waitress was very nice. She continued to apologize for the delay however, it took over an hour to get our food. The restaurant didn't appear to be super busy so I'm not sure what the delay was. read more

Probably the best Applebee's I've been to!! I have always been a fan of Applebee's, and since I was out of the way from my usual one we found this one. Seated immediately (granted to was probably 8:45) and our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Our appetizer of boneless BBQ wings were tender and delicious. Been here a few times now. Pretty varied menu. All consistent franchise food. Not bad, kinda pricey but all in all a good time. Things to look for: Drink specials- certain nights drinks are $4 like their Long Island which kicks ass or their gigantic sangria which is a great value because it does the trick. They don't skimp on the booze. Quesadilla burger is def best item on the menu. And the boneless chicken wings are very good for a starter I'd pick this place over the competition anytime read more

I am so confused as to why this location has a 4 star on google reviews because they don't know how to cook. I ordered 2 salmon dinners through door dash and once it arrived I opened and eat without even thinking to check my food. My stomach starts hurting and something said turn the light on in this hotel room and check your food. Sure enough the salmon is not cooked just got burned marks on the top to make it seem as if it's cooked. Who can't cook salmon apparently this Applebee's and now I gotta wait until 2-3 business days until doordash responds to give me my money. Plus except the fact that I have to make an ER visit ugh. I have an Applebees much closer to my house in Lansdale, but I do like this one in Plymouth Meeting better. I've eaten here on occasion in the past with some friends who live in the area and I enjoyed my visits. It's the same kind of food you can expect at any other Applebees but the food is still great! I always enjoy the Four Cheese Mac + Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders the most, with some appetizers of Mozzarella Sticks and the Brew Pub Pretzels and Beer Cheese Dip! The service is great too and although I don't live too close to this Applebees I know I'll be back to visit this location in the future, it's one of my favorite Applebees!! read more

After raving to a friend about how great the burgers are at Applebee's, this trip was a total reversal. The cheeseburger was so-so and the bun broke apart like it was 2 days old. Before the days of bars, pubs and breweries, there was Applebees. My friends and I used to come here a lot when we were in high school and I'm just gonna blame it on the fact that we didn't know any better. But I won't lie, I did thoroughly enjoy their after 9PM half-priced appetizers and still do...occasionally. In any case, this Applebee's is pretty much like any other Applebees with food and drink and perhaps even service which can either be hit or miss. For entrees, I'd stay away from the southwest jalapeno burger unless you enjoy eating jalapenos soaked in oil and or drinking a cup of grease with your burger. I mean, I've had plenty of burgers here before but this southwest jalapeno just didn't make the cut. I'm not too thrilled about the steak either as it can be tough and chewy and of course nothing ever comes out looking as it's portrayed in the menus. What I do enjoy is their late night beer specials which is relatively nice on the wallet. I'm also down with the town-based decor as it gives off a homey kind of feel or maybe it's because I always run into people from high school when I come through. You point to the menu at the menu item and get charged the complete opposite. Our family LOVES Applebee's on Dekalb/Norristown area. Frequent customer since 2007. I can honestly say that every server we've had has offered above average service to us, they've been prompt and curtious in every way. The food we have ordered has always been served in a reasonable time, sometimes faster than expected and still outstanding! Their food such as, salads and meat are fresh, especially their hot wings, which we are BIG fans of! My fav side dish is their infamous red skinned mashed potatoes w/sour cream. I am very sad about how my friend was treated tonight. She is from out of state and has an out of state id. The bartender Kelly took my friend id and gave it to her General manager Matthew Carr and he came back through her ID at her and said I do not accept out of state ids and then the bartender ignored me as I was asking for my check I have never been so disappointed and disrespected in my life. We stopped in to grab lunch today because we were in a hurry and it wasn't too busy here. Our server, Kyle, was very sweet and checked in on us every 5 minutes. I had the endless soup and signature salad, which was a nice option since I was hungry and like to try a variety of items. The smaller half portions were the perfect size too. The french onion soup was decent but quite cheesy and they did run out of the chicken tortilla, which was disappointing. The chicken caesar and shrimp and spinach salads were pretty good, though, and I liked the addition of sliced almonds to the shrimp salad, although the bacon was barely discernible. The blackened shrimp was slightly greasy but pretty juicy and decent enough. The black and blue burger was okay, with thick sliced of crispy bacon, blue cheese, and onions, although the fries needed some seasoning. Our drinks were refilled consistently, which was a nice touch. Overall, a solid lunch option. It's a national semi-fast food chain so if you come with that expectation, it'll be a decent experience. 2 stars for the food and an additional for the service. read more
