Last night me and my friend ordered Carside To-Go from Applebee's. We both were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with our meals, which came out to over $60 since Applebee's decided to charge me for each items that's included on my entree!! I don't understand why or how that cost became to be. We both got a fajita dinner. I got the Trio fajitas and my friend got the Chicken fajitas. For starters, everything was room temperature and NOT HOT AT ALL. Secondly, our food portion sizes were REMARKABLY small. The "grilled veggies" were basically raw vegetables and they used WAY too many onions. There were more raw veggies than rice and chicken! The best part of the meal was the spinach and artichoke dip. However, everything else was a MAJOR FLOP. I expected a lot more from Applebee's, I dont think that I would recommend them after this though. read more

This is the worst Applebee's In the CITY! . Food is never fresh. Meat always taste days old. I got a slab of ribs and omg the were BONE dry. No sauce and dry in the inside. I recently went a couple weeks ago my girlfriend and I both got a "whisky burger" we literally lefts 5 mins after getting our food and she threw up when we got home she said he burger tasted funny. My burger was also bloody ( I get mines well done) just never come to this one if you want Applebee's. read more

Quesadilla burger was phenomenal and I tried their Halloween themed cocktails for pick up. The tipsy zombie wasn't really my thing but the dracula juice was so delicious! It really exceeded expectations! They got my order right as far as subbing chicken for beef and removing bacon which some places mess up so I'm very happy! read more

This has been by far the worst takeout experience I have had. Keep in mind, I paid online and in advance. - I checked in online And no one came out for another 10 minutes. -when the employee came out, he asked for my name and went to check on my order. -he came back 10 minutes later and said there was no order under my name. - I showed him the confirmation and he said he would check again and be back. - Manager came out 20 minutes later and asked for my name. She said she would check to see if it was ready. - She came back out 10 minutes later with my order. With no apology, she at least said have a nice day. By the way, There were only about six other cars that have come and gone while I was there. So it was not like they were overwhelmingly busy. I placed a car side to go order at 7pm, the email showed the pickup time as 7:35pm, arrived at 7:37pm to pickup the order. Upon arriving marked our car as here for our order pickup. We weren't acknowledged by any employees until 7:50pm. And didn't actually receive our food until 8:07pm! We were told "sorry" unapologetically when we asked about the 30+ minute wait and was given no actual explanation. The food was cold by the time we had it in our vehicle but with the ridiculous wait and poor service from the staff, didn't want a replacement. I know a lot of people that get food poisoning here, and last time I went there was hair in my microwaved food... lol this place is okay for going to get those cheap apps, stay away from anything pasta cheese or meat if you like your stomach. The mozzarella sticks have always been safe. food poisoning isn't fun, lol once called there to let them know which dish made my friend sick so they could throw away the batch or at least check their freezer or fridge and the manager actually disagreed. "Well I ate the same thing you ate and I'm fine" ... I was given the opportunity to try Applebee's yet again. However, the wonderful experience was more of a icky one. We were seated quickly, given menus, and time to order. That was perfect! Then came time to order. Which we did and our food came out quickly. It was almost too quickly, like we were eating our main dish in less then fifteen minutes. That's never happened to me, but quick service is new to me. And so are quick dishes, so net we were given plates to share food on. And I almost put my food on it. Now I'm staring at plates, not just one, that still had food from a previous meal on them. No big deal, I let the waitress know, and she took them back. Only to bring out more plates with leftovers on them. That was alarming for it to happen twice. So we just decided to eat from the dish itself. However, the food came out looking decent, but the plates from before made us weary. We didn't find anything on them, at least we hope. Again I checked in on yelp for a free appetizer...but didn't actually want to eat the food after those plates. Please check your dishes before eating! read more

Poor service. We placed a to-go order. Waited 10 minutes AFTER our scheduled time. Mind you, I scheduled the time out over an hour to when we would pick it up because we were out shopping and wanted to be safe. Then the entrees were eh. Looked like mine was flipped upside down in the box and they were cold. Good thing it was free since we had a gift card to spend - that's the only reason we went. I used to frequent the bees. I may have only been to one ever that I would give 4 stars or more to. I'd say this is a just above average Bees. Food is fine, what you'd expect from the Bees. I like those 1/2 off apps. I'd say just above because I thought the server, host, and manager were really good (wish I remembered their names). We went out for lunch today with another couple. They seemed satisfied with their meal. My husband and I were disappointed with ours. I ordered a taco salad and because of diet restrictions, I requested it be served without the taco shell bowl and guacamole. They served it to order, but it was the most flavorless taco salad I have ever had! The hamburger was not seasoned with taco seasoning so it just tasted like hamburger salad. My husband ordered the potato soup and a half sandwich. The soup had maybe two tiny pieces of potato! We were happy with the service, but the food left much to be desired! This is the first time we have been to Applebee's in years. Today we were reminded why it has been so long. We won't be hurrying back. read more

So i'd just done some shopping at the nearby Target and Gamestop, and I was feeling that urge in my stomach. You know, that urge that can only be satisfied with something nice and cheesy that fits on a bun... yep. It was cheezburger time. Not really being in the mood for a fast-food cheezburger, well, I decided to take a shot in one of the few sit-down restaurants. I chose the neighborhood Applebee's. Have to admit, though, the place was crowded- and somehow I ended up at my own small table, even though there were couples waiting to be seated. The table itself was sticky and a few crumbles of cheese were left on it, apparently from the last diner (-1 star for that). So I get a look at the menu, and order the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and a cheezburger combo with Mountain Dew to drink. The drink and sticks come first, and I have to admit- they were pretty good. They'd be better if I didn't have to choke blazing hot cheese down with only a drip or two of liquid while I waited for my waitress to show up with a refill. That took about ten minutes. (-1 star for inattentive waitstaff) So, finally, my cheezburger came, and it was actually decent- the fries were almost covered in some kind of tangy cheese-like product- I expect it either to be blue or feta cheese from someone else's dish. It was okay, I guess. Finally, as I was leaving, I paid with my last $20- hey, dinner was $18, and now the waitress who gave me crappy service is eyeing the pair of ones in my hand like a hungry shark. When I put them back in my pocket, I get a dirty look. I'm sorry, but tips are for people who do a GOOD job. (-1 star for greedy waitress) That leaves us with a rating of two stars. If you have to come here, at least bother the management to get some Western Michigan gear to put on the wall. read more

