Came here a few weeks ago and got the Veal Undinos! Was absolutely amazing! Came back today and decided to try the Crab Stuffed Shrimp and it didn't disappoint! We belong to a social organization which meets and eats monthly at this banquet facility. It is advertised as an Italian eatery. At 69 I am the youngest member of this organization which typically has 40-50 people show up monthly. The banquet food that is served at these functions is at the mercy of different cooks. No "chef" would admit to serving such lubricating taste challenged meals. The most recent affair included a decent salad, the famous pizza bread, along with the main dish choice of either chicken covered in a mysterious brown sauce, well-greased baked cod, or an over cooked cabbage roll. At least this month no one had to put in their sharper dentures. The tiny piece of pre-frozen cake was insulting. The awfully weak coffee was lighter in color than the iced tea. They did a bang-up excellent job on the ice water. Based upon the amount of grease/oil on the potatoes, the amount of butter on the corn, and the viscosity of the main dish, any senior who was at this affair who did not have a rigorous bowel moment the next day needs to go to the hospital -- as they must be seriously impacted and/or need the services of roto rooter. The next month's gathering was supposed to be a picnic and a break away from eating at this place. Unfortunately, our lady of cheapness prevailed, as all parks next month will not have the water turned on and old people "especially the women" need "facilities" instead of pretending they are bears in the woods. So, we get to have another surprise meal next month if we are daring enough to attend, wish to be "sociable" or just show up to find out who is still alive. Alas, this review of this facility is my blunt honest personal opinion, based upon 6 months of monthly meals, and may not match the experiences or opinions of others who have swallowed such festive menus from the depths of these supposed Italian eatery cooks. I am still puzzled as to why they call this place an Italian eatery because my experience with their spaghetti offerings was worse than Chef Boyardee. My advice to others is - outside of the pizza bread -- McDonald's has tastier food than this place; but if you need your innards greased up, this just may be the place for you! Wooo weeee! read more

ordered a pound of wings extra crispy, not only were they not extra crispy. They were pink and tasted like raw meat. Tried to call the restaurant to complain only to reach a voicemail that's full that you can't leave a message. In the meantime, I'm hovering over the porcelain goddess puking. I called the only number they had which is the leasing for catering and left my message there before I go to the health department in the morning. If I can never will I eat there again. We were at Undo's for my husband's family holiday get-together. As a result, we had a private room with four large, round tables set up for us. We only used/filled 3. We had 2 dedicated waitresses and a limited menu. Thank goodness for me, there was a grilled chicken salad. My husband had PLENTY of items to pick from - and for most people, there was something to make them happy. No descriptions were on the menu - they were pretty much self-explanatory - or so I thought. Hubby got the meatball sandwich which came with fries. IT WAS HUGE. The other orders came out - cheese ravioli, sausage and peppers, chicken parm - all priced between $11-16, all fair to generous servings. Mine was last by about 8-10 minutes after everyone had been served. I couldn't figure out why - simple enough to make, right? Well when they brought out my chicken salad - all heads turned and took note. It was HUGE and covered with fries - no clue this was their idea of a salad. The photo I will post is taken after I tried to pick all the fries off and gave them to hubby. Once they were gone, it was a relatively healthy meal. It was only iceberg lettuce, so I didn't eat much of it and focused on all the good stuff on top. When finished, I think I was able to eat all the chicken, eggs, cukes, tomatoes, green peppers, olives - but not the shredded mozzarella. The one other good thing they brought out was the garlic cheese bread - served with all entrees. I didn't try the red marinara dipping sauce, but I did cut off a piece of Hubby's bread to try. It was warm and delicious. It didn't seem too garlicky, but when I woke in the middle of the night (after brushing my teeth), I still tasted it. While we don't live in the area, I definitely would recommend and eat here again. read more

