We paid $16.00 for the Ultimate Trio Appetizer. We chose a chicken quesadilla, boneless chicken wings, and the shrimp. Sadly none of them were worth eating at all absolutely not recommended and not worth the price. There was really no flavor involved with any of it other than the sauce that the wings were covered with the quesadilla really needed to be cooked longer to get some browning on the tortilla and the shrimps were pretty darn small and stuck together. This was not a great experience. It took 10 minutes for them to seat me (it took almost that long for anyone to notice me standing there). Most employees seemed very apathetic. My waitress (Jamie) seemed kind and responsive though. Food was ok. First impressions are a big deal. I would suggest the host pays more attention to people as they come in. I love the double crunch bone in wings. However, the service and wait time are something left to be desired. I understand that it is hard to find good help these days, and at Applebee's that is no exception. The servers are friendly but seem to be more pre-occupied with whatever was going on in the kitchen or must take lunch at the same time because they all seem to disappear once they take your order. On my visit, after ordering our meal and receiving our drinks, we waited for more than 30 minutes for someone to come out and check on us. When we asked for our drinks to be refilled, they disappeared again for at least 5 more minutes. There were dirty tables needing to be bussed with no one in sight to tend to them. Think they missed the tossed in Buffalo for Drenched in Buffalo. Honestly was like they said aww who cares throw them on the plate pour a bottle of Buffalo over them and call it good. Because they were definitely not coated throughout but no shortage of sauce was to be had haha. I'm not usually a super big fan of Applebee's but tonight it was one of those nights where I was in town visiting my friend's relatives and this is where the brother picked. I'm not one to disagree on someone else's choice......ok I lie, but I'm changing my ways for the better! Lol Any who, the visit tonight was great. I got the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp skillet which was super tasty and water bc I'm trying to change my soda drinking habits as well :'( The one thing that made me cringe, was how dirty the women's restroom was. If you want Applebee's you should go to Visalia it's worth the drive at least you'll get good food and good service unlike at this location. Horrible! 2 for $22! Appetizer Chips with artichoke dip were soggy as hell. I just started eating! They brought another batch after complaining, it was equivalent to chopping on cardboard. Eating with a spoon is your best bet here with the artichoke dip. The kids loved the first round of drinks! The second round of drinks never came. Very disappointed! So giving this place one star because of our waitress, she was awesome. However the food was not so good. Well, I didn't even order anything but the spinach and artichoke dip and a "pink & prickly lemon drop" but they did not have any "prickly" so they gave me strawberry. I wanted the sampler appetizer but "they did not have it" I also overheard them say they didn't have lemonade. My drink tasted like water down kool aid and I like kool aid lol. Never again will I step foot in this disgusting establishment. Our server screwed up and brought 2 extra drinks to our table. Since we didn't want to pay for her mistake (which she asked us to) and drink warm beer by the time we got to it, she - and the bartender were pissed. Not our fault. Not our problem. You would think the beers would have been poured out, instead she set them on the bar and waited for someone to order one...No one did. That is until I ordered a beer and the server asked if I wouldn't mind taking the beer she brought by mistake 20-30 minutes earlier! The beer sitting there getting warm and flat, collecting dust from being reached over by the bartender and a handful of servers. I very politely declined and requested a fresh one. This did not set well with the bartender, so she proceeded to fill every drink order possible before attempting to pour mine. It was taking forever but I looked up just in time to see the server pick up that warm/flat beer and make eye contact with me. I told the others at my table and we read her lips as she told the bartender "they're looking at it". They knew that was not going to fly and felt they better pour a fresh beer to bring over. At this point I was already finished with my meal which I only ate ¼ of because it was disgustingly salty. I was upset with the attitude and treatment we received and they knew it was all bad, because they had the manager deliver my beer to which I said no thanks. Let's begin with walking in and nobody acknowledged us for 5min then we were told to wait for the hostess and after another 8min wait then we were seated and given 2 menus for a group of 5, the waitress came to take our order before we got our other 3 menus. They took too long to take our order and our drinks sat at the bar for about 10 min before we got them. They kept bringing us food we didn't order and they couldn't find who ordered the food. The host sat a table before our table and lied saying the couple "asked" for a table after not wanting the bar but I heard the couple ask for a table not the bar. First off, the room was very cold (which I liked since it's hot outside all the time) Me and my family went there last night, and we got sat by a very nice and caring employee. Then Mitchell took our orders. He was very nice with the people around him!! But our menus took a little while to get to us cause of how busy it was. But after ordering, we didn't get our food till 30 minutes later. Maybe it was worth the wait and there was a reason that we had to wait. When our food got there, we really liked the way it looked!! My guy and I stopped here for a bite on a Friday evening and there was quite a crowd! We were seated quickly and our server, Mike, was funny and personable. He was quick to get us anything we needed and checked on us regularly. All this WHILE keeping a very rowdy birthday party nearby happy and well-looked after. I had very high expectations for Applebees as the interior looks great, but I ended up being disappointed. When I walked in, it took a while for me and my friends to get seated. The hostess was very friendly so we thought it was going to be a great experience. However after ordering and waiting about half an hour, the waitress advised my friend that there was no shrimp so she had to order something else. This meant that we had to wait for ANOTHER half hour to get our food. After getting my burger, I was pretty dissapointed. It was a little dry and my hunger couldn't even change the taste. Haven't been back since my "not so good experience". I am glad that I came in today, sat at the bar (this is totally key to do when you come in), our experience was GREAT!!! All of our food was good, service was fast, and the beer were really a super improvement from my last visit. Our service was done by the bartender, Mason - great service! I will be back, sooner rather than later now. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was the appetizer of the Pretzels and Beer cheese, was delicious - however the ratio of Cheese to Pretzels, is not at all enough. Had to request more cheese.
