Ordered curb side and I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. I ordered meals off the app and scheduled my pick up time. I received my food within 5 min (I was a few minutes early to pick up) and when I got home, everything was packaged nicely and still hot. I ordered the chicken fajita roll up which is my favorite item on the menu, kids corn dog and fries meal, and the pretzels with beer cheese for an app. All was delicious! read more

I've been to a few Applebee's so I'm not expecting a 5-star experience. What I am expecting is silverware to be available to eat our food. This would be one of the many problems that I will try to articulate below. To start our experience we had to step over a full plate of spilled chips to find our booth. Those same chips were thankfully a little easier to navigate on the way out as they had turned into crumbs by that point. After being seated we honestly waited about 10-15 minutes for a waitress to greet us. The wait maybe wouldn't have seemed so long if we were watching any of the big basketball games on TV that night, but instead we had to watch Johnny Unitas and old Yankee reruns. When our waitress finally greeted us she started strong by informing us that there was no silverware available, but she was hoping they'd have some by the time we got our food. We'd hope so too, because after all our particular group was all fairly used to using utensils when we eat. Unfortunately, the hope for silverware would remain just that - a hope. Unless you count steak knives. We did receive those. I will say the staff was extremely friendly though throughout the night. I will also say they could use a little more training. It took 2 waitresses to finally tell us if appetizers were half off, and only one more to tell us which ones were actually included. Upon arriving with our drinks, the waitress spilled a little water on the table. Not a big deal if we had a beach towel, or at the very least some napkins. She thankfully later brought those over with the knives. Unfortunately had I known that our drinks would not be refilled throughout our entire meal, I would have drank the water off the table rather than wiping it up. The food itself was decent. Maybe it could have been a little warmer, but I guess when you're eating with your hands and knives it doesn't really matter. Did I spend too much time writing this post? Yes. I came here tonight around 3:30 ish for dinner with my family and the service was outstanding and highly organized...the staff work together and cover for each other happily when someone is on break..our server (green nailed young lady) was nice, kind and changed our seat so my brother could watch the Bills/jets game comfortably. Our waitress was also attentive to our needs and provided an honest review of the desserts we ordered. I also have to give props to the young waitress who handled a rude customer who got upset because he had to show his ID and wheeled his "precieved" power by complaining to the manager, who was respectful and kept his cool as well. They gave my husband someone else's order, then they gave me a fresh chicken but they watered down the spinach and artichoke dip and dumped a handful of SALT on the chips. Went to Applebee's the other day and wow what a disappointment. After a fun filled day of getting beat at miniature golf, playing arcade games and welll hearing how I got beat at mini golf again and again we decided to go to Applebee's for lunch. Now Applebee's is not great food but it is reliable and good so we went. First off we got out by ourselves in the back corner like we had the Bubonic Plague. Guess that is what we get for wearing masks in the day off COVID-19. Second they gave us a menu that has changed again. Their menus change more than Trump changed his press secretaries. I dont no where to begin... Ill start by flat out saying dont eat here... Long day at the mall didnt really want to eat there so hopped over to Applebee's. Wrong choice. I knew it was going to be a little wait, its saturday night and packed, totally understand. After sitting for less then 5 minutes Me and two others were seated. Drinks immediately came out after ordering. I had a toddler with me and had to ask for a booster seat three separate times before getting one. We ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, 20 minutes later after two separate waitress's said they were checking on our food 10 minutes after that our food showed up. Mind you the party of 3 that got seated 5-7 minutes after us already had drinks and thier apps and thier food right as we got ours. Our mozz sticks still have not arrived at this point. After asking about our mozz sticks i get a few sorrys then our waitress left. After eating half way through our main courses here comes our mozz sticks. We were told to many orders came in and a ton of orders went to the wrong tables. Not to be rude but I was pretty annoyed by that point that i didnt really want to hear excuses. The mozz sticks were the only thing that actually tasted good and was hot and fresh. I ordered the caprese chicken. The chicken itself was good the potatoes that the chicken was sitting on not so much. I clearly got the end of the bucket for mashed potatos, half way eating I kept geting hard crunchy piece's. The one side of my plate just had a hard lump of potato's that clearly were burned to the pan that they scraped out and served to people anyway. The other