Pretty good meal with an attentive server! When we arrived, we were seated pretty quickly and our server let us know if we registered with the app, we'd get a free appetizer. We chose jalapeño poppers and were really impressed. The cheese was piping hot (be careful!) & the breading was really nice. We quickly gobbled up the poppers! I ordered the shrimp basket with curly fries & apple sauce. I got a side of BBQ sauce with my fries that was really tasty. The cocktail sauce was very flavorful, if a bit salty. The shrimp breading was a little plain, but not salty (rare & good!), so I was happy with it. My berry cocktail was sweet with a modicum of tequila flavor. I drank it quickly! My fiancé had boneless wings, half with peach BBQ sauce & the other half with a lime rub. Both were good! The peach BBQ sauce had a little kick to it, as well. We came here today for my daughters 19th birthday lunch. I don't eat wings. I don't really like wing places. But it's her birthday, and today I can say I'd come back here! We arrived at noon. The place was not busy surprisingly. Our server Melissa brought our waters, and I ordered a jalapeño lime margarita. It arrived quickly and tasted great. We put in our food order shortly after-Fried mushroom appetizer, 10 boneless wing special, and fish and chips with fries and Mac and cheese. Our mushrooms arrived first from a nice gentleman. They were hot and delicious. We didn't have to wait long until he was back with the food. Timely enough that we had finished the appetizer, but not so long we were left waiting forever. The food was hot and fresh. For a wing joint, a pretty decent piece of fried fish. Fries and Mac and cheese were acceptable. Nothing to write home about. My daughter loved her mild boneless wings and took home the leftovers. Melissa kept our waters filled and was attentive without being over bearing nor absent. I visited the women's restroom. It was a bit out dated but clean. Overall, I was satisfied with the food and service. It seems like they are trying after all the bad reviews. We tried out Wings etc, today for lunch for the first time. The restaurant was very clean on the inside and we were welcomed in with smiles. The service was excellent, our waiter was on top of it keeping our drinks filled up and making sure we had everything we needed. All of our traditional wings came out popping hot and crispy. The wings had plenty of sauce on them to add all the extra flavor with the wings. We definitely will be coming back to try more of the different flavors of wings they offer! read more

I ordered the pulled pork nachos. They should rename them tortilla chips and lettuce. They put a tiny amount of queso UNDER the mountains of plain tortilla chips, lettuce, and BBQ sauce. Then to add insult to injury, they skimp on a little bit of pulled pork. For $14.99, I was beyond disappointed. I had to ask for a cup of queso because there was hardly any on them and they charged me $2.99 for it. Ridiculous! Overpriced garbage. I have been there 6 times Out of 6 times I only had 1 good experience. Last time wings were over cooked and could not taste the seasoning I ordered, my Fiance ordered extra chicken for her salad and so over cooked. We arrived about 7:20 and they weren't very busy. Had to wait several minutes for a clean table before finally being allowed to sit. Waitress was Kylee, who admitted she was still new. Though a bit nervous sounding, she handled everything terrific, and even was gracious to turn on the game we wanted to watch. I have been coming to this location since it first opened. It's sad, but over the years it has slid down the proverbial hill from a decent establishment to the pits. Tonight was no exception, the kid that seated me said your waiter will be right out. I sat for 11 minutes and watched 14 servers walk past and smile but no one stopped or asked if I had been helped. This included what appeared to be two managers. Finally the kid that seated me came back and chuckled I guess your mine tonight. I ordered a salad and a appetizer. As someone who doesn't really make solid decisions based off reviews but uses them merely as an indication of what I might expect, I wasn't really surprised when I tried to call and put in a carry out order at this wings etc. I called and was promptly answered and asked if I could hold, which normally is about 5 mins or less, 10 or so if it's packed crazy busy. No I was on hold for 15 minutes before I finally gave up. It was around 3pm so not even peak hours and they clearly weren't busy as there was no chatter in the background. Let me explain my "amazing time"...we arrive at 3:30 with a party of six people, with one other party in the restaurant. We sat down and was told our waiter will be with us shortly. 15min go by and our waiter came out to get drink orders and we all go waters. We got our waters 15min later and ordered our meals at this time. After that our waiter came back and told us he would get us all refills on our waters, that we never got in our whole two hour experience. Really enjoy the pretzel dippers and cheese bites for appetizers. I highly recommend the bacon swiss grilled chicken sandwich. I have also enjoyed the fish sandwich. I have had the wings here once and I didn't really care for them. I had the boneless wings (big!) in three different sauces. I don't like really spicy foods, so I went for sauces that I thought would be either very mild or not spicy. The teriyaki was thick and had some spice to it. The garlic parm had quite a kick to it. The honey mustard was also somewhat spicy. I probably won't order wings there again. We always have great service. They ask us where we want to sit when we walk in. We've been here several times now. I love finding a place that is baby-friendly. Great place for a baby who loves to people watch:) Staff has always been very accomodating and friendly. I've liked pretty much all the wings I've had here. Plenty of flavors to chose from, hot to mild, depending on your mood. The lunch specials are a good price. Horrible service, miserly portions, average taste. My family decided to give this place a try last night, and were extremely underwhelmed. 20 minutes after being seated we still hadn't received our drink order. A new waitress came by to get our food order, 2 items of which were not given to the kitchen staff. 45 minutes and we hadn't received our appetizer. We were prepared to leave when a third waitress brought it out. Tasted ok, decided to wait on the meals. 1 hour after being seated, half of our meals arrived. All of us had eaten before the final meals came to the table. Some of the wings were quite literally the size poker chip. Unbelievable. A look at the tab convinced me that I will never take my family here again. Avoid and go to another pub that has their act together. read more

When I called to complain, I spoke with the manager. The manager blamed everything on Waiter on the Way. Totally unacceptable. They took no responsibility for their cooking and were unapologetic. Update-before the original review posted below was a five star rating. About one month after posting that review me, my girlfriend, my daughter went back to "wings" was seated at a table where the tabletop was wet from being wiped with a wet rag I took a few paper towels off the role that they put at each table and dried off the table. Later that night we all had stomach flu type symptoms. Not sure what's in the water they're going around cleaning the tables off with but it definitely made the three of us sick so I lowered down to two stars could've been something in the food too, but I certainly will not be going back, had it been one of us getting sick I could've erased the idea of it being related to this restaurant. But we all came from different places prior to getting to the restaurant so it definitely is restaurant related. Wings Etc. on Maysville Road-Always very good service, A couple of months ago they hired a new bartender, I ordered a long island iced tea, it was not the best long Island iced tea, but it was not the worst. And it was her first day nonetheless. Considering it was her first day on the job she done well. Me and my girlfriend have frequented the Maysville Road Wings many times since and before that new bartender started working. I would like to give compliments to whoever trains employees at that branch as well as me and my girlfriend would like to give compliments to the "new" bartender that is very considerate of customers as well as skilled and dedicated at her job.
