Me and my friends were really craving Applebees after not eating anything all day. we get there get seated within 10 minutes and there's no customers there at all, we sit down and our server was very just not there. Then it took about 1 hour to get our chips and queso and there were barely any chips and the queso was halfway filled. We then end up getting our food I barely ate anything maybe took a few bites bc of how long the wait was I wasn't even hungry anymore. We all end up leaving and not even 5 minutes later me and all my friends are feeling like death. FOOD POISONING!!! I should have read the reviews, but we were hungry and we've done ok at this chain in the past. Food, actually pretty awful, spouse just wanted the grilled chicken salad that was on the website menu, but it wasn't on the inside menu, no problem, the waiter said they could make it. Came out with no dressing offered so had to track the server down for that. The lettuce was this awful no color and bland. I had a southwest style salad with chimichuri sauce that overpowered the salad (that is not on the online menu), overall food was 2/5 at best. The service was remarkable given there was one waiter running his butt off taking orders and serving (while the manager/host stood around drinking his drink watching the waiter work, I mean couldn't he fill drink glasses. It was the waiter who took us to our table, not the host.). The ambiance was ok given the place was nearly empty, which brings to mind the waiter first tried to seat us next to a table with noisy kid playing on a loud handheld game. If I could give a zero I would! This place has HORRIBLE service. The wait staff are never around but can be heard in the back laughing and joking around. People us included, standing and waiting to be seated while they continue to talk and not acknowledge. When we finally got seated the service took forever. More than an hour we wait to only get food that was cold. It was sent to be reheated. This isn't a one off. We've given them multiple shots just to make sure we aren't crazy, but every time it's the same thing. We tried to eat at this restaurant at 8:15pm on Saturday 2/9. We were a party of 6 and when we walked it we were told it would be about a 15 minute wait. That seemed reasonable and we could see that there were a lot of open tables but several needed to be cleaned so we figured that was the delay. There was not a hostess working, it was the bartender that gave us the wait time. We waited a little over 20 minutes before flagging someone down to ask about our table. He said he would check for us and after about 5 minutes he came back to tell us that it would be another 15-20 minutes. We did a quick count and saw over a dozen tables that were empty including at least 4 in active sections of the dining area. I don't know what was going on but the fact that the restaurant was that empty on a Saturday night gave us a pretty good indication of what the locals think of this place. We left and had our dinner at Bone Daddy's instead, we will NEVER give this Applebee's another chance at our business. read more

Went here SOLELY because I had a coupon...only to find out THiS Applebee's will not honor Applebee's coupons. The waitress said lots of people had come in to redeem them but the manager wouldn't let her. Not would he let her put a note on the door stating they would not honor them.
