So, my mother had recently gone to an Applebees restaurant for a board meeting with her colleagues, & brought home a small portion of ribs that were left over. I heated them up a moment ago, & I have to say; I'm thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the ribs! If it's one food I love it's ribs! I've purchased a full rack of ribs from the local markets, & the quality is so much better! With the Applebees ribs, there was BARELY any meat, & they practically "drowned" the ribs with their sauce which left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. I'd rather spend the money on a quality rack of ribs, & cook them myself & get more for my money than spend it on "cheap food", regardless of them being a chain restaurant. read more

I was there with my son. It was our first time at Applebee's. The environment is pretty cozy. However, the service is horribly slow. The staff is doing too much to cater to the customers. There was one waitress and she was also the bartender. The management staff needs to learn a thing or two on staffing for the lunch time rush. The second issue, the food was lacking flavor. I will not be returning to this location, let alone any Applebee's. First impressions mean a lot in the restaurant business and this location failed. read more

When you walk in the restaurant is dark and has a relaxing vibe. There are small green, red, or yellow lights over each booth (see photos) There are short tables, tall tables near the bar, and even bar stools at the bar. The food is always good here! We leave full and satisfied. We love the 2 for $25 deal... we ordered the spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips, and we both ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken as our entree. So yummy! I am so frustrated... When I went with my family of 5, we were coming back from church!! We were so excited to enjoy the food at this restaurant. My kids were practically bouncing off the walls!! When we sat at our table, it took ages to get our food! My husband and I were so furious! When the food FINALLY arrived, I had found a hair in my steak! It was blonde. Man, it's no wonder Applebee's is a dying breed around here. We went there once before a little while back and while the food was decent, the service was abysmally slow. Like, I had to shave....twice.....the service was so slow. This time was no different. Oh wait, yeah it was! We got seated fairly quickly. And that's it. We waited maybe 20 minutes and no one came to greet us, get a drink order.....anything. What we did notice was our waitress walk by us several times acting like the booth was empty. Other people seemed to be having the same problem. What we did notice was she had no problems talking to her friends at the bar. Like I said, we waited 20 minutes with nothing and left. I doubt they noticed. We went to Old Republic Kitchen next door. The food and service was great (if a bit pricey). Where to even begin. My boyfriend and I decided to come to Applebee's that was 30 minutes away from his house because this was the closest possible location for Applebee's and we wanted to get the unlimited wings. Our waiter greeted us and told us that he was new, so our expectations were already low. First, he spilled ice water by placing the cup on top of a napkin that was over my wallet. Then he let 30 minutes pass of us sitting there. We asked the order where our food was and he said "oh i forgot" which is when we should have left. We waited again until another waitress served us the wrong wings. We said it was the wrong one and she responded with "you don't want buffalo?" and we told her we asked for the garlic parmesan. Well, after that they served with this plate and it was so bad we started laughing. After staring at the plate i saw a fry hidden covered with some red sauce that had chunks of meat. Sooooooo let me start by saying, I haven't had Applebee's in nearly a decade, and my expectations were.....well I'm not sure if I really had any real expectations. And boy oh boy, I'm glad I didn't. The place is dark and dingy with a very unwelcoming vibe. I felt like I walked into a real life episode of Bar Rescue meets Restaurant Impossible. Someone call Chef Robert Irvine ASAP!! Right out of the gate I was ready to turn around a find the closest Little Caesars or Wendy's to satisfy my hunger. First strike, the host was abrupt, and disinterested in doing his job. I didn't expect that from someone with bright pink cotton candy for hair, but I was wrong. He told us that there was a ten minute wait, mind you, there were multiple tables open. He then took my name, and scribbled it down on a piece of paper before walking away. His blue crayon was a nice touch of professionalism. Needless to say, he made his back to us and guided us to a table that was still dirty. The attitude from him was kind of funny, but still not enough for us to walk out. I had my eyes set on the new lime chicken bowl! Thankfully the story for us gets better with every bite. Our waitress, Ang, was great! She had strong positive energy, despite being noticeably overwhelmed by the business of her section. The food was average, and the bill was more than affordable. It's tough to say if I'll be back or not, seeing how Chile's and TGIF do a better job across the board. read more

