They gave me a sliver of a brownie. So, I ordered a second plate. I did not complain.... I was super nice about it and still was got a sliver a second time! If I put the slivers together I get half a brownie. I took a picture of it before I touched it. The fork head was bigger then the slice both times. My friend got a normal sized slice so I assumed the 2nd slice would be normal. Instead of giving me a normal size they did it again. I assume they gave me a similar size to conceal their error. I have been here lots of times. It is not supposed to be such a small size. These are shady waitresses. Last time we went they added $16 to our tip on the card. Worst food and service ever!!! Had a party of 12 for a birthday dinner. Since our party was so large we came early 530pm as not to interfere with the busy time. When we walked in there were at the most 3 tables of customers. It took 2 hours to get our food. Once the food finally came they had completely orders for 4 of us, so we had to wait another 45 minutes to get those orders and 3 of them were incorrect when they finally did arrive. Three of us ordered the same dish and neither of us could eat it due to being way too salty, and I love salt lol. Both of the people who ordered steak medium said their steak was like beef Jerry. The manager came out to speak with us and was completely condescending. We were not there to cause any issues and were not rude in any way, just wanted to get together as family and share a good meal. I think the only two employees who deserve a shout out are the hostess who seated us and the bartender that tried to help. This was awful. Was told (rudely) it was a 15-20 min wait when the restaurant was not even 1/3 full. Asked if we could sit at the bar, and was told (again, rudely) "i guess." The bar was not clean. The counter had sticky stuff caked on it and was obvious it had not been cleaned in a while. Asked the bartender to wipe it down and she couldn't even find a towel so she used dry paper towels. Once they were out, they were all wrong so me and my guest told her what we all ordered, and she tried to fix it but it came out even more messed up. But we had been there for 3 hours at that point so we just payed it. We came here for a family dinner tonight and they told us that for a table of 7, we would have to wait for the other waitress to come in. That was fine, as we were told it would only be a 10 minute wait. People began to flood into the restaurant and nobody was being seated because they were waiting on this waitress. If I could give zero stars I would. Through the Applebee's app, I placed an order for pickup and PAID for food. When I got to the restaurant I was told no ticket went through and that no refund could be given, nor food made. Man, I hope our bartender finds a new job she truly enjoys. Opening up your table "I can't wait until 4:00" at 3:20 makes us feel extremely inconvenient to your JOB. I decided let's try to wait until her shift was over. (We rather waste 40 minutes and that should say something) She complained and threw every single coworker under the bus throughout the end of her shift and left her relief to do the rest of her dirty work. I don't care if the dishwasher was broken (I, as a customer, shouldn't even know that) and you have to wash by hand. Things happen, and when they do you pull together as a TEAM and make it work. The best thing I can say about this American style restaurant is that it is very hit or miss, today it was a hit. I enjoy Applebee's but it is not reliable. The Club House Grill is one of my favorite sandwiches on the menu, but every once in a while it is served cold. The manager took my meal off the ticket- much appreciated. He said they had a brand new cook on the line whose first day was today. Every Applebee's I've ever eaten at has been a bad experience. I was tired and delusional enough to think this one would be different. Called in the order and had to repeat it back multiple times. Got there 5 minutes AFTER the time I was told it would be ready, still had to wait another 15. Waitress seemed confused about the whole process and manager was sitting at the bar making bad jokes about the bartender using the pump cork puller. He saw the frustration of myself and another guy waiting and didn't say a word. Finally got the food and got back to the rest of the family. Order was all wrong. Out of four meals, only one had correct sides. And they all had something missing (ranch dressing) or wrong (bbq sauce on the ribs instead of dry). Finally got my wife to agree to NEVER eat Applebee's again. Its like Chili's for people who have made bad (worse) life choices. read more

Went in there for an early dinner and sat at the bar, the bartender said "welcome to Applebee's" and asked what I was drinking told her I'd just want a Sweet tea/lemonade mix. So she comes back with it and hands it to me and then I proceeded to taste it and something was a little off but I figured they didn't add a lot of sugar to the batch... nope turns out they just put unsweet tea and lemonade together and put sugar in it... ITS TEXAS WHO TF DOES THAT?? and at that point I just said hey can I switch it out for a coke? She didn't even acknowledge me or anything she just took it and that was it. It's been 10 mins at this point and had no menu so I finally told her I'm ready to make an order! And she just stared at me. I told her that I don't have a menu and at the time I saw the combo classic on the screen and told her to give me that. Haven't really been out since this whole COVID-19 stuff being going on but was craving something good and a nice stiff drink lol! I stopped by Applebee's for something quick to eat. The place was fairly busy and everybody had something going on. The highlight of the night was this very friendly server lady name MERLO! She was very helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable of the menu. She literally took care of us. I'm kinda tight on money so my tip wasn't as big as I'd like because she really went out of her way for us but I promised her I'll be back with more for her. First impressions are key! With that said, there's a right way and a wrong way to say something. Knocking on your table in the bar area and saying " this table isn't part of the bar, you need to wait to be seated" by the bartender is NOT THE RIGHT WAY. Well, so karma is a decisive bitch. My group then sat at the bar. I made sure to let bartender Carlos know he was now going to serve me (as I knocked on the bar), and I was going to choose on whether how much I would tip....he was shocked and turned and walked away.
