You already know what to expect. The Applebee's in Richland was THE BEST service. Great bar staff!

Casual dining means a lot of the food appears to be pre-packaged and prepared; I imagine the kitchen is more like an assembly line than a chef's workstation. I like they are open late since there are not many options for late night dining in Richland. I've never had a bad experience at this location, other than my wife and I having our drinks switched when they arrived at the table. If that's the worst they got, I'm ok with that. When I visit a restaurant like this that has my favorite sandwich on the menu, I have to at least try it once - a Reuben, and they do a decent job with theirs because it's usually what I get every time we eat here. I also can't do a visit without the chicken wonton tacos, especially when they are prepared properly. This location has far better service and food quality than the Pasco Road 68 restaurant. read more

We were going to go to Applebee's for Veterans Day as both my husband and I are veterans. When we got there there were a lot of people waiting including a teenage girl in a blue sweatshirt texting on her phone without a mask. Why was she allowed in the restaurant without a mask? read more

I stopped here for dinner while travelling for work as there weren't many options. I sat at the bar as it was pretty packed for a table in the restaurant. The bartender was great. She had a great personality and was totally on top of things. She checked up on me so regularly that I never needed to ask for anything. All the while preparing drinks for so many. I tried ordering online the next night but there system will let you order everything, but won't allow you to put in a phone number, which is a required item. Needless to say, I decided to get takeout from somewhere else. read more

I had the best spicy Asian baby back ribs in my life, our server was very kind very personable it was a great way to spend the opening night of my wife's birthday, very kind staff my compliments to the chef good food friendly staff 10/10 Our server also told us about the promotion about meeting Dwayne the rock Johnson, I am very appreciative of this because I've always wanted to be Dwayne Johnson and if I get the chance to eat at my local Applebee's I would be the happiest man in the world if I got to meet Dwayne Johnson and eat Applebee's my local Applebee's is down the street from my temporary living space and like I said I would be amazed with the Chance eternally grateful for Applebee's for giving me the chance to meet at Dwayne Johnson. Great happy hour! Friendly staff. Quick service. The wonton chicken tacos were delicious and only 500 calories! I had the house Cabernet which was good, but they had a yummy selection of sangria. I will be sure to come back to this location. read more

With much anticipation I went last night to try the new Hand Cut Wood Fired "Steaks". Much to my disappointment Applebee's only has one steak, Sirloin. Don't get me wrong Sirloin is a fine steak, I often do an Asian marinade and grill it. But if I'm going out for a 'Steak" I want a Ribeye or Filet or T-Bone. This was probably the worst meal and service I have ever had at an Applebee's. Our food was bland, the service was poor and the Manager was rude. There were seven in our group and we unanimously decided to never return to this Applebee's. We will return to the Kennewick store as the food is always good, and the service impeccable. read more

I am pregnant and NEEEEDED a certain food and wasn't sure if they'd make it. I called ahead and the manager spoke with me and assured me that she could make it work. When I got there she made a point to come check on me and make sure it was perfect. Great experience. Such sweethearts. read more

Terrible, not worth the money. I ordered the chicken and shrimp dinner on the 2 for $26 menu. It was dry. The appetizer of onion rings not cooked thoroughly. The waiter brought me some teriaki sauce to help the dryness. No way to fix it. I found out everything is prepackaged and microwaved. No wonder! They have gone straight downhill! I was in town on business. I'd never been to an Applebee's before and a co-worker wanted to go there. I was not impressed. The menu was meh. There was nothing on it that stood out to me. I have a robust appetite and ended up ordering a steak because there just wasn't anything that shouted "this is gonna fill you up!" Add to that all the items listed with the little Weight Watchers logo and I was tempted to order two entrees. The service was below par as well. Our waiter only stopped by our table to take our order, bring us our food, and give us the check. I ended up stopping at Jack in the Box on the way back to the hotel for a cheeseburger and fries. read more

This place is pretty nice. The servers are super sweet. Most of the negative reviews are people trying to scam free food from restaurants. These people do it all the time, read their reviews. It's their hobby. Your meal was NOT cooked wrong, you are lying! It was cooked 300 miles away, the same as every other meal there. All they do is heat it up you clown! IT'S APPLEBEE'S! you DON'T deserve to be babysat and waited on hand and foot. Your asinine requests for free extras or bizarre accommodations aren't worth the miniscule price you are paying for food here, which is only slightly above McDonalds prices! Besides, you probably don't tip anyway. It's a big problem, these people eat the entire meal then complain, refuse to pay or write a negative review hoping the manager will invite them back to "make it right." Managers, don't feed the beast! If someone doesn't like your food, giving it for free won't make them like it more. read more

Service was good, food was OK. A "loaded" potato costs an extra $2 which the server doesn't tell you when they ask. Shows up when you get the bill. Applebees is taking a lead from the airlines. Next thing you know salt & pepper and ice will be extra! read more