meal that was ordered was a basket of French frys and bonless wings dipped in hot. Not only were they cold like the rest of our food but there was absolutely no sauce. The very itty bitty sauce that was on them was very light and soaked in to the chicken while sitting in the kitchen for longer than it should have. Again its a busy saturday night so I was expecting some delays and mishaps but what really made the night was seeing how awfully trained the staff was. The hostess was about the only one who was polite and new everything she needed to do. So many people just standing around or running in circles doing nothing. Through out us sitting there multiple plates of food showed up at our table for servers to be completely confused as to why we already had our food. Even one server said I'm assuming this isnt yours she then went to three other tables asked the same thing before finding the rightful owner. It became more aggravating as the night went on. Things have definitely changed and I get that. I spent over 20 yrs in the restaurant shit show... I mean business. Stopped here last night... We waited at the HS station for a few minutes... No biggie she must be busy I completely understand.... And it all went down hill from there... Our waitress was amazing, the bartender,and a good portion of the staff..... Needs a bit of work... 45 min for our drinks.... The bartender stood there as our waitress ran food.... This location isn't my usual spot so whenever I am here it is after a day of shopping and everyone else had the same idea so it is busy. I always have to wait at least twenty minutes. If you like bar food, this is the place to be at. I can stuff myself silly with their appetizers, especially the appetizer combo deal. I am a huge fan of their spinach and artichoke dip. It is probably my favorite restaurant dip of all times. In all honesty, the staff can be slow sometimes but I am never in a rush when I dine in here so it doesn't seem to bother me. It was definitely terrible. Server was absolutely deaf; she didn't bring out extra condiments when asked about 8 times, almost stabbed my mother handing her a knife right side up. My mother's ribs were completely dry and over cooked. Our server was all around the worst server, her name was Amanda. We then asked for the manager several times and after about 20 minutes she appeared from the kitchen. Gave us dirty looks after we told her why we were dissatisfied, she never came back. It took us 30 minutes to actually leave after the server and manager ultimately refused to give us anything else after the complaint. It took them way to long to bring us bags and boxes, the bill was completely messed up. When filling out a survey on the tablet on the table, it conviently glitched and shut down while everyone else's in the restrauant was fine. We sat at the bar because I didn't want to get sat next to some loud mouthed middle aged woman that rambled on about her day like Teresa Caputo on Long Island Medium. The bartender took good care of us. Appetizer came out 2 minutes before the entrées. We rolled with it. The Mac and cheese with chicken tenders wasn't anything special, but that's okay. If you are ordering from the 2 for $20 or 2 for $25 you can mix and match items for $22.50. Happy hour is 3-6 Monday-Friday. Half prized appetizers and select beverages after 9pm in the bar area. If you have a large party, you can call ahead, but they do not take reservations. read more

The only reason I eat at this restaurant is because that's where my friends like to go. Tonight's dinner was abysmal!!! I had the fish fry. I dislike a lot of batter on my fish and spoke to the waitress about it. When I received my meal, which was 10 minutes after the rest of my table was served, the fish looked like a dark chunk of greasy wood. It was all batter with a tiny piece of fish in the middle. Came here with a friend at around 8 on a Tuesday night, it wasn't crowded but there were a few people there. We were seated right away, and our waitress came over rather quickly. They had gotten their new tablet system in that day, which I guess was pretty cool. With it you're able to order appetizers and desserts and also drink refills. Why you can't order an actual meal on it is beyond me. There's also a call button for the waitress, and if you're using a credit card you can pay using the tablet. Oh yeah, there's also the option to play games on it, but it costs 99 cents to unlock them. Our orders were taken pretty quickly, but it seemed to take forever to get our food. The restaurant itself was freezing, to the point where I had to run it to the car to get a hoody. The staff seemed bored, and a lot of them were just hanging around. Our waitress seemed pretty disinterested with the whole thing. I get that it's slow, but at least make the customers you do have think you care. I am giving this place two stars because the service was excellent. But the food was atrocious! I had the provalone-stuffed meatballs and I know they were frozen, which is fine, but they tasted very flat and nasty, like cheap meat and they were spongy and paste-like. My husband had the sirloin steak and it despite the fact it was cooked medium rare, like ordered, was like salty shoe leather. We went home and drank a gallon of water each. A friend and I went in on a Saturday afternoon at about 4:30 for an early dinner. We waited to be seated during which time three employees told us