I am really not a fan of Applebee's. I absolutely love their Oriental Salad. It is my only go to on there vast menu, I ate only 1 times in the restaurant and it was so loud, yes the normal sounds of a busy house but there were so many young families and their tired an inpatient child it just made for a Un pleasant experience... Vinnie is their BEST asset... He always remembers your drink, your name, your children's name and your dog. We had the ribs all you can eat, well we got one plate, after 20 minutes the first question if we want more, even though the waitress passed our table a couple of times and probably realized that we are ready for round two. I ordered ribs, cost me $30 with tip and they were AWFUL....so over cooked! Black charcoal on bottom, 3 smallest tip ribs could not eat at all. My eating companion had a sampler plate. We were seated at a table and sat for awhile before I had to ask a passing server who was the waitress for our table. We had not even been acknowledged. He said he would check and a few minutes later, one finally came. We ordered drinks and they sat on the bar for several minutes before our waitress finally brought them to our table. We waited forever for a waitress to take our order. Then we waited forever to get our food. It wasn't very busy either. When I got my order I began to eat it and wondered if I had ordered the right thing. I hailed a waiter and ask him to get a menu to see if I ordered what I had wanted. Waited quite awhile for appetizers. Our actual waitress, I do not remember her name, was very nice and paid attention to us. But the food was so horrid. Horrible service. We came in Halloween around 9pm after out getting candy. We had 4 kids, and us 2 adults. The hostess was a young guy. He asked how many were in our party, I told him.. Great service and friendly staff. They have machines at your table to be able to order and pay for your meal. You can page your waiter/waitress if you need something and can't find them to ask. The food was really good and it was a nice price. We got the two for twenty ribs and made it a platter for like 1.50 more. Well now, my family do not go out to often, but when we do we feel that where ever we go the food and the help would be top of the line, considering all the food shows on TV. Our waitress Michelle today was excellent, the younger waitresses were a bunch of chatter boxes loud enough where we could here everything that was said, talking about reheating food, personal crap and unsanitary practices, like touching there own body parts and not washing up, just carry on. nobody wants to listen too, or see that, or worry about getting sick which I had to deal with, listening to my wife go on and on, about what kind of owner allows this crap in his restaurant. while paying customer are trying to have a nice dinner out. Now the food we order, apps we had the crisp green beans, awesome, the pretzel bread and dips decent, really like the cheese fondue. I had the garlic parmesan sirloin with vegies and the what kind of mashed potatoes that tasted like reheated play dough, the shrimp on the steak with the melted parmesan, didn't look like the picture, a couple shrimp well, well done the rest cooked right on, but when you get down to the steak, it was one of the most no flavored piece of meat I had ever had. "You know maybe a little garlic salt and pepper" and the steak it self was not tender, was tough, I rate my meal on a scale of 1 to 10 about 4 and all going to our waitress. My wife's meal: she had the Cajun shrimp linguine and it was over seasoned, the pasta was cooked decent and the shrimp was like mine not all cooked properly, some raw she said. our daughter's meal: she had margarita lime chicken and the chicken was good, but she also had a raw shrimp which ruined her meal. I heard raw fish can kill you, I watch a lot of cooking and restaurant shows. If I wasn't disable I could cook ten fold better then the cooks that really don't give a crap that was working during our visit. Went here on my anniversary and ordered two of what I believe is the most expensive item, the ribeye. My husband and I had to ask for spoosn to stir coffee, had to ask for silverware to eat with , had to ask for the whole item I ordered ( ice cream on the brownie) Had to come back the next day for my kids juice boxes that were supposed to be in their togo order. The last time we were here the ribeye was ordered medrare. It was well done, not done well but tough and dry. We sent it back something I don't generally do, but for the price....sent it back. The kids were done eating when our steaks came back....raw. My husband could eat his but it was rare. Mine was less cooked and I could not eat it at all. I usually love Applebee's. I'm all about the chicken wonton tacos. They never let me down. Today I went with my best friend to catch up and have a girls day. We got our usual, sampler plater and a blue moon & Cadillac margarita & two German chocolate shots. The shots took a minute to come back. He said he had to look them up. It's a shot that contains vanilla vodka, frangelico, a sugared rim and a lemon wedge. They came with an explanation of how he didn't know how to make them, and they were made with regular vodka, frangelico, a SALTED RIM AND SALTED LEMON. We kindly told him. He apologized and fixed them after we told him how they were made. He was nice and I have nothing negative to say to him. Other than, practice makes perfect. However, there were two ladies working there who were laughing while my friend and I were snap chatting and laughed even harder when we mentioned the salt. Just kept staring like we were crazy. Keep in mind these are two employees working. Which we all laughed off and explained both her and I were bartenders as well and understand it happens! But then a comment was made to us by another server saying something about us taking shots at 1pm. Which she may meant to be funny but was just out of left field. We sat at the bar and the bar opens at 10. So why judge your customers? Hm. Moral of the story, we won't be returning... no matter how good the wonton tacos are. Hopefully this location will take this as a opportunity of training on 1.) the correct customer service & 2.) knowledge of basic drinks. It's in bartending 101. They kind of go hand in hand. After, the bartender explained he only charged us for a vodka shot for the mishap. NOPE. He charged us 8.25 for two vodkas. Go to ANY bar ever and see a German chocolate Shot is $5-5.75 anywhere you go. So we were charged more. So disappointed. read more

The place was packed and everywhere you looked there were veterans of all ages engaging in Applebee's free dinner on Veteran's Day.
