I asked the bartender can she get someone for my pick up order and she pointed at someone else walking and told me to flag her down. The $5 Bahama Mamas were so good my boyfriend and I had 2 each with our wanton tacos for appetizers. I've never been to this location and it was a pleasantly nice visit. Our waiter was nice and quick with our service. The drinks were the first thing he mentioned so that was a plus. We didn't know they had some alcohol beverages for reasonable prices. He was very informative as well with the menu. They don't have their sides listed but he was able to give me a brief list of what they offer. I had the Bourbon chicken and shrimp with a loaded baked potato which was so yummy and seasoned just right. The temperature wasn't cold or to hot. Overall my experience was really good and if I'm in the area I'll definitely be returning. read more

Jan 1, 2013 Happy New Year one and all! We ate a late evening meal, of Crispy Green Bean appetizer (could've been fresher-crispier) and BBQ sauce that comes with it...odd I thought. Spinach Dip (always good) and Garlic Sirloin. While I have to praise the Chef for cooking the steak well on the outside AND on the inside, unfortunately somebody forgot the 'garlic' part. Couldn't taste the garlic at all.I was also struck by the 2 small red potatoes that they quartered after placing on plate left something to be desired and the single semi large cooked mushroom with 2 cooked spinach leaves ontop of it, I never realized how a "pleasing" presentation was indeed a good thing. I went yesterday and it was ok in the beginning until some tall African American waiter gave me the weirdest look like I had shit on my face . Not to mention I'm African American as well but I'm like weird . Let that slide cool, the waiter was ok can't think of her name . After ordering drinks etc... I look over to the bar and two man are arguing one got up literally trying to fight the other guy mind you it's still the first quarter in the game . Someone diffuses the situation (he should've got kicked out). Than again he tried to fight the same guy getting closer and the waiter comes out of nowhere asking me do I need anything I ignore her watching the bar patrons get an inch to fighting before they broke it up AGAIN . The prices were average, but the portions were much smaller than Chilli's. Even the kids were not satisfied with their portions. It was like we got lunch portions but were charged dinner prices. Was staying near by and stopped here. We live in Austin and usually choose Chili's over Applebee's. We sat in a booth in the bar area to watch March madness games and didn't realize until after we sat down that it was smoking. I guess we are spoiled with living in Austin where there is no smoking in restaurants. We ordered chips and salsa and wow was the order small... we had like 20 chips. I've never been crazy about this location and it's for good reason. My wife and I came to this location while visiting with family only because it was close and had the shortest wait. We walked in expecting it to be a pretty good experience due to the fact it had been remodeled, wrong...We were sat quickly for having a party of 7 so we figured so far so good. Drinks were ordered and they all tasted watered down. I ordered a sweet tea, and I received an unsweet tea, it's not that difficult to bring one over the other. So, we finally decided to order our food. I won't get into the details of everyone's else's dinner, just mine. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, I had been craving a cheeseburger all day! The food came and it was disgusting! It looked like my plate had been sitting in the kitchen for an hour under a heat lamp! The burger was flat, the top bum was hard and the bottom was soggy. The cheese was dry along with the cold and bone dry patty. The veggies that come along with the burger all looked like they were pulled out of a dehydrator. The lettuce, tomato, and onions were flat an wilted. My fries also had that soggy taste that they get after they were microwaved to be heated up! I sent it all back and didn't pay for a thing in front of me! Let me also throw in that my 6 year old nephew had already eaten dinner before we got there so all he wanted was an ice cream, they never brought it out! We had to remind the waitress for the ice cream and when it finally did come out, it was a sad pathetic looking scoop served on a hot plate! Half the ice cream had already melted away! This is the most annoying place I have ever been to. Took almost 45 minutes to get a drink while I'm typing I still have not received my first drink. No bar backs no help, no communication. I cannot even describe how mad I am, this place should honestly be shut down how do you make money with such poor customer service. I'm baffled as to how many people it takes to make one damn margarita. I hope that management reads this and makes changes cause this establishment is horrid. When we first approached the restaurant a waitress was smoking outside the front door. Then about 5 minutes after walking into the bar we were approached by the manager who was the best part of this experience. He took our drink order and got them for us. Our waiter came up and took and appetizer order and never took an entree order in the HOUR that we were there. If only the serving staff was as great as the manager. read more

Went to eat last night around 10:15 pm sat down right away but waiter/waitress never came around to take our drink order I had to get up and go ask for service took forever with the drinks. we finally ordered food/appetizers and the waiter came around 2-3 times saying your food will be out in a few mintues more like 30 min or so. Went in for a lunch after track meet in Humble, TX. About 1120am on a Sunday. Nobody there so we thought we beat the Church crowd. We ordered tea for drinks and that was the worst tea we've ever had. We ordered about 1140am and our two salad appetizers arrived in 15 minutes. There were 5 of us. 1215 the rest of the food was still not there. Finally about 1225 the food arrived. Stale rice, nasty potatoes, nasty chicken, they were out of soup advertised, just over all not good service or food. First time and last time I'll ever go there. Maybe it's just that Applebee's. My 1st time here and the service was great. My waiter was very attentive and nice. He checked backed regularly. The food was ok it wasn't seasoned much. I had put alot of salt on my fries and burger. The burger tasted like they just cooked ground meat and forgot to add seasoning. I dont thinknit was work 10.90 just for a burger and fries. read more

I am so over this Applebee's in particular. Every time I go they mess up my order! One time they messed up my order and I came back and they gave the order to the right guy but he was upset because he thought they should redo the order! Which I understood, but they didn't and didn't care. The workers are always playing around in the kitchen, never paying attention. The food was great but the service and order accuracy was HORRIBLE! We ordered online for pickup. Our first try to pickup was late and was missing two items from our online order. We went back to pick up the missing item and the manager insisted there was no shrimp on our order. When I called back and the manager was able to confirm the shrimp was on the original online order and it was their mistake. The manager proceeded to tell me that I needed to come back to the store for a THIRD time in order for them to process a refund. This is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had and the manager didn't seem to care or try to rectify something that was CLEARLY their fault. I would strongly recommend you SKIP this particular Applebees.... Food is good (as always with Applebees) but if this is how the Manager treats people, God only knows how their staff treat people.
