We were escorted to a table right away as soon as we arrived. The table was one of those booths that have 30" of room on one side and about 12" on the other side. I had to trade sides with my girlfriend right away. Why don't the people working there see this? We both had chicken salads which were good but expensive. The raspberry tea tasted like a fake powder to me. The waitress was hard to understand because she mumbled and talked fast. We only received one breadstick for 2 salads which we had to wait for because they had run out. The breadstick tasted bad to me. How can you mess up a garlic breadstick?Maybe one $13 salad provided a breadstick and the other $13 salad didn't. I don't know because I didn't read the fine print. I had the chicken strips fries and ranch and it was to die for so good it made my mouth water, food was delicious! Service could be a bit better I understand it was busy that night but we asked for a to go box and never received it and ended up leaving without it, service could be better. Ok so, it was a Saturday, and as we all know, Saturday's are for the boys. Being a Saturday, me and the boys decided to go get some a-bee's. We sit down, get our drinks and are ready to order our appetizers. The time was 8:07. Half price apps start at 9:00. So, I'm trynna finesse some half price apps before 9:00. I ask the waitress, "yo, you wanna help a boy out on this fine Saturday night and give us some half price apps even though it's not 9:00". She says no, I couldn't believe it. I asked so nicely. We have given this location a try twice in the last 2 months and I will never go back there again. Last time we were there we waited over 2 hours for our food. We thought maybe it was a fluke. Tonight we waited an hour and a half and I didn't even get my whole meal. It was cold and did not taste right. Our waitress could not fine the 2 managers on staff. The glass between the booths was absolutely disgusting like it had not been cleaned in months and they even brought us a dirty plate. My last two visits to Applebees have not been very good experiences. I ordered the Riblet platter the first time. My Riblets was mostly bones. They had very little meat. I've been to Applebee's many, many times in my life and I know there are some semi decent things on the menu but my food I had the other night was just gross. I went straight from the airport to Applebee's to have dinner with my parents. My dad and I got the 2 for $20 deal where you get 2 entrees and an appetizer for $20. Our appetizer was onion rings which were good (they better be, I mean how can you mess up an onion ring?). For my entree I chose the riblets. The meat just didn't seem to be very good quality. It was really fatty and had little chunks of cartilage in it in addition to the small bones that are supposed to be there. I know I am picky when it comes to fatty things and I know ribs are supposed to be a little fatty but these were just not good. And I have had riblets that are good before. I am glad that I didn't go there being super hungry. My meal ended up being a fry fest of the onion rings and the fries that came with the ribs. Applebee's sure knows how to make some fried food. I had a white peach sangria with my meal that wasn't all that great either. It was huge and came in this large glass goblet but it wasn't very strong. On a positive note the Applebee's employees were really nice and the service was good. After that bad fried food meal at a bad chain restaurant one thing was for sure: I knew I was back in Indiana. read more

