This was the worst experience I have ever had at an Applebee's in my life. We got here at 6:15, and ordered. Our spinach & artichoke dip took literally 35 minutes to come out. Then our food of course came out even later. The chicken I had was very cold, I didn't want to wait for them to go make a new one. We have a baby and she was barely getting through us waiting on an appetizer. My boyfriend ordered a burger... it was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle. It came a piece of meat and cold fries. The people sitting across from us were waiting on their appetizer still when we were paying our bill. Our waiter was no where to be found the whole time, we needed something then we asked someone else. I mean this was a terrible experience! We don't come to Applebee's often because it's usually not the best service (mainly the Highway K location) so we decided we liked this one more and it was just as bad! read more

Me and a couple pals came up for the $1 Long Island iced tea. After a few the manager started harassing us about having too many drinks (5) without eating any food when we were acting as sober as we were when we came in, We had a designated driver with us as well. So I decided to order a cheeseburger and it came out being the wrong burger! After arguing with the manager they still wouldn't let us order any more drinks. Normally avoid the pre-cooked someplace else restaurants but my daughter wanted to sit down for a late lunch and it was convenient. One other table was occupied in the whole place (4pm Monday) and I still had to ask for my daughter's water to be refilled. The riblets were so dry that I didn't care to eat all of my second refill on the all you can eat, and I have no idea how they made the fries that awful. My daughter's steak was overcooked. But he was able to get her a baked potato that was not technically available for another 10 minutes at 4pm according to the menu, otherwise it would have been 1 star. read more

Came in last weekend and placed a to go order at the bar. They completely messed up my order by giving me something I didn't order. I had no choice but to eat it due to it being after midnight and I'd made it home. I returned today for another to go order and advised the same bartender my order was completely wrong. She remembered my visit and my order but only offered a weak apology. I felt she should've reported it to the manager and my order should've been complimentary due to their mess up. read more

Been to Applebee's about twice in my lifetime. Nothing special so never returned until we received a gift card for Christmas. Ordered online and picked up car side to go. Super convenient and quick! Ordered two brunch burgers: medium cooked burger, grilled onions, American cheese, crispy hashbrowns, fried egg, and ketchup on a brioche bun... we added bacon which is not necessary. I personally was excepting them to just be a complete mess and or served with an over cooked egg. I was pleasantly surprised that the burger was served with an over easy egg that didn't break until the minute I bit into the sandwich. The side Caesar salad, broccoli, and green beans were also very delicious. More than I expected from Applebee's that's for sure. I was honestly just trying to use the gift card to get rid of it thinking it would just sit in my wallet and I'd eventually forget about it. We will definitely be ordering car side to go again!! read more

When I received an Applebee's delivery order via Grubhub the order was incomplete, both sides were missing from 2 entrees. Grubhub contacted the facility and all the manager that the sides could not be delivered and all they could do was refund $10. A quality response would have been to comp the entire meal, or at east one entree. I'll be sure and avoid this facility in the future. read more

Applebee's is SOOO MUCH better than Mimi's!!! We have had the Oriental chicken wrap and triple chocolate melt down and today we are having fajita chicken wrap AND TRIPLE CHOCOLATE MELT DOWN with two scoops of ice cream !! We had a great experience last night! We placed two orders due to people coming late and when the order that was placed second came about five minutes before the one placed first the manager came over apologized and took our apps off the bill . We weren't upset about the timing and didn't complain or anything they just felt it was not how things "should have gone." We were shocked. Appreciated the proactive nature of the manager and desire to have every experience be the best possible. We WILL be back. read more

Almost a 5 star. Been here twice and the service was friendly both times. The drinks were taken and brought out quickly but the food took a little longer than I thought it should have. It wasn't very busy, about 3pm. The waitress apologized and said they forgot one of the items I ordered. The food was very well cooked and presented nicely. I love Applebee's, always have and always will. But tonight the food was just okay. Not horrible, but not good either. Both my husband and I decided to try something new and it just didn't sit well with us. I mean we usually always get the same food items because how can you go wrong with what you know and like? My fiancée and I came in today and wanted to get the $1 drink specials. I am almost 22 and she is 21. We both had our ids ready and had no problem showing them. The issue came when the waitress got her manager and was accusing my fiancée of having a fake ID. When she turned 21 in January she had to get her license renewed and had the temporary paper copy, and her old ID with void stamped in it. Missouri recently introduced the "Real ID" for security reasons. Neither of us have this on our licenses so both of our IDs say "Not for Real ID purposes" on the front. The manger accused my fiancée in public of her ID being fake and said verbadem " look lady it says not for real ID purposes on the front" I then showed him my normal licenses which says the same thing on it. Then he proceeds to ask her for things like her debit card or her student ID like that will prove her age. The DMV literally told her to keep her old ID with void stamped in it, just in case they questioned the paper copy. I understand a lot of minors try to drink with fake ID, but who has 2 difference copies of a fake? And who would stamp void in the plastic card on a fake and then try to use it. The manger is obviously incompetent in Missouri's laws and regulations. Needless to say my fiancée was humiliated. read more

Meh. Hit or miss on whether the food tastes good. Beef is very low grade...don't try & eat it without the sauces. I did..and found out why they cover it up. I realize that the recession/depression was hard on Restaurants and that could be why the lower grade meats. Just the other day I was just telling Sarah how I wonder how any of these stay open. I haven't heard in ages anyone say "Hey let's go to Applebee's". Sure enough the next day, Sarah got a gift card to here for Christmas, so off we went. Since the last time I visited they redid the menu a bit, and added a bit more things. I still just got their cheap steak, and garlic mashed potatos. When I was younger, I came here often with my friends in Eureka, because that was one of the only places we had to go. The one thing that didn't change is their "Perfect Margarita". I've always enjoyed that, and usually always get it, when I do happen past here. I know a lot of these has closed, and I wonder if the rest will follow suit, or if the people that don't like trying new smaller/independent places will keep this chain alive. All in all, it was an okay experience on this last visit. My steak was cooked correctly, and the service was pretty good as well. I won't be returning (unless another gift card dropps in my lap), but that's only because I try to support the little guy and avoid chains when possible. read more

I feel it is very unnecessary to have to give an establishment 1 star just to rate when they didnt deserve that. Racial profiling is the act of suspecting or targeting a person of a certain race .... This came about because there was an established trend from persons who fit into this ethnicity. Wow Michelle is the worst server ever. My Co-worker and I visited Applebees to eat and we was Racially profiled. The whole time we were there she never came to our table not once. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt by saying maybe it was too busy, but in reality it was not. We saw her only when she had to take our order and when she dropped our food off. No refill on our drinks or checked to see if we needed anything... She dropped our check off and kept going. Didnt ask if we needed anything else. My Co-worker paid cash and I paid using the tablet with my debit card at the table and left her tip on the table. Instead of checking the table for the bill she proceeded to run to our car with 3 ice teas for a different table in her hand and told us we need to PAY and may I add we asked for a to go drink and we never received. I politely went in and ask to speak with a member of management. The first manager I came in contact with was rude as hell, he acted as though it was no big deal that this happened and didn't even bother to apologize. The situations escalated so the kitchen manager Alan came out and tried to address the issue but we were on our lunch break so he gave me the General Manager's and corporate contact information. Alan was very empathetic and he apologized for what we had experienced.I will be following up on this incident when I get off work. read more

The server we had was attentive, sometimes so quick we didn't notice my husband had a refill of his drink. Love going a bit later in the evening past the rush.
