Triple Chocolate Meltdown

I was impressed with the service.... I was a little apprehensive about stopping by, but we outside again!!! I actually was going to get it to go but they had plexiglass on each booth and I saw them wiping things down. I requested an area that wasn't full so there was a empty booth or two between guests. The waitress was pleasant and knowledgable- Dominique The food was delicious and we ate too much. The dessert was the star here - served warm with a gooey center (with ice cream on the side). The ice cream wasn't non dairy so I couldn't indulge. It is a good shareable indulgence. Extremely rich!! It was also great that we were able to redeem two (2) movie tickets with our meal purchase.

We dined here about 2 weeks ago for a quick dinner on our way to Ocean City. We got the $22 for 2 deal, which gave us 2 burgers + an order of wings. Given the price, the burgers were decent - both cooked to our desired doneness. As for the wings... perhaps I wasn't too hungry that night, but the bbq sauce on the wings was so one-dimensional in taste that it was almost nauseating. Luckily the chicken itself was fine and the ranch helped balance out the flavor. As for the drinks, we got a gin and tonic as well as the Bahama Mama. The gin and tonic could have used a bit more lime, but had a generous amount of alcohol and was a solid drink. The Bahama Mama was ok - there was some fruitiness to it, but lacked any complexity; the coconut flavor was also nearly undetectable. As for COVID precautions, there was social distancing (though the restaurant was quite empty at the time), QR codes for the menus, and hand sanitizer at the door. Overall, it met expectations and was reasonably priced, but otherwise unremarkable. Ultimately not bad for an evening pitstop.

Great service. Good deals/prices. Decent food. Stopped here on our way back from Ocean City Beach to Washington, DC because we were hungry and since there was traffic. Hardly no one there because of COVID-19. Wait staff was super attentive. Got $5 long islands. Our group of four ordered the pick two specials. The salad and spinach artichoke dip was good. The two pasta dishes were just okay. The steak was great. Would come back again.

Onion rings

Coming back from the beach and sick of beach food, we thought we would stop here for dinner. We were seated in the side room in the middle of a bunch of screaming kids. That would have been fine if that was the only table available but the place was half empty. We waited about 10 minutes for our server. She had a terrible attitude from the start. As soon as we told her we were doing the 2 for 20$ special she rolled her eyes as if to say she knew her tip would be small based on the tip percentage of 20$ and she had a horrible attitude the entire meal. Our onion rings came out with BARBEQUE sauce and she just said oh well. Use it for your chicken tenders. My husbands chicken tenders were dried out and looked like a kids meal. My lime chicken was cold and the only thing lime about it was the lime wedge on the plate. We had to flag her down for refills and she never cleared any dirty dishes so we sat there with dirty side plates and empty glasses while we tried to eat. The server then loudly told the couple next to us that their credit card was declined and slapped their card on their table. And when a mother with her two small children ordered the 2 for 20$ special she loudly said "it figures!" And they had to ask for silverware after their meals came. There was a manager lady walking around asking people if everything was ok but the server was hovering only then so we couldn't really say anything then. My advice is to avoid this place if you don't want attitude for not ordering the most expensive thing on the menu. Or if you want your food to be hot or if you want silverware with your meal or a refill. Or avoid the busomy server with the dark blonde hair that wears a ton of make up and a choker necklace with large wooden keys on it. She seems to think she is deserving of your hard earned money when she can't even do her job.

Verified Untappd venue (iykyk), with what seems like endless taps and an even more impressive selection of cans/bottles. Bartenders are pretty damn knowledgeable about the product as well, which as a beer nerd is perfect. The food is fantastic. From appetizers (the fried vegetables are heaven) to entrees, it's the perfect amalgamation of classic bar food and Indian cuisine. Today when I was in I had the Taphouse (Lamb) Burger with fries and a side of their Makhani sauce (Pic attached). If a place has a lamb burger it's my immediate go to every time, and I have to say Taphouse has the best I've ever had. The lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the vegetables were fresh, and that feta is that perfect accompaniment to round it off. The Makhani sauce is just good on everything. Could drink it. Not kidding. The venue offers a welcoming outdoor area and a semi-private indoor space perfect for events. I've booked Taphouse for both corporate and personal gatherings, and it's the easiest, most reliable spot in the County for hosting by far. Beyond the food and drink, Taphouse, and especially Sunny (the owner) are one of the most community engaged businesses in Southern Maryland. They have put on countless events supporting all types of local organizations, and always work with nonprofits when they need anything. Taphouse and Sunny himself really serve as one of the best ambassadors of St. Mary's County, especially since a large portion of the customers are transient. All in all, 100% a must try if in the area. But be warned, if you do, you will be coming back constantly.

