I have been to this Applebee's many times over the past few years, and I have never had a bad experience. The food is always good and never makes me sick, like every other place does. On top of that, my girlfriend has severe food allergies to dairy and onions, and they are always sure to make sure that her food is safe to eat. One time, they did bring her steak out with onions on it, but quickly remade it and apologized. It's a great place to get a quick meal at, every once and a while. read more

This place is not a very attentive Applebees. It has gone down hill quite a bit in the last couple of years...alot of servers have poor attitudes, a couple of months ago I experienced dirty plates and silverware with food particles stuck on them. If I could take away the 1 star I would. Went today with my family got seated around 5:18 we walked in around 5:15 ish. Say down we're waited on for drinks a few minutes later. He came out fast got our food order and then we sit there start to notice almost every table after us that was seat has their appetizers and food by now. My aunt I was with asked him as we walked by to the other tables who had their food and said "how much long for the appetizer?" It was now 6:18. He slammed the drink tray which was full down at the bar and went to the kitchen. Came out with the appetizer didn't speak threw it down walked away. He didn't come back and disappear out the back door and didn't check on us. Need less to say do not go if you want quality. Applebee's was great maybe 15 years ago. Since then, something has happened. The quality is lacking, but the price is the same. Since it is a chain (my area doesn't have too many), it is popular. But service is poor and SLOOOOOOW! Also, do NOT go there if you are vegetarian. Sure I know, that's kind of a new thing. I'm used to only getting appetizers as a vegetarian if that's all they offer. But even the starters at Applebee's are filled with bacon, beef, etc. I've asked for no meat, there are still crumbles in it. I know I know, I'm a weird vegetarian. But a lot of people are these days, and we can't even get a salad there. So yeah... I'd give it more stars if they worked on their service, cleanliness and options. Went last night, food was not tasty at all, service was very slow, waited 10 minutes for drinks and the 30 minutes for food and all we were getting were burgers. Grandson ordered combination as app and took him 20 minutes to get ranch dressing. Spinach dip was yuck and even the potato chips were soggy. Learned a valuable lesson today - Don't order all the food at once -- it will come all at once. I got the entree long before the appetizer and even longer before the soup. So there I sit -- with three hot items cooling off, and I have a dilemma as to which to eat first. The waitress said it was the computer that screwed things up. Well - next time - I will order the appetizer - when that comes -- I will order the soup - and so on. The hostess passed up 8 empty booths to take us to a table with not enough chairs - what is that? Everytime I go here I'm stuck waiting forever after I'm seated- to get drinks, to get appetizers, to get my meal, to get the check. The service is not good and the food quality is hit and miss... A lot of the better staff moved to Texas Roadhouse when it opened up less than 2 minutes away. Oh, and the prices keep going up. I've pretty much given up on Applebee's. Service is terrible! Wait staff never seem like they want to be there, and the food takes a long time to get to the table.

The service here is an absolute nightmare, not only from the wait staff but also the managers. I even witnessed a manager drinking an alcoholic beverage during his shift when I came in to enjoy a nice family style dinner. My bourbon street steaks were so well done they were borderline burnt. Our waitress was very casual shirt untucked hair wild with fluorescent socks. Not very hygienic. When the food finally arrived after an hour wait it was cold, and my nephews meal arrived about twenty minutes after everyone else.