I went out to Applebee's for Valentine's Day Lunch with my wife and we were very happy with our visit. The host and wait staff were very friendly, very attentive, and overall did a good job. We also got a visit from the store manager who was roaming around just to ask if everything was tasting ok, and if there was anything we needed. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars was that my wife asked for her steak medium well, and i asked for mine medium, and they came out looking exactly the same, but I don't mind medium well either so I ate it, and it tasted fine, just not cooked how i asked. Overall Applebee's is great and i love stopping in. read more

Wanted to try their new steaks. Ordered an 8 Oz sirloin, garlicky green beans and cheesy crispy potatoes. Steak was smaller than the palm of my hand. Definitely not 8 oz. Potatoes came out after half the meal was gone. Sad to say, garlicky green beans were the best of the meal and they weren't even fresh. Done with Applebees. read more

The wife and I orderd there 2 meals and 1 app for 20.00 we got the wings for the app they were great the wife got chicken strips they were great i got the cheese burger and it was super rare unedible rare so make shure they cook it good for you i love rare but this was just not cooked!!!!!! read more

Nice building from the outside. We entered and was taken to booth in the bar we weren't asked if that was okay with us. It wasn't, next the menu which seemed fairly priced. We ordered a salad and sandwich for what seemed to be a fair price. Surprise they served us small a very small salad and a 1/2 sandwich each. A 1/2 sandwich the menu said a sandwich not a half of one. I guess they feel that they can away with this type of deception. Sorry but I'm done with this type of business practice. Maybe a mid level cafe should focus on customer satisfaction not pretenance overpriced deception. read more

Very good service & food. Have found that we can count on Applebee's when we're away from home (Yakima).

Applebee's server Rachel went out of her way to make my type 1 diabetic son comfortable with his food choices. She even asked the manager to order a carb food guide for the kids menu, so the next time we come in, the info will be more readily available to us. My son was so happy and felt secure in his lunch choices. We will be back for sure! read more

I minus a star for the poor ish service. The wood was wonderful, loved their ribeye steak with baked potato and steamed veggies. Beware that when you order bake potato, they put a good amount of sour cream and butter right on top. I also had their Ultimate Trio Appetizer and I picked the Steak ...steak something (sorry forgot the other part of the name) the Grilled chicken wontons, and the cheeseburger slider. All 3 was fairly amazing except that my steak wrap thing wasn't a cylinder shape like it showed in the picture but rather a odd triangle. Only had some sort of sauce and tomatoes, the cheeseburger slider only had the burger (which was good) and onions...no cheese despite its name, and the wontons were amazing I loved those. But the service was alright. He gave us good attention but bad attitude or "vibe." We came in around 12:15 (45 mins before they closed) and there was other people there too. Plus we asked if it was alright if we came in to eat and the waiter sound very happy and said yes. But as soon as we sat down, his personality changed. He never smiled, and it felt like he rushed us, even though we left at 12:50 ish. So that wasn't pleasant. But either way, food was very good. read more

This is the ONLY Applebee's in Tricities I will ever go to. Staff does a very good job at remembering and recognizing their regulars and I am always taken care of during each visit. Second time to Applebee's. Had to be on my toes so I don't get charged for the extras they ask about i.e. Would you like a salad? Would you like everything on your potato? and the game device on the table. Husbands steak was small and not done to order. Was charged for everything on my potato but didn't get everything. Great place to go during the hockey season! I like eating dinner and watching sports on all the tv's there. Staff is great there and food is good. Highly recommend going on Monday's as the burgers are on special that day. read more

never again. ive given this place at least 3 chances to to get it right, but every time we have gone in, something goes wrong. the first time i had an issue with my steak. i ordered medium rare and it was still mooing. i had them send it back and the manager brought it back out, and it was by then over done. they had charred the living daylights outta it. i told the manager that it was unacceptable, and he got an attitude! we swore off applebeees for a few months, thinking if he was this rude with us, it wasn't to long before he got the boot. right? wrong. the second time he was still there, and thankfully we didnt have to many problems, just the server was missing in action talking with his friends for most of our meal. he was less of a server, and more of a "sit eat and leave me alone." kinda guy. the last time, last night, was our last chance with this place. we had a great server, K-le i think her name tag said, and she was wonderful at her job. however cranky manager was there, again, sitting in back staring at customers. we ordered chicken, thinking its relatively save. i got the napa chicken my husband got the creamy Parmesan chicken. his was at least not burnt, but it had NO flavor. on mine the onions that are supposed to be sautee were not, at least not all of them were. it looked like they realized there was not enough veggies and added some raw ones in there, along with some mushrooms, to "make it look nice". one mouthful of raw onion later i gave up on the uncooked portions, fishing out the rest of the veggies, and tried the chicken. it was dryer than a bone and the charring on it....ugh. at least mine had flavor, charcoal flavor. i finished it, since our server was missing and i hadnt eaten all day, but it was gross. very gross. this was the last chance. its a bummer since the wait staff is generally really good, but with this manager with a major attitude problem, and the horrid cooking, id rather go eat at denny's. at least the prices there reflect the quality of food. applebees if you see this, you need to drop your prices or get a better kitchen staff. and get rid of that manager! never again will i visit. read more