"Why did it have to snow tonight?! We're stuck in this hospital...when we should be following that…read moremonster's trail," Roberto DaCosta (Sunspot) shook with anger as he expressed a desire to seek revenge against who or what attacked their teammate, Danielle Moonstar, leaving her on an operating table on the brink of death. "Waste o' time, Bobby, you won't find the critter there," Sam Guthrie (Cannonball), the oldest of the teenagers that make up the New Mutants, responded, "It'll be here." "What are you talking about, Sam? Explain yourself!" "Stands t' reason, ever since we've known her, Dani's had a special fear of a spirit bear she said murdered her parents. None of us really really gave the story much credit, after all who believes in magic?" Sam paused oh so slightly before continuing. " 'Cept Illyana's a real witch, an' we fought demons and sorceresses. Maybe Dani wasn't kidding." Sam shifted his tone to reveal his evidence. "Illyana tells me Dani spent the last week or so in the Danger Room fighting bears! T'night, she walked out into a [winter] storm, alone, armed with a bow an' arrows an' wearing war paint! And got mauled. We were wrong t' doubt her. We should'a listened, we should'a seen the signs." Whenever my wife and I visit a restaurant or bar for the first time, whether we are there by ourselves or--in this case--treated to a meal by our favorite neighbors--I can count on her to sort through, heed, and pick up on every nuance in every aspect of culinary service that is there to be sensed. In this case, at the Dockside Restaurant & Sports Bar at 421 Deale Road in Maryland, the food was mostly wonderful, and the prices were more than reasonable for this economy. What prevents Dockside from receiving at least four stars was primarily the service. Two orders of fries, one sweet potato and one regular, weren't hot; and although our waitress reluctantly brought one of the orders back to exchange it for a new batch, the fries didn't taste any warmer. Our other host ordered his crabcake lightly-fried, only for it to be brought out broiled. He still enjoyed it, but it wasn't exactly what he wanted or ordered. By the end of the meal, it became obvious that, if we return, we need to ask for Sarah, who, although she was tending the bar and wasn't even our waitress, still brought one of our neighbors a fresh cup of Pepsi Zero that she could take on our return trip home. Sarah also exhibited a great sense of humor, an attentiveness and an attention to detail, and, most importantly, remembered with pleasure our hosts, who have dined there frequently. Apart from the pumpkin cheesecake, which was so infused with nutmeg and pumpkin spice that even Linus from Peanuts couldn't have tasted the pumpkin, and the lukewarm fries, our meals were terrific. I devoured the perfectly-seasoned shrimp from the fried shrimp platter; everyone loved their onion rings and their cream of crab and Maryland crab soups; and we all agreed that the crabcakes, boiled and fried, were scrumptious.

This is MY KIND OF PLACE!…read more Hubby was bored at Martinak and said *Let's go for a ride!*. I didn't want to let him down. So it just started out riding through the small areas of the Eastern Shore and a gas run. He asked me if I wanted to go get a coffee....I said no, let's find a pub or brewery. I consulted with my phone like all of us do these days and found 4 Dogs. Waze kind of messed us up, but it actually worked out because in our being turned around for a few minutes, we found another place that we will be returning to before the summer season starts to try out and I will review on that at some point. We pulled up to this very pleasant looking building with some dogs painted on it. We walked in and it was just this nice place with pool tables, some tables to sit at and of course a bar. We selected to sit at the bar. We were served by Chris who was just fantastic and makes a great orange crush. The vibe is just so nice in the pub, just the way I like it. You can hear yourself think, you can talk to your partner without screaming, yet there is music playing and laughter....it's just a nice friendly place. We ordered a Hot Honey Old Bay order of wings as we were going back to our campsite to have dinner. Would for sure order these again. They were meaty, and the sauce was sticking to the wing, not laying all over the basket. Very impressed with the taste. We thought the drinks were a great price, but then living in the Baltimore area, we get hammered on price here when we go out, which is why more often than not, hubby makes our drinks at home these days.....but this is a nice little place in the town of Easton which looks like it has a bunch of hidden little gems and we are going to take another trip down soon! Really enjoyed our time at this pub!
