Was not necessarily bad per se, but the food took a while to make and my bacon cheeseburger was good, but very greasy. I would not say the staff were rude or mean, but they seemed generally unfriendly or just not sociable, which I get especially at 12:30. Besides that it was nice. We ate dinner here tonight. It's a celebration for my daughter's promotion with her job. The parking lot was very crowded. We were seated immediately. Our waitress, a very nice young lady with a beautiful smile, took our drink order and returned quickly. She gave my grandson three refills at one time because she said she knows teenagers always drink a lot when they first get here and true to her word he drink two of them right away . We placed our food orders and only had to wait maybe 10 minutes at the most for our food to come out piping hot. I feel they make the best quesadillas anywhere. They also have a full bar and you're also able to eat at the bar if it's too crowded. The ambience of the restaurant is mostly sports themed, but Easter is coming up so they had Easter decorations here and there and a small Easter table with Easter eggs for the children to enjoy when they come in. Every time we come here to Applebee's, the food is always good. Our service is always excellent and we've been happy with our service. I highly recommend Applebee's. They're a little pricey, but that's OK because the amount of food that you get you get what you pay for and it's always good. Top quality food. Like I said, the parking is a little tight, they have extra places that you can park, but you'd have to walk a little bit, but thankfully, we were able to get a handicap spot right up front. read more

it was absolutely disgusting I order the broccoli Alfredo and it was hard and crunchy didn't get it until 45 minute later it was sitting in under a heat light! the waitress brought extra Alfredo sauce to try to make it better. the waitress totally forgot us! now I know why no-one was there this place absolutely sucks never will be back rather drive the extra 10 minutes to Cortez! talk to the manger and by the look on his face it wasn't the first time he been out there talking with people the pasta was undercooked bring extra sauce wasn't going to help! read more

We chose this location after poor service at another hoping for a lovely meal. After a Sunday evening dinner we are still looking unfortunately. I saw TV commercials for the "new" irresti-bowls and decided on the Crispy Orange Chicken bowl, and hubby wanted wings and fries. I asked for a Mudslide and hubby had a Yuengling, which was 2 for 1 happy hour special. Our drinks were good, but that's where it ended. The Crispy Orange Chicken bowl was served with the sauce on the side, but the chicken nuggets were like hockey puck hard. The veggies and cilantro rice were so spicy my mouth was on fire - inedible for me. Needed water desperately! My husband's fries arrived cold, adding to the unhappiness. I waited and waited for our waitress Lori Lyn to reappear to check on the food we were served so that I could send it back - no luck. Finally flagged down another waitress to ask for her to return - she returned after another wait. I asked for plain rice, but wasn't available because everything comes in preseasoned. Since my husband already had eaten, I ordered a grilled chicken salad to take home. Our waitress then went to another table to take their order before placing mine! We had a gift card for this meal so we didn't spend money for the disastrous meal, but we won't ever go back to an Applebee's due to lack of food quality and service. read more

