Visited on May 27th, 2023. Food was average. We do not usually eat at Applebees but had a gift card and decided to try them again. When we finished the meal, we were told the credit card machine was down and that we could pay with cash or they would write down our credit card number and run it through when the machine was back up. They also advised we could not use the gift card, something that was odd since they could take the credit card number for processing but not the gift card which could be verified by calling the number on the card (their gift card). We soon realized they were seating more people and not telling them of this issue until they had already finished their meal. While I understand the machine malfunction, the staff should have told new arrivals and honored the gift cards. I reached out to Melanie the manager who apologized for the card machine being down but did not address the failure to tell customers or the gift card issue. Not wanting to leave my name and credit card number on a slip of paper, we paid with cash and still have the gift card. Not a great experience. read more

Went here last night and ordered the 4-cheese mac and cheese with chicken strips. When the food came; the pasta and chicken strips were cold. The PLATE was warmer than the food. Service wasn't great either as none of our drinks were refilled the whole time we were there. Hello, I was just eating here and I'm sorry to say but I am extremely upset with, first off I did not enjoy my food. It made me feel sick to my stomach.. not sure if it was even cooked. Second, there was half of the employees sitting down eating Where everyone could see. Third, the waiter came by the booth ever 10 minutes and only came 3 times around. Forth, half of the menu was not available. Fifth the employees had the music up way to loud so where us customers had to yell to talk to our peers. Also one of the employees kept playing a new song ever 3 seconds The customer service was probably the worst I've ever seen and that says a lot. Im not completely sure if the staff look at these reviews or not but my experiences at this location have always been great! Tonight my family went out to celebrate my sisters birthday as well as my own- the food was warm and delicious. This comment is for the service:) All of the people there were so very kind and patient with my group of 7. I can't tell you how much that is appreciated. I used to come here a lot with my gal pals for dinner and drinks. Until one evening when this "regular" kept staring at us. When me and my one friend walked into the women's bathroom before we left, I stood at the sink to gussy up and to wash my hands as my friend used the toilet. I heard the door open, I turned, and was shocked to find this man staring right back at me. It was really creepy as he stood there for a little before turning around. I told a manager and they said "oh it's fine, he didn't mean it. He's a regular." If he is a regular, how would he NOT know where the men's bathroom is? My family and I visited Applebees last night. We showed up before 6p and was told a 10-15 minute wait. That ended up closer to 20-25 minutes. When we were sat down we were offered a plastic or wooden high chair - very nice that we had an option! We ordered a Kids meal and an appetizer platter to be out first - Anyone with chidren understands the dinnertime struggle and we were really hoping they would be even extra speedy with it. About 20 minutes later all 3 of our meals came out. Ugh. Not only did we not get the kids food expedited like we had asked, we didn't even get our sampler platter. Overall bummed with our visit. Ordered med rare steak. Not med rare and full of fat and gristle. Manager only gave us $8 dollars back. Waitress could figure out how to put money back on the card so she gave us cash except she only gave us $7. We have been a frequent customer of Apple bees and this location as much as 3 times a months for many years. Wait time for food was very slow too. Have always enjoyed the burgers here! Although most people I know don't think of Applebee's as a "steak place", I have found the steaks to be reasonably priced and reasonably good. We used to really like the fajitas here, but recipe changed awhile back and we don't order fajitas here anymore. Applebee's is one of my sentimental favorite places to go, it was a place my wife and I started going to all the way back to our college days. It is a fun and comfortable atmosphere that I like going to because it isn't loud. The 2 for $20 menu has helped keep it affordable. I love Applebee's. read more

She never did come back to our table to check to see how our food was. When she did bring the food to us, I had received the wrong vegetable. Mashed potatoes were cold, but unable to tell the server, as she never checked back with us. The food was not good at all. The servers need to be taught excellent guest service. Worst meal I've had in a very long time! Food was not evenly cooked and very dry. Our waitress was apathetic and made us feel like we were asking too much of her for simple things. I ordered a drink (regular margarita on the rocks) when it came it was luke-warm. I waited for some ice to cool it down and then it was disgusting. I asked for her to take it away and get me a long island instead. When that drink came, it was YELLOW! I thought TEA was brown? THEN she charged me an extra $3 for the long island. So I basically paid for 2 drinks, got to drink one, and enjoyed neither. When I got home I called the manager to let him know about how displeased I was, and he really could care less. One of my favorite places to go since I've moved here. I use to visit the Applebees in another state often and was treated very well by the staff. So coming to this location and feel the same welcoming embrace is amazing. I love the staff here. Ventured to my local Applebees upon the reopening of their dining area due to the corona. Pro: they have upgraded to an awesome hand smashed burger!! Dancing! Rivals anyone in town. Con: understandably overprotective, they handed out straws in paper, put ketchup, mustard, ect on your plate in lidded plastic containers, gave me a plastic sack with my take home box. The waste is unnecessary. Servers: Don't lay down a straw, or put plastic containers of condiments on the plate unless requested. Diners: due diligence on making a change in all restaurants. I recently arrived at Applebees's before going to a Dinner Theatre practice at my church, we arrived at 6:30ish and we figured it wouldn't take long, we got told up front it would be a five minute wait to be seated and it was around 7 or 8 which isn't bad. Upon being seated at a table we got our orders s ready for our drinks and our meals and waited anD waited and waaited and waited until finally our waiter Andrew walked over he apologized for the wait and took our drink orders and we didn't want to wait again for him to come back so we ordered our food also. I ordered a Dr. Pepper and endless shrimp and ribs, after he came back he had given me a Root beer whicH isn't what I had asked for then my sisters root beer also but not our oarents drinks so not only the 5 mins for the wait on drinks but another 3 for my parents. After my food came out the shrimp I had ordered had very bland breading and was difficult to eat, the coleslaw was hard to eat do to a weird dirty taste to it, I went to reorder a thing of ribs and my parents both ordered shrimp again and the came back and gave me shrimp anyways, same bland taste, now I really wanted ribs but it was new nearring the ruins I had to leave and I counted Andrew our waiter walked by our table that had three empty plates and two empty cups about 12 times he walked by so we had to leave and it took him 11 mins for us to pay. We visited this location a few times and the service sucks. Then in January we went and they took the transaction out 29 days later. Then they took it out a second time 48 days after that. The store manager Chris never apologize only told me I should have compassion for them and their employees since they can't pay "bills" since the company they use is having issues processing payments. He then proceeded to tell me that he couldn't help me and wouldn't help me. I will never step another foot in another Applebee's. Had lunch with my wife around 12pm. Restaurant was packed, and we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. The hostess was very nice, as was the waitress. The food and drinks were delivered in a timely manner. The manager walked around to make sure people were enjoying their meals. The manager even jumped in to help us with getting another condiment before the waitress had a chance to return. Fast and excellent service and food. I downloaded this app JUST to speak on how horrible this place is. When you come in and get seated, don't expect to be asked for what you want to drink for around ehhhh 20 minutes. After they ask you what you want to drink, also don't expect it for another 20 minutes. In fact expect to be forgotten that you are even seated EVEN if there is only 3 other family's in there later at night. But wait there's more- after you finally get your drinks (if you haven't left yet) the food will take ANOTHER 20 minutes no matter how empty the place is. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. This has happen to me the past 3 times I went there and the only 3 time I'm ever going to go there. Best customer service ever! There is a young host who is so professional! He nods to say hello and it is like a 5 star restaurant! Food is right every time and they can keep orders correct even with a large party! The are so busy though - got to get there early.
