You know I really love Applebee's Grill + Bar, I really do. I mean, at Applebee's you really do eat good in the neighborhood. BUT. Let me give you a run time on the wait times for an otherwise fantastic establishment. It's a Friday night. Me and my buddies (3 total) Uber here because we planned on drinking heavily for their $1, $2 drink deal (which I highly highly recommend). It takes about 10 minutes to get seated. Applebee's is popping around this time. We get a booth. Queue the wait for about 30 minutes without even getting a server to acknowledge us or bring us menus or anything. Honestly we weren't that annoyed by it because we were having solid conversation and a fun time. However, I can imagine if you were coming here for an actual meal that this would be unacceptable so there's that. Anyways, 30 minutes passes by and a server finally notices us, apologizes, and takes our drink orders. What follows is a drunken time at good ole Applebee's. We also got the appetizer sampler and it was a great combo with our drinks. If it weren't for the wait time and the purpose of our visit, this place would've easily gotten a 5-star because you really did get a sense of warmth and togetherness that is the Applebee's atmosphere. There was a good mix of young and old all bonded together in good food and very strong and cheap drinks. If that's not a good time in the neighborhood, I don't know what tis read more

No stars is not a option - but that is what this establishment deserves. Stopped in at 1:00 pm today for lunch. Restaurant was not busy, but still had to wait to be seated. Once seated, our server took our drink order and quickly brought drinks, which were incorrect. Getting them replaced with correct order took 15 minutes. We then placed our lunch order - both of us ordered salads. After waiting 30 minutes, we began noticing customers who were seated after us were well into their meals by now. After 40 minutes, we left and drove 2 minutes to Barleycorn's. Within 12 minutes, we were seated, ordered our lunches, and had them served to us. So, just skip Applebee's and head to Barleycorn's - you won't be sorry! read more

My boyfriend and I came in here on Sunday night. We we're both very patient because we have both worked in the restaurant industry for years even though we waited an hour for our food to come out. We placed an appetizer order to come out before two burgers. Our waitress spent the hour checking on every table in her section except for ours, she would even walk away after I made eye contact with her and to try and get her to come over. She spent extra time at her other tables complaining about the college kids coming in (it was a party of 12 that was patiently waiting and wasn't even in her section). Then when our food came out it had CLEARLY been sitting under the heating lamp when it all came out together, appetizer and burgers. The sauces from the wings were separated. EVERYTHING was cold. I took one bite of my burger and didn't swallow it, I spit it back out onto the plate because I realized it was undercooked. We got 80% of the bill taken care of because my boyfriend had already ate his burger but now I am suffering from food poisoning from that one bite of the burger. NOT HAPPY and will be considering further action to be taken as I have had to now miss work because of this. read more

Anyway, I went there on Easter evening and the service was fine - in fact, better than fine. NO - it is not somehow small or confined and anyone who thinks so is an idiot. For those who think that THEY should be serviced better or different than others well,,, OOPS sorry , the world stopped rotating around your ... ah never mind... It is what it is - an Applebees. Worst service I have ever had in my life. I will not be coming back. It's a Sunday night and it takes 40 minutes to get the salad before the meal? Our waitress has talked to us maybe 4 times and we've been here for 2 and a half hours so far. I never complain about service but this is terrible. I asked the hostess if there is someone else who could refill my drink because our waitress was nowhere to be found and her response was " I don't know what to tell you I'm new". Am I getting punked right now? I wish my experience would I have been better. My wife and I went here for lunch last week we both ordered a salad. I ordered the southwest steak salad, which was brought to me with chicken on it for some reason, but the biggest issue was the amount I was given. For nearly $13 i was expecting a more substantial salad, not only was it drowned in so much dressing it was inedible in parts but I swear the side salad at Texas Roadhouse is bigger than this and for a 1/4 of the price. We've gotten other dishes from here in the past and somewhat liked them which is the only reason I didn't 1 star them. read more

Horrible service... The food is overpriced for how much it sucks and they give you the smallest portions. The tables are never clean and the floor is disgusting. The only good thing about this place are the drinks at happy hour... Oh but you better check your glass and silverware to make sure it's clean. I used to go to this location all the time when I was in college. There were no problems. A few years ago, my father in law ordered cole slaw and he chomped down on something hard. It was a plastic WIRE NUT with wires in it! Before we were able to keep it or take a picture, the manager snatched it away and only offered us $5 off his entree. This was unacceptable, but we still went back a few times after that. No wire nuts were found in our food, but service was always sub par, and the steaks were always prepared terribly and were rubbery/fatty. I love other Applebee's locations. This is the only one I have a problem with. read more

If I could choose 0 stars I would! For it being my birthday, the service was absolutely atrocious, we not only had to wait 30 minutes to get our appetizers but another 40 minutes to get our food and then my sister didn't get her food who is pregnant and very annoyed by having to wait another 20 minutes for it, when we all got our food mine was cold, my sisters was way too hot, and her boyfriends was cold. The waitress was absent most of the time and when she was here she was very sarcastic and acted like she didn't know what her job was. All in all this was a terrible experience and I advise everyone to just avoid this place go somewhere else and spend your money on something worth it! read more

