If I could give this place a negative star I would! My food was extremely cold, like they didn't even try to warm my food up!

Heather was amazing! The whole staff was great it was hard to tell they were short staffed. Their smiles and work ethic really filed the gaps. Every table appeared seated & satisfied. 30 seconds in the door we are greeted and seated. Our waitress Heather took our drink orders and everything was smooth. Our food came out in a reasonable time and was delicious. After a long day this was the best place to enjoy a meal & just relax with family. Thank you so much to the whole team. Service is better in the morning!!! I came in at 11:40pm the fact we got here before another group of the same amount of people and were sat before us sucks! They gave them the table we were suppose to be getting and waited for . This location didn't follow covid restrictions when they were in place. My family went their a few weeks ago and we counted five employees including the shift manager not wearing a mask. Went last night. We were seated promptly along with another table by the hostess. We sat for 15 min with no server greeting us. They just kept walking by. So I asked to speak with a manager. Then all of a sudden s server appears to take our drink order. The server was great, fast, and apologized for us waiting so long. This tells me they knew what the problem was. Someone knew we were waiting longer than we should have and someone sent him to us. Although he was great and apologized, a manger never came to our table as requested. The worst part is after the fact, I read the reviews and I see this has happened often at this location. read more

We have been coming to this location for a few years. There are chronic issues with staffing levels. It is normal to take five minutes to be greeted, although there are often several employees in sight. This past time, we went at 2:00pm on a Saturday. It took minutes to be greeted. Once seated, it took about 5 minutes to be greeted by the waitress. Once we received our drink, it was never refilled. Several people in the restaurant waited between 10 and 15 minutes to be greeted by a waitress. One of the waitresses was sitting down at one of the tables talking to what seemed like family for about 5 minutes. An hour later, no food, no drink refills and our waitress standing in the back, nowhere to be seen on the floor for long periods of time. We got up to ask her to check on it and after several minutes of her nowhere in sight, we asked the hostess to check on the food. No response, so we told the manager we had been waiting for an hour and he told us to have a nice day. One other table was walking out due to non-service at the same time and a group that had been waiting at the entrance without having been greeted walked out, as well. This isn't an isolated incident that can't be blamed on someone calling off. This is normal at this restaurant. As someone with a business background, I would suggest that corporate spend some time at this location and overhaul, or this location will be shut down sooner than later for non performance. Lots of missed revenue on a regular basis which could be fixed with some accountability and performance management. And no one had name tags on, including the manager. read more

A retail chain restaurant is just that, same old menu and different teasers to get you in. Not many options in this area for dinner so I tend to choose this one out of lack of options. The 1 thing that sets a chain location apart is the staff. Well this locations staff has been terrible for years, with many different managers, staff rotation is terrible and I've only had a couple of decent experiences there. Really wish they could get it together, the food is decent just dont expect miracles from the steaks. But the grill food is acceptable. read more

Went in tonight because I was craving some chicken wonton tacos, they were good, as usual. Ordered the fish and chips as my entree and once it arrived I went to cut into the fried fish and it wouldn't cut with my fork. I tried again with the same result. Started to pick at the fish with my fork and noticed that beneath the batter it was totally grey skin and very rubbery, scarcely any white meat on the fish at all. I immediately lost my appetite and sent it back. The manager and the GM comped the cost of the meal but I felt like very little was done to rectify the situation. Honestly the worst apple bees experience in my life my stomach still hurts and it's day three the servers throw any trash inside the cups after customers leave ( filthy af) you'll notice an old lady always arguing with the servers about her tips in front of everyone which is pretty embarrassing.. If I could give this negative starts I would. This was my first time coming to this Applebee's and it's definitely my last! Our first server Tiffany was the worst, she was probably why I would never come here again. She got our food and drinks wrong and I figured she would since she wasn't paying any attention to us when we we walking to her. She was very rude. When she brought us our water I kid you not the was tasted like mop water when we told her all she said was "ughh omg why". When she came back she told us that our new server was going to be "some new guy", she didn't even know his name, like I said she was very rude. Before she left she told us that she had put our drink and food order in. When Adrian B brought us our food it was all wrong. So Applebee's... Not generally your main go to place. I mean the food is okay, but it's pretty mainstream. But as far as Applebee's goes this was probably the best one I've been too. The food was excellent, the server Alexia was awesome. She took care of business, made sure we had drinks, got out food out to us hot and fresh. She made sure we didn't need anything, but didn't bug is every five minutes. The prefect balance in a server. So if you want Applebee's and great service make sure you get her section. read more

