Love this place, actually worked here when it first opened its doors and continue to go there when in town visiting family and friends. Good food, great beer and happy hour menu and wonderful service. Robin rocks!!! If your ever in jacksonville nc, do not, I repeat do not go to the one over there,I moved there and unfortunately will never go due to rude service and then being called a liar and being harassed by teir employee. Well it was not to busy and the waiter was great. The food comes and I get half the portion of what my husband gets. Half a rack of ribs should be half a rack of ribs since I have to pay the same amount. So the waiter takes my plate back and my husband waits for my food to come. His is cold and the ribs were not good at all. I'm not sure why they think women should get smaller portions than a man. We pay for a full portion and can always take leftovers home for later. I hesitantly agreed to meet family here for lunch. (I had a horrible experience at the northside restaraunt) the food was, let's say, mediocre. But I have to admit, the waitstaff was wonderful!!! They were pleasant, they openly gave suggestions to my mother (who really had no idea what she wanted, but they pleasantly gave her many MANY suggestions...then she ended up copying me. Hahaha) The food was out to us in a timely manner & the restaraunt was very clean. I would give this one a try again based on the service alone. read more

We come about once a month. Applebee's is Applebee's. The food is the same. However the service at this Applebee's sucks. It has for a while now. It is bad more than it is good. I would go to the North side. You can drive there and back before you get your food here. read more

The "perfect margarita" was the worst margarita I've ever had. Being from Texas, we know how a margarita is supposed to be made. Instead of tart, this was sweet, very weak, and served with sugar (not salt) around the rim. Absolutely disgusting! The appetizers were ok but my entree was terrible. I ordered the shrimp wonton stir fry. The shrimp was overlooked and some pieces were even burnt. The sauce was sickly sweet. Couldn't finish it. read more

I brought my 92-yr-old father here, thinking that we could both find something for lunch. I don't eat meat or dairy. It was 2 pm on a Tuesday, and there were only 2 or 3 other tables with customers. We were seated right away, and the waitress was very fast at asking for our drink order and delivering them. The music was too loud for the number of people who were eating at that time, and the temperature of the room was too cold. I had a sweater, but my skinny dad did not. He told me that he was hungry, so he would put up with the cold temps. I explained to him that restaurants do this because people order more food when they are cold. We searched the menu for something to eat. I thought I'd get a veggie burger, just to avoid eating seafood in a land-locked state. Well, no such thing on the menu. What restaurant doesn't offer a veggie burger on their burger menu? Not even a portabella burger? My dad said that everything was fried or smothered in cheese unless he wanted a salad. I told him to just order a soup and salad, and I'd find something elsewhere. We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to return, but she never did. I threw $3 on the table for 2 sodas. The hostess thanked us for coming in. I told her that we left because no one was waiting on us. She just said, "ok". I said, "no, it's really not ok, but we're leaving". I realize that good help is hard to find, and it's even harder to find in Pueblo, but there are better restaurants in town. read more

Stopped in because we were in from Salida for the day, our 1st impression was HORRIBLE!!! The hostess was monotone, almost to the point of aggressive, we were treated like an inconvenience. This is a great Applebee's! I'm in town visiting family and it seems like everywhere we've gone in Pueblo, the service has been terrible. It was so refreshing to have an amazing waitress. Precelia was so great, attentive, and sweet to my family after we've had a long day exploring. She went above and beyond to give us a great experience and it worked. I get the car side service here pretty often, though we don't go in much. Everything is generally really well made... but occasionally it's on its way to cold, hence the 4 stars. I think that's based on telling people the wrong time to show up. Aside of that it's awesome and a great way to get away from fast food or other pick up and delivery options. read more

Was very disappointed with our trip to Applebee's. We placed an order for "Carside to Go" and it was not good. Of course, didn't know they messed up our order until we were home and who wants to go back in the snow so they can fix your order. I would NOT recommend coming here if you have food allergies. I made it very clear what I needed when I ordered but it was not followed. Not to mention I ordered my cheeseburger with "no pink" and received a raw cheeseburger. Called and the manager did try to right what was wrong but when it comes to food allergies you can't really "right" it. And this is the second time they have made the error for the food allergies. read more

Horrible experience! My son's food was cold, it took 20 minutes for him to get his food, after we were already done eating. The drinks were never refilled. So it was fun eating average food with nothing to drink. Talked to Mike "the manager", that was a waste of breath. Oh and did I mention we were the only ones here for the first 15 minutes of it opening. But it's my fault for coming back...never again. read more

Today my husband and I ordered food from Applebees to go, on the south side of pueblo. Our food was suppose to be ready at 12:20 but was not done till 12:50. When he got home we started to eat the food it was all completely cold. Which I dont understand since my husband waited an extra 30 minutes for it to be done. My steak that I ordered medium well was medium rare. So on top of all the time and money spent my husband is now in the kitchen heating up food and trying to salvage my steak. I called the manager who did make this right but it doesn't make this any less frustrating. read more

Decided to try Applebee's because of the almost non-stop advertising of their $1 margaritas but when we sat down, our waiter pushed the Perfect Margarita ($9.00) and NEVER mentioned the $1 margarita (which now I'm learning may have been a blessing!). We ordered chips and salsa and must have gotten the bottom of the bag... most chips were not even big enough to dip. I ordered the french onion soup. The cheese was just barely melted and certainly not bubbly or brown on the edges and the bread underneath must have come from a loaf of sandwich bread from the grocery store. It was soggy, disgusting and not the least bit toasted. My husband did like his salad and liked the way his steak was cooked (the only reason for the two stars). At the end of the meal when we went to pay (they have those little tablets on each table) the waiter was working the tablet and asked if a 20% tip was okay. I mean, what are you going to say at that point? We felt like we were kind of pushed into the 20% tip. Then he asked if we'd like to complete their survey so he could get a fee meal... I politely declined and was thinking his 20% tip should take care of his dinner that night. So basically, we spent like $85 for a pretty crappy meal and experience. Won't be visiting Applebee's again any time soon! read more