Went there last night for a rare dinner out with my husband. It was quite busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server was a young man, can't remember his name but he was attentive and obviously a little newer to serving. We didn't order any cocktails or appetizers just our meals which came came out pretty fast considering being busy. My husband loved the endless boneless wings and fries and I had the fish and chips. Unfortunately my fish was a little undercooked in the center. I looked around and it appeared that several people weren't very pleased with their meals considering the amount of food left on the plates. We were sat near the front door and could hear the people that were put in the seating list being very rude and loudly complaining that they had to wait, despite empty tables. Terrible management. Took forever to get mine and my fiancé drinks. He Ordered a rare steak I got the chicken parm Alfredo and children ordered their food. Children's food and appetizer came out but his order came and his steak was burnt on one side and was like rubber. Sent the food back and no manager came to the table my fiancé had to go and find the manager who the said that they were just about to bring my food almost 20 mins later. Already frustrated he and the manager started to get loud. The manager was unprofessional because he didn't even come to the table after the send back to check on us things got out of hand and then customers started to get involved and it was just ridiculous. In turn he gets trespassed over something that got blown out of proportion because customers started to include themselves in stuff that had nothing to do with them. We drive into the parking lot , we get out of our car. There's a man just near the door on the driveway laying on the ground. Bleeding profusely!! 2 ladies are with him. One is holding an umbrella( too keep the sun off him ) and one's crying . We walk over. My husband asked if he can help. They say. No. We called 911. Hubby ask again. No.. so we go inside . We tell the girl seating us. She says she's going to tell the mgr. no one went outside. We tell out waitress. She does go tell the mgr. mgr comes out walking slow. We tell her just in case. That man needs help. We watch her walk toward the Door very slowly. Hardly a knowledge us when we told her btw. Instead of making a right to go outside. She made a hard left for the Bar area . Not once did we see anyone from Applebees go outside to see what's up. Ambulance showed up and they left. We went outside to get in our car and there was nasty amounts of blood by the curb on the driveway near the door . Mgr sucked in emergency situation. Although our waitress Angelina was very good !! It has been a long time since I've visited an Applebee's, so I happy to try this location when we were in the area. The staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient, and our food came out quickly. Our server was great and very patient, as two members of our party arrived quite a bit later, but she never tried to rush us to turn over the table. Now on to the important part - the food! My hubby tried their bone in wings in the honey BBQ flavor, and devoured them before the rest of us made a dent in our meals - so he clearly loved them! My daughter tried the balsamic chicken and berry salad (don't remember the exact name), and it turned out to be a large salad with lots of chicken and berries (a definite plus). She liked it, but it wasn't anything that would bring me back to the restaurant on its own. I had the chicken wonton tacos (on the appetizer menu) for my meal and absolutely loved it! The mix of textures and flavors in this dish is perfect, and definitely something that makes me want to return to Applebee's over and over. There was a decent amount of chicken in each taco, and they had a delicious flavor, but were not too spicy. The cold Asian slaw in the taco helped balance out the chicken's heat. The wonton shells were a great vessel, providing a crunch texture, and absorbing some of the liquid from the chicken and slaw. The only downsides to the chicken wonton tacos: (1) the chicken and slaw sauce may drip out, and (2) they don't work out as well as leftovers because the shells get soggy in the fridge and start to fall apart. This is something you want to eat fresh to get the optimal tasting experience. I've tried to replicate these at home, and with the steps involved and having to make fresh shells, it's much easier to go down to Applebee's and order some for their very reasonable price! I did knock down one star because the bathroom wasn't in great condition and the floors were a mess (from rain - need more rugs for safety). One note, although we were there for lunch, the menu seemed geared towards dinner-type meals. It would be nice if they had more lunch items (or half size meals) available for those who don't want something huge for lunch. Until then, we can keep using the appetizer menu. read more

This must be a franchise. They do not honor any of the drink specials advertised by Applebee's. The half off apps starts after 10pm and are limited as to what is included. The only Covid precautions taken are masks. No social distancing. You are seated with no protection. read more

Upon entry the greeter was pleasant. There was no crowd and we were seated immediately. Then the trouble starts. We waited several minutes without being approached by the wait staff. Finally part of our drink order arrived. We asked two more times for the missing drinks, one of which was just a water. Waiter seemed embarrassed but rather than apologize and move on he became angry and sarcastic. Waiter never offered to take our food order. As we got up to leave a brief conversation with the manager made it obvious why the service was so poor, the manager acted as though he didn't see a problem. Not the usual experience. :( Got the garlic steak - do not recommend. The broccoli was saturated in garlic..couldn't eat it. Mom's steak was overcooked, and both steaks were chewy. The server and manager, however, were very apologetic, and tried to correct mom's steak - but it was super chewy so they comped it. I wish I would have accepted them even if just to take a picture and then send them back. While I understand businesses are not doing well, burnt food, bad excuses and attitude are unacceptable. I was brought burnt wonton tacos and when I refused them explaining that they were obviously burnt the staff made it all better by explaining she was new and wouldn't know. I was confused since there are literally pictures of them all over the restaurant, menu and a billboard in the entrance I mean, am I missing something? Is this the first time anyone ordered such popular item? So I complain to the waitress and again same excuse, the girl is new.What?! Is the cook new too?! Service was friendly and fast. Food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. EXACTLY as I requested. I've always said that if you go to the same place often enough you'll hit an off night. Take it in stride and try again. Especially these days when everyone is struggling for help. Applebees didn't disappoint. Dinner was great portions were big. After a very negative experience a few evenings before at Ruby Tuesday, this was a much better experience. While our burgers were a bit on the pricey side, they were served hot and were delicious. The fries were fresh and very good. Our only complaint is the MUSIC . It was too loud (they did turn it down a little at our request) and consisted entirely of Club Music. People wanting to enjoy dinner and some conversation DO NOT want to hear this. We were there at about 6 PM, and some low contemporary or Classic Rock would have been fine, but not the garbage they were playing. Being disappointed would be an understatement. We had the most worst experience ever. The area was down right cold. The music was so loud that we literally had to yell at each other to hold a conversation. The food was terrible. We had the Texas taco salad. Due to the place being so cold half way through was pure grease. Even other customers were making comments. A couple had to send their soup back because it was hot, not even warm. Until they get their act together I definitely will not be returning nor would recommend. read more