Came in on a Monday night during a fairly busy night. Was sat down immediately by the host, but was not helped for 10+ mins. Server was very unfriendly, and was not attentive. We stopped in at this Applebee's prior to going to basketball practice near by. In hopes of getting a decent meal on a real plate, vs Buffalo Wild Wings and our food being served in a basket. We had a new server and she was friendly and that is why they are getting 2 stars, rather than 1 star. My sons dinner was in fact served on a tin plate, with paper under it. Our bill was incorrect and the food was average. Perhaps, because I frequent locally owned restaurants, not chains, I am a bit more critical than the average customer. My review is based on overall Applebee's experiences in the past and how this one stacked up. It's pretty busy with the exception being during the day, but the service and food were great. I ordered the build your own trio and it was as advertised when I picked wanton tacos, quesadilla towers, and wings. Stopped by on my way home for the evening (6/12/16 @ 9:00 PM.) Although I didn't see it advertised, I know that most or all Applebee's has a special that all appetizers are half-price after 9:00 PM. I ordered 2 orders of Boneless Honey BBQ wings. My waiter was not quick, nor was he slow, however after ordering my dinner, my waiter came up and said someone else will take care of me. I just had dinner here tonight with my parents and it was definitely a good experience! When we came in we were seated right away and the server came within just a few minutes to take our drink orders. We were a little indecisive, so she gave us time to decide and then promptly took our orders. I had the BBQ Brisket Tacos, which came with fries, and they were deeelicious! The tacos (3) were served in soft flour tortillas and consisted of the shredded barbecued brisket, which was tender, juicy and flavorful, and cheddar cheese, crispy onions, Mexi-ranch dressing, Texas BBQ sauce, and pico de gallo. This was not the first time I had had them, and I think they are becoming somewhat of a "go to" when I don't know what to get! The fries were tasty and a good combination of crunchy and soft--although maybe a little on the over-salted side. Our server was friendly and attentive but not overbearing, checking on us occasionally and coming back to refill our drinks. I had not been to this location but I have never had a bad experience at any other Applebees and this one did not disappoint. I will definitely be back. read more

The Applebee's located on Pendleton Pike generally has really good food. The restaurant is always clean when we are there and the servers are average. For this particular trip we ordered dinner on line and picked up curbside. The on line ordering process was pretty easy. In fact, a little better because they list everything included in the meal and give you the option to remove something you don't like. So it is pretty easy to remember to have those items you don't like removed before it is prepared. We had a pick up of about 6:30 pm and the meal was delivered to our car around 6:45. The chicken and salad was well prepared. Everything else was sub par and pretty much just thrown together with little attention to the meal or presentation of the meal. The sides were quite a bit smaller than if we would have just dined in. We are likely to go back but probably would not order curb side again. read more

The service was extremely slow. It took forever to get any kind of drink refill. When the food came there was less given at other locations, I.e the appetizer we got was the brew pub pretzels and we were give 2 on each one. At other stores there are enough for out party of 4. When we received our food it was well over being here for an hour and we had not had a drink refill for all that time. When we did get out food it was not very hot and one of the dishes was the honey pepper chicken and mac and cheese had none of the honey pepper sauce on the chicken. The southwest steak and black bean soup tasted like the steak was very old. The other 2 dishes were ok but not good. Then we waited for more that 30 minutes for our check all while most everyone that had came after us had eaten and left. I have been coming here for the past year with my client. He has a disability, and I had talked to the General Manager about getting him kids meals, because he isn't capable of eating all of his food with an adult meal. Today, my server took my order and the manager told him that we weren't allowed to order a kids meal. Our server tried everything he could to get us the kids meal. (He is the only reason I am giving this place two stars.) The manager then comes to my table, with an attitude, rolling her eyes and shaking her head the whole time walking to the table, at the table, and walking away from the table. All she said to me was, you can't get the kids meal, no I'm sorry that isn't an option, and didn't even provide an alternative option. She is a short woman, with brown hair. I have never seen her before, and I don't appreciate her attitude. Any other time I have an issue here the problem is solved right away, and all is good again. She doesn't follow the moto, "customer is always right" , she follows her own moto , "I'm right, and not losing money". My meal should have been around 40 dollars, but since I couldn't get the kids meal, I cancelled my meal and just shared the adult meal with my client. I do not appreciate this manager and will not be coming back here while she is here. She didn't even introduce herself, so I can't even provide a name. read more