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on 5/18/13, we sat in the bar area, the waitress took our order, actually think it was a manager she wasn't dressed in the same manor as the other servers, II think her name was Danielle only because another server called her buy her name, she took our drink order, she brought back our drink's and then we placed our order, so we sat, and sat waiting for our food, our drink's went empty after waiting an half hour we thought she would come over and give us refills at least, so we said the hell with it, we left and I told the lady we wouldn't return as I was walking towards the exit, its a shame, because we were regulars and enjoyed eating lunch here several time's a week, we will find a new place to eat...what a shame!!!!! read more

I came here Sunday evening with my son and daughter for dinner since the other half of our family was out of town. The quickest nicest thing about our whole visit was the usher who sat us. She played with my daughter (a one year old) colored with her and made her a paper airplane. All of this was done while we were waiting on our server just to take our order. Our server came to us several times through our visit telling us she'd do this that and the other in a minute that she was just waiting for her other tables to do this that it the other thing. We were there 2.5 hours for three people which is ridiculous. My salad came to our table after I received my actual dinner order and my daughters alfredo looked to be in just water from cooking the noodles instead of Alfredo sauce. We used to go here all the time and I don't foresee us going here in the future after this poor experience. The only reason that I gave it two stars was because of the usher. read more

Had to keep requesting refills by getting up to find the server. Gave 1 star as there is no negative star option. Some of the food was good, some of it, like the service SUCKED! Waited 30 minutes for my caesar side salad only to have someone other than our server place it on the table. It looked like someone's unfinished lunch from hours before. It was not edible. In less than 3 minutes out food was brought out, so much for eating my salad before the meal. Part of my meal was dropped into my lap... nice. The silverware was dirty. Server asked if we would like more water, took over 20 minutes and we were finished (with the food and experience) and ready to leave. Server had no problem bringing bill before we finished eating. Found out the sides I ordered were "extra" charge items though nothing was stated when I ordered them. Took another 15 minutes trying to pay the bill. No one but our server could ring us out? Absolutely horrible experience. This used to be a nice location, but is no more. There was no visible manager on duty and we will NOT be going back here anytime in the foreseeable future. read more

Was the most pathetic example of a restaurant I've ever been to. Hostess was rude. Server was awful and could care less. This chain has gone downhill so far in the last several years. The service is lousy at this location, we waited over an hour and a half for our food and when it came out it was cold. In addition, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I paid 10.29 for a steak quesadilla that was smaller than the child's chicken tenders. This is my favorite place to take my parents when they're in town for a visit. The service is great, if crowded the wait is never long, and they always have our orders out in a timely manner. My dad loves it because he can watch sports, and my mom loves it because although they serve alcohol, it doesn't have a 'bar-like' feel. I love it because they put chicken tenders on macaroni and cheese. That's just genius, really. read more

Arrived at 8:15 PM on. Saturday evening. Send my daughter in to check the wait time, she came out the tell us 20 minutes which was fine. We got my wife into her wheelchair and went into the restaurant. A gentleman name Bob looked at my wife in the wheelchair and said "we have a 45 minute wait". I ask what happen to the 20 minutes we were told and the couple just in front of us was told. Bob repeated it will be 45 minutes. I ask Bob if I could borrow a pen, he put his Gand over his pocket and ask what for, I said to write down your and the hostesses name. He said no but I'll get you a manager. While waiting for the manager three young men came in and hostess Maydsen told them the wait was 20 to 30 minutes. Manager Madison came out and the situation was explained to her. She didn't deny that a handicapped person wasn't given a longer wait or that Bob was wrong in anyway. This restaurant and its management are a bunch of very sick poodle. read more

Ive never really been a huge fan of applebee's. Its started to grow on me and I started to really enjoy it. One day I stopped in there with my family. I ordered the tortilla soup, because I have heard it was delicious. My aunt and I both ordered it. My aunt's came out first and it was the wrong soup! They gave her Italian meatball, and shes a truck driver vegetarian. She took it back and they gave her the correct soup. Then myine came out with my meal and guess what...... my soup was the same italian meatball my aunt received. They took i back and i recieved the correct soup. I am completely disgusted by the poor service of this establishment. I get it's Applebees but decent service is at least expected. I should known there would be a problem when I walked in and a gentleman was standing at the hostess stand asking her to get his server because he was no where to be found. Well we got the same server. It took 15 mins to get drinks and then another 10 mins to order (we were ready right away). Then 40 mins later our food never came. So we just left and I doubt our server even cared. He acted like it was an inconvenience for anyone in his section to ask for anything. Would not recommend!! Placed a carry out order on Christmas Eve around 5:15 to be picked up at 7:15. When we arrived, the bar tender was handling carryouts. Unfriendly!! to say the least. She went to get the order and came back to say there was no order; was I sure I had called this Applebees and just very demeaning. I asked how long it would be if I placed the order again. "Well I don't know. We are very busy.I can place the order but I don't know how long it will be" No apology. No offer to place a rush on the order. No offer for a free beer while I wait. No offer to get the manager to bring this to his attention. Just a very cool and unfriendly employee. After about 15 min wait the order arrived. Still no I am so sorry for this mistake; Nothing!