Terrific, terrific, TERRIFIC! Applebee's has branded itself PERFECTLY as a family friendly, neighborhood bar and grill. My husband's and I come to Applebee's quite frequently because their daily drink and appetizer specials are a great, economical, spontaneous date. We are regulars there and have many, MANY staff (JOSE and the Jareds') and manager (Amanda and Carson) favorites. The new grill combo meals ARE an EXCEPTIONAL value and are absolutely DELICIOUS!! Overall, it is a great experience literally EVERY TIME we visit. The servers are personable and attentive and that's honestly the most important thing to us in a perfect dining experience. The two of us stopped in here for a late meal on our way home in another state. The restaurant was nearly empty and, even though we were seated promptly, it took many minutes for our server to come greet us and take our drink orders, then a long time to come back with them. These long gaps in service were probably explained by the fact that he was hanging out with his friends in a back booth. The women's restroom was in bad shape too. I've been here quite a few times, & the best experience i've had was plain mediocre. The waitress I had was a delight, but we had waited 45 minutes just for APPETIZERS. A friend hadn't gotten his side he ordered, and ended up waiting an additional near 20 minutes after he got his initial meal just for a plate of overpriced fries. Today 12/13/18 was a completely different story, we arrived at 730 pm the place was a little crowded but we were shown to a table right away. Things went down hill from there the server took our order and drinks were brought to the table 30 minutes later no food and we have not seen our waitress. I decided that I had had enough. We left and the manager caught us at the door, his explanation was that our server forgot to order our food that the drinks were ordered 30 minutes ago and our was ordered a mere 3 minutes from the time we decided to leave. My wife had a pasta dish that had mystery French fries in it and very dry with no sauce, I had the new brisket enchiladas that were more like tortillas covered in cheese. If I could do 0 stars, I would. So we get there, they say 10-15 min wait, we wait 30 minutes... okay that's fine. So we get seated and wait about 10 min before our waiter (Quinten) even acknowledges us. When he comes to our table he sets the appetizer plates, forks, and knives on our table... nearly hitting my daughters hand with a knife as it fell off the plate. By then we were ready to order so we ordered two drinks, a kids water, an appetizer (so it would come out fast for our daughter), and two entrees. I have to ask for my daughters water because it was never brought to us. After 45 min, we check the little iPad thing on our table to see if our order was in and nothing pops up. After seeing other tables getting there food and trying to entertain a one year old for about an hour, I ask our waiter how long it'll be, and he says about 5 minutes and apologizes. A couple minutes later our order pops up on the iPad (so he forgot to put our order in). After waiting another 10-15 minutes I ask another waitress if she could check on our order because our waiter never once came to our table other than to take our order and give us our drinks. The manager shows up and apologizes and gets our app out in the next 5 minutes. By now, I've asked for our entrees to-go because we have to get home. So we wait another 30 minutes for our entrees... by now we are livid. I'm in the car with our daughter, who is very hungry. THEN, they bring our food out on plates... absolutely ridiculous. They did pay for our food but that was not worth the wait. I would've paid double the price to have even semi better service. Luckily, our daughter was a trooper for most of it. Chelsea was the best waitress ever! She had the best sense of humor and made us feel special. Her smile was inviting and warm. The food was good, had the chicken caprese with garlic mashed potatoes. I asked for the mashed potatoes to be in a separate bowl and it was but you could see that it may not have been as there was residue on the plate.... and no basil. Usually Applebee's is my favorite place to eat, but this trip was terrible. The service sucked. It took 20 minutes to even get someone to wait on us. Then it took another 25 minutes for me to even get my drink or a straw. The lady who said she would wait on us didn't even wait on us. Today was just a terrible day to go there to eat. read more

My friend and I have frequented this particular Applebee's for the last 2 and a half years and have had some very good experiences and have often had the same servers who got to know our order before ever giving it. We happened to go there the other night and upon ordering two items off the half price appetizer menu, I stated I wanted one brought out as the appetizer and the other for my meal. My friend ordered the pretzel sticks with the cheddar dip. We waited and waited and waited. I finally caught the attention of the server and told her perhaps she hadn't heard I wanted the chips out before hand. She said she didn't know and proceeded to return to the table with ALL of the food. The cheese dips both my friend and I ordered were both "set" on top - like the cheese had cooled and "coagulated" into a clumpy covering. When I saw the amount of cheese my friend got with her pretzel sticks, I commented that the amount was pretty skimpy. The queso blanco (which I order every time I go) was so spicy it was barely edible. I asked the server for some sour cream to mix into it to help tone down the spice. She suggested mixing salsa in it. When the manager came to the table to check on us, I stated that the dip was pretty spicy (more spicy than normal, because I like spice!) she just kind of shrugged it off and said someone was probably just heavy on the pico that day. When my friend mentioned her issue with the cheese she received, with having the top part of it "set", it didn't leave enough cheese for dipping all of her pretzel sticks in, the manager shrugged that off as well, stating that everything is pre-measured. Between the server and the manager, this is the first time in two plus years coming to this Applebee's that we felt apologetic for being there. It was like we were in the way. Not to mention what we assumed were off duty employees sitting in our section flirting with on duty servers and using language I don't prefer to hear. I stared at something that looked like a fruit rind on the floor in front of me the entire time I sat there. Maybe it's because we didn't go on our regular night, but should it really matter which night we go? All the times we have gone, we don't normally complain and are not high maintenance customers. Why should I feel apologetic for being at an establishment I am PAYING to eat at? Definitely a poor experience. read more

Took my son and grandchildren. There were 5 of us but only 4 of us received our meals. My son ordered onion rings and received fries. I ordered baked potato and it was raw and barely warm. I told the waiter and he managed to fix his mistakes and the manager came to our table and he seemed unconcerned about all of the mistakes.