I'm usually not a fan of chain restaurants anyway but I have been to this location a few times (at the request of others) and each time has been kind of a mess. Orders are constantly messed up and are often served cold (on all occasions people that I am with have had to send back food for either being too cold or being the wrong order.) Granted the staff is always apologetic but just get it right in the first place and it's not an issue. I think they are just lacking in talented cooks/chefs. Also the service is really slow..not the fault of the wait staff but again that can be blamed on the cook line. I also really wish there were more vegetarian options....or any vegetarian options for entrees for that matter. read more

My daughter and I went for lunch on August 10th. they were not very busy and we were seated right away. That's when things went down hill. The waiter was slow and not very attentive. We placed our order and after it was served we never saw our waiter again. The one good thing was our food was good. My daughter had to go to the bar to get refills on our drinks. The 2 couples seated near us never got to place their order. We ended up stopping another waitress to get a manager. He wasn't much help either. He was more concerned about where the waiter might be then us. the manager finally got us a bill. We left and will probably never return. read more

I am a big Applebee's fan, but recent visits have made me question their mission. They have a new self ordering system which is confusing and unnecessary, the server is spending too much time showing everybody how the new system works instead of connecting with the customer and doing the ordering for them, which is why people go out to eat. Remember, people go back to restaurants because of a good experience which is often times the result of having a great server. I suppose this new system might work if the servers aren't very good, or if there are a lot of tech-savvy younger customers. read more

I love their online ordering and curb side pick up! I order as I'm leaving work and pull into their parking lot and within about 2 minutes they run my good out to me! It is great! My favorite is steak with yummy shrimp sauce on top with broccoli and garlic mash potatoes or their Asian chicken salad! The quality of the food is always outstanding!! read more

OMG! Inever expected the food to be so amazing. My friend and I used the 2 for $25 offer and with that we got 2 appetizers and we bought a third which we got free because of the Yelp coupon. I got the French onion soup and he got a salad and then we shared spinach artichoke dip which was filled with "spectacularness".... they make their own corn crisps. Then we got shrimp on the one free Bar appetizer from the Yelp coupon. For dinner I had the Bourbon Steak which was absolutely perfectly prepared and yummy as can be and my friend got a chicken dish which he also said was great. This is usually our go to place meeting traveling relatives during the holiday season. As a rule they are consistently dependable for the food and service. This evening they were about 80-90% capacity and easy pace traffic. That considered, I'm giving this location three only because of the waitress effort and attention. It took way to long for my mixed drink to arrive with the waitress apologizing twice for its lateness. It was so weak it looked like tinted water and tasted the same. I sen TV it back and ordered a Pepsi. It was no where near the proper mix ratio. Most of the food tasted ok but not a proper serving temperature. This is a chain that does the same menu every day and there is no reason for this kind of performance. It isn't rocket science. read more

I ordered a car side to go. They didn't bring out all of our order so we had to go back. When we called we were told we would get a free desert for the inconvenience. When they brought out the rest of our order they didn't bring out the free dessert, so once again we had to wait even longer. When we finally got the dessert it was half a scoop of ice cream and a brownie. I do not recommend coming here as the service is terrible and slow. read more

Came to Applebee's for a some drinks and then decided to get food. The first round of drinks took at least 10 minutes and then it continued to get worse. Our server was Conner and he was no help to the situation. Instead of helping and getting someone to get the help us he preceded to throw his hands in the air and do nothing. The food came 30 seconds after our drinks did and we planned on having 2 drinks before eating and then having a few more. We had one drink while eating and one after. Conners excuse was he had no cups but we had 3 empty ones on the table that could have been refilled. Horrible. No excuses I've worked in a restaurant for over 5 years and never done this bad! read more

If I could give a zero I would , I will be sure to never come back , the only positive thing I left this place with was our friendly waiter , although they seem to be short staffed since he would disappear for long periods of time , let's start, I am a vegetarian( I should've known not to go ) , I thought I'd just look for a dish I liked and ask for it without the meats , so I went for a shrimp wonton stir fry rice , and I asked the shrimp be on the side , I got my plate , everything was great , until less than half way into the plate I notice it has shrimp, It seemed they just cooked it normally then removed the shrimps from my plate (unfortunately missing one ) when I had explained to the manager what the problem was he just asked if I'm allergic and when I said no but I don't eat shrimp at allll he just didn't seem to care that much although he offered they make another and after persisting I approved , not only did it take 45 minutes to finish ( we had also ordered something like a lava cake ) which came before my plate , my plate came back in a box ( which I asked for because it had been so long my company was ready to leave ) when the box arrived , it was half the quantity and without the wontons ( I'll add pictures ) BUT HERES THE GOOD PART my rice had pieces of chicken AND MY ORDER DOESNT EVEN ORIGINALLY HAVE CHICKEN ,,; I was disgusted, and all the manger could do was apologize , didn't even take our number for future reference ,,,, read more
