If I could pick zero stars or - amount of stars I would!! SO... I made a purchase last night which they messed up and I had to go back twice, I don't have a legit pic form of id because of sec of state but the first time refused me for a mojito ....the second time I came back they charge me for FOUR Mojito's!!! HOW are they able to be served to me when I was denied the first time? then when I came home the first time all they had for me was my appetizers in a bag I called the second time I go back they have just the entrees in the bag but they charge over $110 and then the tip was $10 for $41 and then another bazaar tip for a mess up they did to begin with!!! I would like to speak to someone regarding this not at this location but at a higher ranking position because to be honest it's bullshit and I am very unhappy the food wasn't good it was cold my steak wasn't cooked the way it was supposed to be and the noodles were hard didn't hear me complain about that to the manager though until she won't refund me any of my money and they double charged us never again will you have our business or any of our friends and family read more

We stopped here after power shopping because I got a coupon in the Swag Bag from the mall. But I didn't need it, because you can check in on Yelp and get a free appetizer. I got the steak quesadilla and my sister got the Thai shrimp salad. We both got drinks and cheered making it thru Thanksgiving weekend, with a Friendsgiving thrown in! We had been rocking and rolling all weekend and were powering down. Our server was great-he was a pro and kept things moving. We played the tableside game and had a great time. This use to be 5 star a few years ago. Deducting stars because portion sizes have shrank, prices gone up, and the quality of the steaks have dropped. They do a decent job preparing the steaks, but there's too much grissle too often. read more

Ridiculous. They tricked me. Ordered on app and when I got here they said I have to wait an hour. They said unfortunately they have no way of letting us know that they are backed up even though they could of texted me. This is the best Applebees in Southeast Michigan! The servers are always smiling. The manager comes around to check on your meal and best of all, the food is delicious! The location makes is very convenient when shopping because it's near Kohls, the Mall, Hobby Lobby, and other stores. We had Jacqueline as a server. Ask for her, she's great! read more

Typically, I only pick from a couple of different entrees at Applebee's. Not my fav food/place but we go occasionally because it's in a convenient location. Went there after Church last Sunday and tried something new, Honey Pepper Mac N' Cheese. Not a fan. I like my bacon crispy and this dish came loaded with tiny pieces of chewy bacon thoughout the cheese sauce. Not to mention, please refrain from chopping the parsley - makes it extremely hard to pick off. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for our waitor, TJ. He was very friendly, attentive and helpful. I had the American Standard Hamburger. The idea of having all your toppings inside the burger sounds good at first....but it really isn't. Couldn't taste any of them. I had to request pickles, onion, tomato to put on it, after eating about a third of it. The burger was a lot smaller then I thought it would be for $9.99 and I had minimal fries with the order. My wife had the Napa Chicken and Portobello. I was very envious as I could smell and see the food. Had a taste of it and it was VERY good. This is my first review and I was not pleased with the service and management. Not to mention the restaurant was invested with ants. At first we did not realize it until it was time to leave, but the ants were inside the crevices of the seat cushions. I mean hundreds. Had to ask the server for everything. Refills, straws, correct check, etc. We told the manager about the ants and we were given 2 free appetizers for future use. Glad we don't live near there, because we will never go back. read more

i am unsatisfied with the service. the waiters and waitresses were mixing up orders. after we ordered we all got our food except for one of us. we asked the waitress about it and it took another 4-5 minutes until we got his food. after we finished, we were unsatisfied with the taste of the chicken in the triple cheese chicken penne. the chicken tasted rubbery and was just off tasting. it was also one of the members in the groups birthday. we asked for a birthday brownie, and it was told to be given to us. we never got the brownie. when we went to pay the lady asked if we wanted change back and as one of our members were finishing up a conversation she assumed we didn't want our change back. i am very disappointed in food and service, do not recommend. read more

Curbside to go at the Monroe Applebees has become a joke. Do not ever order a burger and expect anything but the patty some cheese and a bun!! Three times this has happened when we ordered burgers for curbside pick up. And three times we got home to open the burger box to find a sad excuse for a patty with cheese and a bun. Not a stitch of what was suppose to be on these specialty burgers! First time it happened we thought oh well someone made a mistake, we just excepted it, 2nd time my husband called to complain, they did send us via email a gift card for the price of the burger, and today I ordered my son the American Standard Burger, and he got a hockey puck, with some cheese on a bun, literally that was exactly the burger he got . If he wanted a plain burger I would of went to McDonald's and spent a buck .. $10 bucks for a burger that btw I just feed to my DOG, is crap when you don't ever get the right burger. Once again had to make a call to the manager and once again they will send an email gift card for the price of the burger..and of coarse "they don't want to lose our business" well you lost it, how about replacing my time? And the fact I had to go back out and get my son another burger?! And oh how about my meal was ruined bc I had to go back out for my son ! Ordered a Bourbon Street Steak and it came out with 1 mushroom on it... I asked the waitress where the mushrooms and onions were and she actually asked me to lift up the steak as if they were hiding under it... I did it just to prove there was nothing there but I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE... Food and service was awful! read more

A truly terrible experience. After stopping at this particular location more then once my wife and I have made the observation that this restaurant (if you want to call it that) has possibly the worst wait staff in the monroe area. My wife and I had walked in to a mostly empty restaurant and after ordering our drinks, which took about ten min. alone we waited possibly another 15 min. to have a chance to order our food. During the wait for our food I had finished my beverage and had the empty glass on the edge of the table representing that i had finished and would like another. Our food was dropped off by another waitress who had not taken any time to ask us how our meals looked or asked us if we might need anything else. (my empty glass still on the edge of the table). After about a half hour our original waiter came back with the check and just set it down also not acknowledging the empty glass. Needless so say i had nothing to drink the entire meal. My wife and i left extremely disappointed and vowed that we wont ever be visiting that location ever again. read more

Came here not too enthused since I never particularly liked this restaurant, but a friend wanted to go here and nothing else was open at the time of night we were dining. The first thing we noticed was our mozzarella sticks came out practically frozen, and had to send them back. Thankfully they had no issue getting us new ones, but every time I've been dragged here with a friend or group, this has happened to someone every time. I Ordered pasta and asked for parmesan on the side. Of course I assumed this would not cost extra, for one, the waitress didn't mention it'd be an extra charge, and two, parmesan should never cost extra to go on pasta! So i was a little surprised when I seen I was up charged for the cheese on my bill. I really thought spending nearly 15 dollars on a plate of bland, mediocre pasta was bad enough. All in all, I would suggest buying your own frozen food and heat it up yourself at home rather than going to Applebee's and spend a fortune for them to do it for you. read more
