Just left this location - Monday afternoon at 5:44. Showed up with 3 adults and 2 children. Sat us immediately and given menus, as the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Staff walking past and looking at us constantly. We walked out at 6:10 because no one ever came to even ask for our drink orders. Mentioned that the table should be marked open to the hostess on our way out because no one ever came to ask us for our drinks - her response was "oh ok!" Seriously? I would appreciate a call from Ed Goebig regarding his Pottstown PA location. The manager on staff tonight was extremely nasty to his staff not to mention us patrons. Instead of giving me his card, he gave me the GM's card. My husband and I took an Uber to your location to eat and watch the Steelers game. We arrived around 7:30pm 9/30/2018 and it wasn't until around 11pm that I mentioned to "Mahmoud - ???? Spelling???" (the "manager".... using the term very loosely) or whatever his name was.... that the glasses hanging from the display were dirty and even had lipstick print marks on them. It was a only then that he told our waitress "Megan" (who was AMAZING all night) that we had exceeded our 3 drink limit (which was NEVER DISCUSSED OR MENTIONED IN THE FOUR HOURS WE SPENT AT THE BAR). We were not causing a scene or being obnoxious. We were enjoying the game and our waitress was SO great! We ordered 3 different food items during our visit. He was such an ass that even two older ladies we did not know and were sitting at the opposite end of the bar (probably in their 60-70's) were saying how much of an asshole he was... NO lie! I will GLADLY send pictures of the filthy cups hanging from the rack upon request. It was VERY obvious how scared ALL of the waitstaff was of him. Scared, NOT respectful... the opposite of scared. This is unacceptable. I worked the last 6 days straight.... Uber'd to a place to eat and watch the football game to be treated like some piece of trash by this loser. Yes, loser. Idk what type of people this Apple bees is hiring but they gotta do better , ordered to go and asked for blackened shrimp & broccoli pasta , and some apps. The guy repeats the order back and says classic chicken pasta i said no blacked shrimp Alfredo he said okay & puts me on hold for 7 min. I get my food come home & had chicken broccoli pasta ??? Now their closed so i can't go back and get food instead sending a refund coupon in the mail. I never even want to eat here again why would i want a coupon? read more

We were seated next to the take out door. Our own fault we didn't ask to be moved on this cold and rainy night. Didn't realize they do some good business out that side door. The steak quesadilla was good. My wife's steak was grisly but edible. My chicken and pasta was child size. This Applebees is awesome, the servers are the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Karaoke nights are the most sober fun I've had on a Thursday night. It's a great place to meet people, when you walk in there it seems like everyone is having dinner together. Great place to hang out and spend time. Tuesday nights they have dinners for family with specials for the kids, they also bring a clown to entertain the kids. Wednesdays is dine to donate were they donate to a organization based on how much people come into eat. It's a great neighborhood bar & grill. Two thumbs up for Applebees! read more

This place is getting worse. When it first opened it was good, but the service has declined, the food is less than eatable, and overall just not worth the money. This is after many attempts. It is corporate so I guess it would take a change from the higher ups. Maybe more training, maybe a little more caring, I don't know what to suggest. I go to the bar here often, and Greg is wonderful! Friday night's its usually pretty full but waite around its worth it. Greg makes amazing drinks he can usually make whatever you ask for even if its not on the menu nice and strong. The food well its Applebees get the boneless wings and onion rings and you'll be happy. And amazing desert shooters. read more

First of all, we found a hair in 2 separate orders of the mac and cheese. Second, the triple hog dare (pulled pork, bacon, ham) did not come with any pulled pork. Lastly, a Caesar salad came with a large piece of the core from the head of lettuce. I absolutely love Applebee's but tonight was my final straw. After being seated it took our waiter 15 minutes to even come over to take our order (mind you, it wasn't that busy). We order drinks and our entree's at once. I got the sirloin and he never bothered asking me how I wanted it done before he took off. 40 minutes later he final came back with our drinks, spilling mine as he walked over. An $8.00 drink half on the floor. A few minutes later a different waitress brought our food and asked me to cut into my steak to make sure it was cooked to my liking while she got steak sauce for me. As soon as I put my knife to the steak it was like a water ballon. It was completely raw! My date ordered some kind of chicken which was also completely raw. This was the absolute worst dining experience I have had in years. Went during a non busy time. Server had only two filled tables. Food was burnt, cups were left empty all meal. We even stacked our own plates and placed them at the end of the table, where they stayed for 20 minutes before our server removed them. Do NOT come here. My two friends and I decided to go to Applebees for dinner. My one friend was going to be a little late so she told us to just get a table awhile. When my other friend and I said that there will be another person joining us later the hostess said that they can't sit us until our entire party is here. My friend said she'll be at least another 30 minutes. So I asked the hostess so even if my friend comes later she won't be able to sit with us? and the hostess told me no because they were short staffed. So I told my friend that and she decided to not come; so they lost business because they wouldn't allow my friend to sit with us when she came in a little late....RIDICULOUS! Every time I visit Applebee's the wait staff or greeters look unenthused. Most waitresses have been pleasant though. Food is average and sometimes overpriced. The plates and utensils could be cleaned more throughly. My husband ordered a beer and had it brought to him in a glass with lipstick on it!!! Yuck!!! read more

Honestly I don't think it even deserves the one star. This was the worst restaurant experience I believe I've ever had. We sat down(3 of us, mom me and sister) ordered drinks and my tea comes out with something floating in it. She brought me back another. Then we order and I specifically said two times I did not want onions on my salad. Salad comes out with onions all through it, and then I have to hunt down my waitress. She finally comes back and I show her so she says she will bring another. 25 mins later I'm still sitting there with no salad and the other two have finished eating. I finally get another salad and the chicken wasn't cooked fully so I picked around it and ate some. She brings us our check and my salad is still on it. I said why was this comped and then put back on she says for our records. Very rude and gave me attitude. So I said you know what okay thank you. And I paid the exact amount, I am a waitress so it's very hard for me to not tip at least 20% but this was the worst experience I've ever had! Will not be returning. read more

Horrible experience, I got home late from work so we decided to go out to eat. Seated right away, sat about 10 or 15 minutes, a 3 top was seated after we have been waiting and server had gotten them drinks, yet no sign of our server..... finally someone took us not sure if it was their section or not, ordered our kids meals and app to come out before our meals (like normal)... so our main meals came out first then they were followed by our kids meal and app. So the manager came out offered to re cook our meals, you know the normal song and dance, but at this point I'm not starting all over again. The comment from the manager really bothered me, is there anything else I can do to help besides the bill, not sure what she meant by that, but the way I took it was can I do anything for you besides adjust the bill, like I was looking to get something for free , I have no problem with paying for everything, just make sure my order comes out right, apps before the meal etc.. in the end the whole meal was comped which is not what I was looking for but at this point there is nothing they could have really done except start all over again, probably won't be back there for a while, so after the meal being comped and my little rant we still left the server more then the normal 20% tip... because in the restaurant industry not everything is the servers fault.... very disappointed after a long hard day at work I just wanted to sit down with my family and have a decent meal we didn't have to cook and it was nothing but frustration added to my day.... read more

stopped in with the wife and kids for a late dinner and overall we were very pleased. ribs were very good...our one son had the macaroni and cheese with chicken qnd our older son had pizza they bo5h enjoyed there meals very much. my wife had the shrimp scampi that she enjoyekd but came with a tomato sauce on it (on scampi?!?!) but enjoyed it non the less. our server samantha was exellent..personable and genuine. we noticed a table next to us had a issue with their entree and she made sure it was quickily taken care of. overall we were very pleased with our experience read more
