If you ask "is it a summer special, or seasonal" They have no clue. Just seems that if you serve a product you should know what you are offering the customer. Ordered the Fiesta lime chicken. The flavors were uneventful and okay, not great. The rice was borderline dry. I saw him try to pour a beer as well and he's even worse at that. I don't know why he's even working here. He always has a prissy attitude and I've seen him serve to obvious minors. He should be fired DUE to the fact that he brings that place down. I also read on his Facebook he bashed a customer going as far as to say he and his friend would "roll up" on this 19 year old. I went to Apple Bees for the first time with one of my close friends. The wait time to get our food brought to us was so long. By the time it arrived, my friend's food and my food were already cold. Recentely each time someone else is getting helped out before me and my family or getting their drinks and food. I waited a whole 45 minutes before we got our drinks and the another 30 minutes for our food. when people who got the their 30 minutes after us got their drinks within 5 minutes and got their food before we even got our drinks. Applebees first timer.... The food was as expected for a chain of that sort but the service was really subparr/ almost alarming. There were only four of us in the party and the restaurant was not busy. She brought our drinks out kinda late and only two at a time. We ordered 2 orders that were the same for our appetizer with our meal (wonton tacos). So again we all sat patiently waiting... and waiting..... I alerted the server and she said it would be right up She went over and started taking someone elses order.... waiting and waiting.... eventually my girlfriend got her food but my food was cold.... i hate cold food that is intended to be hot. I ordered the Bourbon burger and mac and cheese. The burger was ok but it was cold and was well done when I asked for medium rare. The mac and cheese had bacon on it. I think this is a bad choice. Mac and cheese is rich and soft, bacon that was served on top was hard. It sounds like it would be good but it didnt really fly with this meal because the textures were too different. Last but not least was the most alarming part. You see, the service thus far had been careless but what happened next was carelessness to the extreme. The server refilled my drink. I could tell that she probably scooped the ice with the glas as it was chipped on the inside. I worked in a restaurant all through college and what that means is that either I had glass in my drink or someone down the road would have GLASS IN THEIR BEVERAGE.... My sister decided to go out to dinner tonight for outdoor dinning we understand that with covid some restaurants are short staffed and there is not much space to sit people down but we literally stood next to the sign that read "please wait to be seated by a host" there was no acknowledgment that we were there waiters passed by us multiple times and none waited to us or even acknowledge that we were standing there no hello we will be right with or the wait will be 30 min or so. My best friend and I went to go try out Applebee's for the first time. When we looked at the menu, it felt a bit limited and the menu did not seem to be appetizing. I ordered the onion rings and chicken salad and my friend ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The food tasted extremely bland, especially the burger. The meat seemed unseasoned and the fries were super dry. My salad tasted okay but not the best. I could say I've tasted better salads. The onion rings were the only thing I actually enjoyed. Applebee's serves public school lunch food at a restaurant price. I hadn't been to Applebee's in a long time and decided to eat dinner there, I wish I didn't. I ordered pasta and waited for a long time, which I know is typical for Applebee's. When my food arrived it was barely warm, the noodles were undercooked, and the breadstick was just sad. It reminded me of public school lunch food, no flavor, seasoning, or quality. I still tried to eat it because I had to pay for it and I couldn't let it go to waste. Had us wait +20 ?minutes until we called for the manager Josh who confirm they focus on small tables to keep the kitchen going. Once we sit the place was freezing, I never been to a place colder than this, we asked the manager to turn off the AC yet it felt like it got even colder. Poor called from manager and host. The server did her part fine, no issues with her. The food got cold from the blasting cold air coming from the vents. So sad to post this review specially since I worked in the food industry. If you come here for just drinks you'll be fine, just don't order any food. The happy hour/special drinks are a great deal and service is pretty good. The food, well it's just nasty. Thought I would play it safe last time and order an app, the pretzels with cheese sauce. The sauce was super runny and basically orangey water. I came to this Apple Bee's yesterday and they had horrible service. There was a hair in the onion rings. On top of that there was a bug on my fork. They are not sanitary at all! I asked 3 different employees to put the Laker game on but they still did not. Their wings were literally chicken nuggets drenched in expired bbq sauce. we went for lunch midweek, the place seemed about half full (half empty?) I had the brewpub philly and partner had a lunch combo we also a "fresh fruit citronade" and margarita it was a horrible experience first off when partner ordered a margarita the server suggested upgrading to the "ultimate margarita" didn't mention it was $10. it tasted horrible - like it was made with one of those bottled mixers - you would think it would have been made with fresh ingredients my "fresh fruit citronade" was made with obviously frozen strawberries and was served warm the brewpub philly was a greasy mess - there was a slim flat puck of meat on the bottom of the sandwich (or to use their vernacular - "handheld") with at least two inches of fried stuff on top of that with some melted cheesestuff on a "ciabata" bun. When it came to the table the grease had sunk through the bread making it almost impossible to pick up to eat. This was suppose to come with a choice of regular or bbq fries or house chips with refills - was never offered a choice (they just put regular fries) and waitress never offered a refill. My partner had a lunch combo of thai shrimp salad and some sort of sort of shrimp pasta dish both were mediocre at best - the greens/veggis in the salad were limp the dressing was overly cloyingly sweet. The pasta dish had overcooked pasta and the shrimp on both were way way overcooked There are some of those table top tablet things on the table it would scroll through a variety of screens. While we were waiting for our food, a trivia question popped up on it and we answered it. Didn't know there was a charge for this as there wasn't a pricing page that would have warned us about the charge, When the check came we told them about it and didn't offer to remove the charge. We paid with a combo of a gift card and cash - the bill was 41 dollars and change. (way over priced for what we were served) After paying we were given our change - which should have been 3.26. the waitress gave us 3.00 (shorting us .26) so yeah it was a horrible experience and I wont go back read more
