I was stopping in at this Manteca Applebee's location for some great lunch. They have my fave Really Big Meal Deal for $9.99 that includes a big bacon cheeseburger and endless fries along with a refillable drink. But what I did notice is there's a new appetizer on the menu I haven seen before. I like getting the appetizers here cause they're half off between 3pm and 6 pm everyday. This new appetizer isn't included in the half off deals though. This new appetizer is called Bacon Cheeseburger Won Ton Crispy Tacos. They look very similar to the chicken wonton crispy tacos, but with a different filling. Well, damn, I gotta try those, even though the $10 meal deal Bacon Cheeseburger and fries is already a lot of food, but I just gotta give there a try! I ordered my Really Big Meal Deal for $10 as well as this new Bacon Cheeseburger Crispy Wonton Tacos. The server was familiar with the options I picked out. I subbed onion rings for the fries this time. The interior was clean and neat like most Applebee's locations. The food arrives with the appetizers first. They do look pretty dang tasty and the shells seem a little more crispy than the chicken versions. The taste is super nice, more outward flavor than the chicken version, that IS on the happy hour offerings. I'd get this again, you should give it a try. Stopped in for quick lunch while charging car on the way to Lake Tahoe. They have good lunch specials so we got the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich and a salad. Service was fast and food was perfect for our needs. It was quiet on a Wednesday afternoon, only a few tables taken but it looked clean and well kept. read more

We usually come over here for happy hour after 9pm. The drink specials are good and the appetizers are decent. The service is really good though. It's pretty fun when they do bar bingo around 10pm. There's not much to do in Manteca at night so you have to find fun where you can unless you want to head up to Stockton or Modesto. read more

Great service and for a busy Wednesday but that seemed due to graduating celebrations being had. The deals are very affordable and the food is great. My server was fast and brought out everything and more than me ever having to ask for much and our flow was straight forward with nothing for me to complain about but to say that it was definitely a worth it visit. My company didn't order the all you can eat and didn't even finish her meal but the leftovers that came home were still delicious the next day. A solid two star experience. Service was mediocre at best. Food was $40 quality $80 price. The chicken tortilla soup met expectations. Salmon looked like they beaten it with a fly swatter. Blue cheese salad dressing tasted like creamy vinegar. Salad brought out with the entree. No spoons brought out with soup. Bathroom was abysmal. Floor covered in about 1 cm of water. Instead of cleaning it up they put out a wet floor sign. One of the sinks doesn't work. The only redeeming factor, the restaurant is right next to the electrify America charging station where I successfully charged my car. Recommend not stopping at this Applebee's. read more

My cousin and I came in here the other night for the all you can eat ribs shrimp and chicken wings. Seem like a good deal plus it was a hot night so we didn't feel like cooking it was close by wanted to try it out. This is the second time I've been here the first time was not very good so I thought maybe I'd give it a try since it's been a couple years since I've been here. Food was okay restaurant was clean it looked like it was busy because it was graduations. I could not believe the volume of the music in the restaurant it was so loud in the bar area that you couldn't hear yourself talk the service was great food was okay but the music was so loud it didn't make my eating experience that good. I couldn't even say what they were so I got a new drink, and the bartender said that it should be clean. I looked in the glass and it was still dirty. I drink it anyway. NEVER RETURNING THERE! Me and my husband went there for our third anniversary, we just wanted to have a nice dinner in a "cheap" place, well, the worst dinner ever and not even close to cheap. The food arrived an hour after we placed the order. To start off, we asked for appetizers and they were all burned out. I got wings and my husband got the little chicken tacos and they had no meat! It was all cabbage! For the sodas it seemed like the machine broke because the Pepsi tasted more like Clorox water. On our plates, everything was also bad, I got the Alfredo chicken pasta, and the pasta that was supposed to be linguine looked more a mashed potatoes. My pasta was so overcooked that it was literally mashed pasta. It was nasty. My husband got one of those plates with a meat cut and mashed potatoes with mushroom, he asked for medium raw and the meat was burned. His mashed potatoes were ok but for the mushrooms he only got ONE! It was just a bunch of leftover onions from the grill and ONE MUSHROOM! Omg it was so bad! Plus I have to mention that we had our stroller with our 6 month old baby sleeping and they didn't allowed us to have it there, good thing we have the doona car seat and we turned the stroller into the baby carrier- mode. I don't know but this police of stroller is nonsense to me, we always go out and they've never told me anything like that before in other restaurants. We were greeted with a smile right at the door. We were seated right away since it was a weekday in the later afternoon. Server came and took our orders after 10/15 mins which was fine since we had to use the restroom first. Ordered and the food took a while to come, and the little ones are hungry. Again, fries was good and the kids loved it. She gave it a 3/5 since the fries was good. Then our food came. We ordered the special deal for $25 two meals with an appetizer. You can choose any appetizer so we choose boneless wings with less sauce on the side. Chicken was super duper good with the honey rub. Crunchy and delicious so definitely highly recommend. The steak, mashed potato & broccoli was ok. I loved how the steak wasn't too tough to eat and flavor is not too salty. Didn't like the mashed potatoes since it tasted like powdered one. Since I moved to Manteca, this place has been my go to... with my friend/s... and even just grabbing a quick dinner. Always full with guests and happy atmosphere. I met a server there, and she's been there I don't know how long. She's so nice and since she would always stop to quick chat with me. Made me feel so comfortable even when I'm alone. The food is something you already expected from a chain of restaurants... nothing special but, it's best serve with care from a good server. read more

I like Applebee's food. The waitresses are nice. Service is good. You might say why is the one star then? Well, I have their app and for the last half an hour my wife and I have been trying to log into our account. Applebee's website practically makes that impossible. After entering my email and password they ask me to enter a code that is practically impossible to read on the small screen of my phone. So I make mistakes. That results in having to try to guess and enter a new code. But then I realize that in the process they deleted my password so even I enter the code and hope for the best my login again unsuccessful. So I enter my password but now I'm presented s new code. And do forth and so on. Applebee's I have a message for you. Screw you and your stupid system. You just lost a couple off customers. read more

We sat with some friends who happened to be there and that was the great ambiance! The wings ice cold! I sent them back. Then our meals. The chicken was so over fried you couldn't even chew it! The ribs so dry and over cooked they were string! Here come those wings-bone in. Try to find the server. Finally! I sent them back AGAIN. New ones came when we were done. He asked how everything was. I explained it all and asked for a manager. "We don't have one right now"! I was DONE! When u see 5 employees just standing there laughing and doing nothing, your cooks have no idea what they're doing, and your servers are inexperienced you have issues!