Experience here wasn't great at all. It was so bad only because our server was horrible. We came in, waiting for about three min didn't know if anyone was going to show up to seat us. Finally someone came over looking dismal and unhappy we were there and showed us our seat. The table was so sticky and wet. Our server came and gave us some time to look over the menu and gave us water. Ordered a beer but turned out she couldn't serve us beer because I didn't have my ID with me. Completely understandable and she was 100% right for making that call. Kudos to her for following the law. They had a 2 for $20 deal. You get an appetizer to share and your own entree. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, fiesta lime chicken, and chicken penne. We played Trivia and 15 min later we were wondering why our appetizer didn't arrive and I've seen them bring out appetizers for people that sat after us. We even checked the time we checked-in on yelp to confirm the time. Another ten min came and nothing. Finally our server comes back and asks us what we got again. She proceeds to tell us our orders got mixed up and that our food was sent to another table and that she would have to order our food again. So we were just sitting there like "okay..." and she was struggling for a few seconds to remember what we got. She literally wrote down our orders on her notepad. We finally told her and then she leaves to order our food again. By that time, I was just hangry. Not hungry. Hangry. The spinach artichoke dip came. The chips were so oily. You literally could see the chips glisten in its oiliness. I ate it anyway. I was soooo hungry. The dip was okay. The fiesta lime chicken was phenomenal. It was so good. It was so flavorful. I was hesitant to get it because I'm not a huge fan of too much lime but this was perfect. It had chips at the bottom which made for a crunchy bite. The chicken was cooked well. It was tender and you can taste the smokiness of the grill. The sauce was creamy. Definitely recommend it. The chicken penne was okay. After trying the fiesta lime, the penne didn't compare at all. The flavor was there but it was eh. Didn't wow me. It was basic. The sauce was good but a little watery for me. The chicken was great. It was cooked well just like the fiesta lime chicken. read more

I'll start off by saying that if I could leave negative stars, I would. Literally the most abysmal experience I have ever had in a restaurant (and to the couple that heard me tell the host that as I was leaving, I hope you got up and left). I dined with my wife and my brother. Thought hey, we haven't been to an Applebees in ages, let's reminisce. Mistake. Our server took forever (spent 2.5 hours seated from start to finish for 3 people). She repeated our apps and drink orders several times, and then knowingly brought out the wrong alcoholic beverage saying "I put this in wrong, but it's made now so see if you like it". It was actually pretty good, so no big deal. Then proceeded to wait 45 minutes wondering where our apps were. Shockingly, they never arrived and our entrees show up. We asked about the apps and she just straight up said she forgot. I mean, she took 10 minutes writing down and repeating our order, but ok. Food was okay, nothing special at first. My brother and I ordered unlimited wings, which the server promised to keep circling back for since she missed the 3 apps we ordered. Average time of 30 minutes before she checked in to "be on top of things".....and the brings back shrimp instead of chicken, which we do not care for. At this point, it's been 2 hours and we are done with it all and ask for the check. She comes back stating that she took one entree off the bill.....yeah, it was still there. Then she disappeared for another 25 minutes and claims she handed us the wrong ticket. Oh, and she charged us for the wrong drink she served us and did not remove it from the bill when asked. The riblets that I ordered were inedible pieces of trash that I had to spit out, as I feared for what would happen to me if I consumed it. Honestly the worst experience I've had in a long time. Just to start it off the food wasn't that good I had the boneless wings and it took about 20 minutes to come out. No biggie. So we ordered and about 15 minutes later the waitress comes up while we have no food or drinks and asks the "how's everything" and ofc we didn't want to argue and just said "it's alright" then ofc as us teenagers laughed and joked about it. I had the fettuccine Alfredo and The Alfredo was the worst I ever had the noodles were hard and there was no actual Alfredo sauce it was just butter noodles chicken and broccoli. My gf had the 6oz sirloin steak and that was good and cooked correctly. Had no problems with that. And our friend had the tenders, fries and mashed potatoes. The fries and mashed potatoes were ok and chicken tenders were hard as f*ck. And while we were waiting for our waitress to come give us the check she was gone for like 25-30 minutes and our friend looks around and sees her dancing at the bar. Like bro‍. I honestly don't recommend going there it's very over rated. And the workers don't really care about their establishment looks or if it's cleaned up the floors and tables are sticky and dirty but at least it wasn't overly priced but still quite a bit. Experience was really disappointing and service was really poor. The 2 stars come from the food (see fiesta lime chicken below). We came for dinner on a Saturday and had to wait a few minutes to be seated which is fine, but multiple employees walked right past us without even acknowledging us. Once we sat down, our table was still wet from being cleaned; again, not a big deal (happy it was cleaned!) but added to the poor experience. Service was really slow. After placing our order (2 for $20 deal!), we waited at least 15 minutes then our server came and told us our food was taken to the wrong table; but she had to retake our order which seemed odd. At this point we had been in the restaurant for 30 minutes and were getting restless. We also didn't get an offer for a comped drink or appetizer or anything which was disappointing given the long wait. They do have tablets on the table with games, so we were able to be distracted for a bit but 30 minutes is a long wait for an appetizer! For the food, the 2 for $20 is a great deal! Although the spinach artichoke dip was solid, the chips were EXCESSIVELY greasy/oily. We ended up eating the dip with a spoon because the chips were pretty much soaked. Highly recommend the fiesta lime chicken, it's an awesome dish with texture and the sauce is on point! The 3 cheese chicken penne was also well cooked and had a good taste, but overall was pretty basic (granted it's hard for it not to be basic). I was the only car parked in the to go spots. She came back with a clipboard stating I needed to include a tip and put the total then sign. My family and I have been here twice and each time we encountered an incredible experience and walked out with a satisfied, full stomach. I ordered a pasta dish both times and they were AMAZING! The service was incredible and we were surprised one waitress recognized us the second time we came. When it was pretty crowded and busy, our food still came in quicker than anticipated. Came for dinner on a Friday night and waited about 15 minutes for a table for 8. The table was actually ready before all the people arrived, so it worked out well. I feel like they have really expanded their menu since my last trip to Applebee's. It took a while to read through what they have. There were good deals, like 2 for $20 where you can get a 3 course meal for 2 people or the pick 2 items for $11 or $12. I went with the green goddess wedge salad and garlic rosemary chicken pasta for $10.99. The wedge salad was great! It came with a creamy dressing topped with blue cheese, bacon and nuts. The pasta was also good. The waitress asked if we were celebrating anything and we told her it was one of our friend's bday. Cheap drinks and dinner for 2. I've never really loved Applebee's, nor chilli's for that matter, but between the 2 I'd personally pick chilli's given the chance, they just have more appealing dishes there. Fine dining this is not; the Servers at this location are also VERY Hit-or-Miss. I'd say go if money is tight, or if you just want cheap drinks, ($1 Long island's, $2 Margaritas) keep in mind though that you get what you pay for in terms of the alcohol content/quality. read more