they'd be with us in a minute. One said he'd find a table for us and walked off. When he came back he told a female employee who did seem to be the one in charge of seating people "table 20." She then told a third employee who grabbed a couple of menus to take us to table 20. As it turned out table 20 was right by the rest rooms and the kitchen and, as it turned out, right next to a family with a very cranky and very noisy toddler. We had passed at least 4 empty tables on the way but they tried to seat us in what is probably the most undesirable table in the place. This is not the first time this has happened to me and to many women I know. I objected to the table and the employee put us at one of the tables we had just passed. Next we sat there for 10 or 15 minutes. Finally a waiter came over and said this wasn't his table but he'd take our orders if we were ready. I wonder how much longer we'd have been sitting there if he hadn't come over. While we appreciated him paying attention to us he was rather perfunctory. Anyway he took our order. We then sat there for what seemed like a good half hour (we weren't watching or watches) before our food arrived. We had told the waiter we were going to share our entrees and he did give us extra plates. But he only gave us each a knife and a fork -- no spoons. So splitting the dishes and moving them to separate plates was a little awkward -- especially since one dish was pasta and the other chicken on a bed of mashed potato. Spoons would have helped. All in all we felt the service was lousy and next time we go to an Applebee's it won't be this one. The food was good. Indeed it was quite tasty. However, much of the food at Applebee's is full of fat and sodium. It really isn't that difficult to create dishes that are healthier. If you go once or twice a year as I do it isn't a big deal. But I wouldn't suggest eating there on a regular basis. read more

This place is horrible! First, when we walked in the hostess said there would be a 20 minute wait because "the kitchen was backed up" (that's fine...it was 7:30 on a Saturday). But as we waited to be seated, more and more people came in, got the same spiel and stood around waiting, yet there were numerous open tables?! Why not explain the situation with the kitchen and then at least seat the customers and get their drink orders while they waited?! When we were FINALLY seated, they brought us menus and then we didnt see them again for FIFTEEN minutes! Rediculous! As soon as I pulled up my Yelp app to write this review, the waitress came over. My husband said: "this place lacks Management' but I disagree, I feel it is not only common sense but common courtesy to make any fellow human being let alone a customer feel that they are important yet the hostess, waitress and some othe girl just stood around jibberjabberin while all these tables stood empty and there wasnt even standing room left in the foyer. Have been coming to this particular restaurant since I bought my house in Henrietta, 15 years ago. I was just refused service, by the staff and manager, because I came to the restaurant with my wife, 10 year old, 7 year old triplets, and my developmentally disabled twin brother. Let me just first clarify that this review is based on the experience I had at this particular franchise. Firstly - they sat us in a section where the waitress was on a break. Understandable and we overlooked that part despite waiting for 10 mins for a water to be served. It was a rather busy night and the restaurant looked pretty packed. Secondly - When the waitress came back, she looked in a rather disgruntled mood, which carried over to our service. Now me being a vegetarian, I couldn't find a single thing on the menu for myself except the normal Caesar's salad. That's okay. My problem arose when this ill-mannered, pissed off waitress just dismissed me when I asked if there was anything at all that was vegetarian apart from the salad. Now I do not know how things usually work at Applebees, but for me, as a customer a restaurant is only as good as the service they provide and how good they are at accommodating a customer's request. Mind you, I did not lose my cool or was even the slightest bit angry. I just calmly asked, "Can the chef put together a sandwich maybe? Just lettuce, onion, tomato would be fine." The waitress, being in a bad mood, lost HER cool and passive-aggressively said, "Sorry we do not substitute." We calmly asked for the check for the one soda we'd ordered and left. Poor service, poor staff and the worst kind of customer service I've ever experienced. I'm a pretty easy going guy and I would've even ordered the salad (knowing very well the limitations of my diet choice) but the fact that they even refused to put together a simple sandwich for me just made me unhappy as a customer. I felt terrible for my waitress. She was absolutely trying her best to do her job. The manager who was standing around the bar area most of the night didn't lift a finger to help the poor lady. Not once did he come ask our large party and ask how our meal was and the kitchen service was disgraceful .we got cold artichoke dip and the bowl was half empty. I asked them to warm it up , they microwaved it and brought it out 15 mins later. We were there 2 1/2 hours . they had no clue what they were doing in that place. My friend ordered a meal and had to ask for more of the red potato because they only served her 4 pieces .
