Last time was a bad experience so i decided to try again and when i walked in first thing I noticed, weird coincidence but the same customer at the bar was there I think he recognized me but I'm not sure, but besides from that the floor was no where near as dirty as last time but still a little dirty (like it hadn't been swept in a while, a interview was going on and that would normally be alright but it was lowkey like 10pm with my order I order the cheese dip for my pretzels and the waitress said she would get it then walked to the back then returned like 10 minutes later and I watched her look me in the eye then turn around then resurface a few minutes later with my cheese dip and I was hungry, you know how it is I couldn't wait to dig in so I was almost already done with my food by the time I could eat the pretzels cause how you gonna eat pretzels with no cheese dip but other than that the and the slow refills, but service was pretty chill and the food was kinda heat, My expectations were low but they proved me wrong. I had lunch at Applebee's in Jasper, Alabama, which I thought would be a good place to go eat my mistake. The food was horrible. The waitresses act like a bunch of young teenage girls farting with older man. The music was so loud you could not even have a conversation with the person that I was with, so I will not take a picture of the food it was that bad. How do you mess up just a hamburger I don't have a clue so I give Applebee's and Jasper Alabama a two stars maybe they'll do better. read more

Me and my dad went to this Applebees for Valentine's Day because my mom and my sister were in the hospital because she fell at a game but let me get back on topic this place is absolutely horrible and disgusting so first the workers were eating at the table right beside us we got there at 9 and when we walked in they said tell them we aren't open and we were the only black people but when the girl came and told us we're to sit we had to wait 15 minutes just to get a water and strawberry lemonade and all the people around us that has just got there got there food first I don't exactly remember what I got but it was very easy to make and the vibe was just not there but if you are hungry and in jasper and your black don't go here you will get treated like garbage i hope you don't have to experience what me and my dad experienced but have a amazing night or day!!! read more

My family and I arrived at 12:30 for lunch. We gave our order.The waitress said they had only one cook. 45 minutes later I asked for our appetizer at least. 30 minutes later after asking again she gave us our appetizer. I asked a passing bartender, since our waitress hadn't been our way, about our food. We were there 2 1/2 hours with only our appetizer. My sister asked for our bill that we were going somewhere else. One of the employees said no charge. My sister said this is your third strike ( other 2 times we went there was awful)we wouldn't be back. Went in to watch the NASCAR race. Asked if they could change one of the TVs to NASCAR. The lady behind the bar tried a few times and then started to get extremely frustrated. Don't get me wrong the food isn't bad and the service is decent, but Melissa S is what brings us back to this place. if I could put a zero I would and I normally would not be someone to post a bad review. My husband has now gotten FOUR steaks completely raw. We had doordash deliver, and ordered the steak medium when typically we'd order a medium rare but because we have had the previous experience of the steak being raw we asked for it to be cooked longer, and we could barely get a fork through it. The steak comes with broccoli and mashed potatoes and the potatoes were completely raw as well and the broccoli had stickers all on the inside of the bowl. I was so excited to eat here because it's a new restaurant in Jasper, and that doesn't happen very often! I ordered the chicken fingers and French fries and they were average. Nothing to complain about, but nothing special either. My husband ordered the Mexican chicken with rice and they brought him mashed potatoes and no rice. I ordered mashed potatoes and they didn't bring me any. We told the waitress and they brought him rice out after we had finished eating all of our other food, and it was hard and cold so he didn't eat any of it. The waitress was very nice, but slow and only filled our glasses up once. The atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant seemed very clean which is a big positive. Burned ribs & cold French fries. The waitress was sitting at a table with her friends instead of working. When our food was finally cooked she brought it & dropped a large container of sauce that went on both of my pants legs & leather shoes. After I called it to her attention she barely said she was sorry & didn't offer to give me napkins. I complained & she brought 4 tiny finger wipes. The spilled sauce was left in floor she never covered it up. I laid napkins over it then the manager went to her table behind us & never cleaned it up. I told him there was sauce under napkins so he picked them up but didn't clean floor. The entire time we were there she only waited on our table & sat behind us with her boyfriend & ate her salad. I ask to speak to manager & finally he came up front & I told him what happen. A new pair of shoes & pants are ruined! If you eat there wear rubber boots & old pants. Went to the establishment in Jasper, AL for my husbands birthday lunch. He order a steak and the meat was bad, the nice waitress brought another but that meat was bad as well. The manager only came out to our table when we asked for her. She was unkept, hair a mess, uniform dirty, no name badge. Extremely unprofessional when my 73 year old mother discussed the issue, but she not only charged for the 1st bad steak but charged her for the 2nd bad steak!!!! And he didn't even eat one bite!! Eventually when the waitress got her to LISTEN she removes the 2nd charge but unbelievable experience. I can see why Applebee's are closing in a lot of towns. Poor management. We stopped at Applebee's in Jasper this afternoon for a late lunch @ 2:30, not lunch rush, and was seated after the hostess cleaned a table for us. A question, why was the tables not already cleaned when the hostess was setting down when we entered the restaurant? When we were seated we waited for over ten minutes for a waitress to show up to take our drink order, remember this is mid afternoon when it is not busy. We waited another ten minutes to get our drinks and got up and left. Don't plan on going back either. Where was the manager? We have been going to Applebee's in Jasper since it opened several years ago. At first it was somewhat inexpensive, nice crowd, good food, and good service. The restaurant began to decline during COVID and the number of patrons and servers dwindled. When inflation hit in 2021-22 prices escalated. A large Brutus went from $3.49 to $3.99 and filled to no more than 2" from the top. There was one female bartender that was always cranky and unhesitant to throw items and curse. Personally, I recommend Garfield's in the Jasper Mall. read more

We waited 15 minutes after being seated for drink orders, and only got them then when we complained to the hostess. The drinks were wrong even then. It was another 15 before our waiter even came to the table for us to order. A Salad came out 30 minutes after we ordered. But only after I got up and hunted our waiter down to remind him. 45 minutes later, after another talk with the manager, we got our food. Food tasted great. Service was abysmal.
