This place reminds me of Hooter's from back in the day. Same kinda look with a hunting lodge twist. Lots of stuffed animals adorn the walls. Lots of women wearing very little to bring your food and beverages. Food was a mixed bag. My wings were good (boneless) but my friends wings (traditional) were lukewarm. Service was ok, but our waitress tended to disappear and the place wasn't busy at all. They were out of the two beers I wanted most. We got the appetizer sampler to start and were very pleased. Buffalo tenders, fried pickles and mozzarella bites are included, all had great flavor. That Peaks in Fort Worth overlooking the water with all the pretty servers with awesome personalities. Or that Houston location that's an awesome sports location and more club like. Anyhow, this one is a sports bar without any kind of identity or fun. I'm an avid sports fan. Had to ask for football to be put on. Their beers always have some local beers on. Great. Here they only have 29 degrees frozen mugs. If you drink craft beer, you know IPAs shouldn't be served this cold. Couldn't even taste the hops thru the frozen ice chips. Food was below average here. Sooo....I didn't realize before I walked in that I was entering a "Hooters" type establishment. The marketing to get you to drop in worked. I literally was looking for a place for my friend and I that neither of us had been to. Low and behold twin peaks. The sign said, food, drinks and a scenic view. I turned my vehicle around and walked in. The seating was social distanced which I appreciated. The server was nice. She was overwhelmed due to them being short staffed. It took a while for the order and when it finally arrived, My order was wrong and the impossible burger was burned. I ordered shots and received full drinks. I probably won't be going back. The girls here are nice, but the management treats them horribly. I came in with a group of people and the entire time our server was getting berated by a large male manager. He couldn't even take her to the back to say rude side comments to her, and it broke my heart to see. These young women work so hard and deserve the utmost respect from all staff. We didn't actually plan our day out, just sort of went wherever. But we always have fun no matter what we do. For us, it's the company, not the location. I got a very tall Amber Ale and he got a jalapeno mule. We split some nachos and the rest is history. We came to Ohio to buy some yuengling chocolate beer and forgot to buy the beer! Went here for the first time with my buddy and I didn't know what to expect as I've never heard of the place and didn't know what type of restaurant it was. The service was alright. Waited a little too long for waters that we asked for twice and for our bills. Food wasn't too expensive but was very delicious. I had the Hangover burger and it was amazing and we split some Korean volcano wings and they were so hot my friend couldn't even finish them. I enjoyed the wings though. On to the beer: I had tried one of their house beers and it was pretty good after the stupid ice melted off the glass and the 3 inches of fizz shrunk down. Not a fan of the 29 degree beer concept. I never had a burger this good. The cheese is so melty on the burger and, when you take that first bite the yolk from the egg just pours out. I feel like when you take the bite you can taste every layer from the lettuce to the tomato. I only had about half the bun because it all fell out! We ordered the sausage cheese plate and wings. Nothing out of the ordinary, salty and spicy. I ordered beer battered fish. It was salty, and that was the best part of the meal, the salt. The thing that really bothered me was a server accross from our table kept touching her butt, after she served food. I am sure this is a food safety issue also, if she touches their hot sauce and does this, that could burn. Where do I begin?? I clearly learned that Twin Peaks was in reference to boobs, upon walking into the restaurant. We were seated promptly about 6pm on a Friday night. Waitress took our drink order, asked me if I wanted a man sized beer or a woman sized beer. I found that to be very insulting and she giggled and said that's how their beers are marketed. She then went and stood at a table talking with a customer for way too long. It wasn't to get her anything, just to chat. So we waited for our drinks, which oddly enough came out one at a time. Apparently the bartender had not been trained on how to properly fill a glass with ice before adding the liquor and mixer, because the vodka soda came to the table with little ice, and a super lame pour I must add. So my date and I sat and people watched while waiting to place our food orders. Felt like I was back at a Frat house party with the waitresses walking around with a ski carrying shots, chanting "Ski shot.Ski shot." Interesting. The mothers of small children looked mortified that they had come to this place. Our food arrived and my salad appeared to be missing things. I asked my waitress if it was supposed to have cheese, she found a menu, said yes it is, do you want it? Um yeah. That would be nice. My date's chicken dish was ok but skimpy on the protein. I continued to eat my steak salad and then decided to pull up the menu on my phone only to find out it was actually missing half of the ingredients that were listed. We brought this to the waitresses attention, who then sent over the manager. His name is Brent by the way and he appears to be well versed in apologies but lacks eye contact unfortunately. He comped my meal and my beers, because the last one that I watched him pour had a 3 inch head on it.. um... no thanks. The salad had a decent taste, only wish I could have experienced the dish with all of it's ingredients. It is great that the land is no longer an eye sore, but if this restaurant doesn't have it together after two months of being open?? There are bigger problems going on behind the scenes. My boyfriend and I are frequent bar hoppers and our go to is usually a different bar closer to our place in the Point. However, we have been choosing to go to Twin Peaks a lot more often lately. First, they serve Ace Ciders, both the Perry Pear Cider and the Pineapple Cider. This is one of the only places I have found that serve this hard cider and it's amazing! Second, the food is pretty standard bar food but with a twist and pretty good. They have venison chili, great mozzarella balls breaded in panko, and nachos that are so incredibly huge that you won't be able to finish them. The last perk of this place is they have the UFC fights so, another reason to frequently visit! I'm not sure of all of the complaints about the attire- they still have great service and an atmosphere. read more