Honestly - they need to call in some carpet/upholstery cleaners to come in. As we were seated at a booth, I noticed how disgustingly filthy the fabric backs of the seats are in the booths. And then as I looked around, I thought -- yeah -- this place honestly needs to be shut down for a day or two so it can undergo a deep clean throughout. Makes you wonder what the back of the house looks like.... Take some pride in your establishment. And it isn't as if the service and food make up for it. Even that has been getting worse. Our last visit - my bourbon chicken and shrimp meal -- there was no garlic butter on it. It was pretty meh and dry without it, so asked our waiter for it. Then it took forever for it to come out from the kitchen. So I sat there waiting to eat my sad dish until the garlic butter came out. I also thought it was rather odd that NONE of our food was brought by our actual waiter. He only brought our drinks, and the garlic butter that we had to ask for. Maybe that's the new way of doing things now, but it was kind of bizarre. I mean, who am I tipping? Hopefully they all share tips -- because our guy barely lifted a finger in taking care of us. It'll probably be a long while before we dine here again, which means not eating any Applebee's locations because this is the only one relatively close by. read more

Haven't been to an Applebees in maybe 17 years or so and we went for my birthday! Inside was actually nice, redone, clean, and looked really good! Service was slow to start but then picked up just fine theoughout or meal. I had the 25c wings and oof they were good! My buddy had the bbq and I had buffalo, both were great. Better than BWW if you ask me honestly. My wife had a chicken wonton stir fry and it was also really good, she loved it. They gave me a free brownie vanilla oce cream for my bday and I'm not a dessert guy, but holy smokes was it delicious. I wish I could have had another! Overall I am happy and would rate it even with Chilis. If you like insane $1 drink specials than Applebees will beat out Chilis though. I think we'll come back! read more