Wanted someplace where we could have a couple beers and watch the game. Surprise the draft is discounted during penguins games. We ordered the Sunday special linguine with 2 meatballs! Was delicious it came with bread and a salad. Only 10.99 The salad was very nice had black olives cherry tomatoes pepperoni cheese cukes onions and a pepper. Nice selection of dressings. The bread was the size of a personal pizza and had a nice amount of cheese on it they serve it with butter that is warmed at the table. The spaghetti and meatballs were very tasty best meatballs in the area !! Our waitress was Glory and was extremely nice and very attentive. We had to ask another waitress to have our server get our salads for us. Then we had to wait on the cheesy bread with our food coming out minutes later. We felt like we were being rushed after waiting 10 minutes for our salads. She was more concerned about being at the end of the bar drinking. I feel this was very unprofessional. We did leave her a tip because I served for over 25 years and know how important tips are. If she would of done her job correctly she would of gotten a cash tip at 25%. Went for an event last Saturday in their party room. The event did not have the beverage that I preferred, so I went around the corner to the bar to get my beverage. The entire bar was full with what looked like out of state workers. Other then that there was no one in the dining room. I stood there 10 minutes, watched the bartender look me dead in the eye, and proceeded to put on their hoodie, and head outside. An hour later, same thing, same exact response. Told the waitress and she took it away and after about five minutes the manager/hostess (with mostest/attitude) came over and said she would take some off our bill left and promptly brought out food. Nothing fancy, but you get large quantities of food for the money. At dinnertime, the cheesebread appears be unlimited and the chicken basket special that's available on Tuesdays is an entire half a rotisserie chicken plus a side and salad. With all that cheesebread, it's not exactly healthy, but you won't leave hungry and the food quality is very solid. Definitely a good value, especially for a hotel restaurant and bar. read more

It's unfortunate, but the good days of Undo's having great food are over. Three of us were given four sorry pieces of cheesy bread, despite requesting them and willing to pay extra. I never ate at this restaurant until today, we noticed advertising weeks ago and people raved about their Prime Rib Sunday Brunch! We read the reviews in yelp and we just had to try it. The reviews talked about the cook to order stations for omelets and crepes. Who doesn't like Prime Rib, especially when it is properly prepared and not cooked to kill it. Well, what a joke!!! They stopped the prime rib two months ago! The corn be hash was not fit to eat! The scrambled eggs were cooked solid in the storage pan and the only scrambling were pieces broke up when taking a scoop out of the massive chunk. The fish was cook dry! The seating was done in a sports bar and not a dinning area as photos depict. If this place ever was of any quality, someone mistook the name Undo's for 'un-do' and for me it is done! If you like dining in a bar with booths, high chairs and tables and are doing the afternoon buzz prior to football, great place. But if you like family dining, you are not going to find it here. Undos has a killer deal that includes a pretty good portion of steak cooked to your liking, full side salad with plenty of veggies, a baked potato with sour cream or butter, and their "cheesy bread" which is basically an endless supply of garlic cheese bread aka white pizza. We stayed at the hotel for the night and had an Dinner there. It was OK, nothing really wow-ing about it. The service was OK, the only problem I had was stealing silverware from another table. Dinner by itself would have been 3 stars - it was OK. Breakfast on the other hand was awful. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with a side of hash browns and a side of fresh fruit. The melon in the fruit was spoiled it had a funny smell and brownish/blackish color to it. I can't believe they even served it. The sandwich itself was not good. Loved the Holiday Inn express attached to this restaurant. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. But I'm here to talk about Undo's so let's get down to what I did and didn't like about this Italian restaurant. Pros: drinks were cheap and in good size glasses at the bar. Fun filled place at night with many tables and karaoke. Cheesy bread is very tasty. Crunchy crust and cheesy doughy inside. Highly recommend ordering it if it does not already come with your meal. Cannoli, next time I will come here just for that. Drizzled in chocolate, cannoli cream mixed with chocolate chips and a topping of Whipped cream. Yum! Cons: unfortunately for dinner we were seated at a table that wasn't cleaned from the people before us. Had to ask for napkins and utensils already after our food came out. Some of the wine glasses had smudges and lipstick marks as if they weren't washed. Our ravioli appetizer was over cooked, could barely cut with a knife. My moms taste of Italy meal was over cooked and dry. I ordered the Tuscany chicken, which was tasty, but I had to say I was disappointed in the small size of chicken under all that cheese. It was supposed to include artichoke hearts but I felt that they were the main dish and it was served with a side of chicken instead. I guess it's okay for a sports bar. Sadly, this might be the cleanest bar in Weirton. The bar staff are friendly, the beer specials are great during games ($1 domestic drafts) and the food is good. They give you large portions. But really, its just poorly managed. There is stuff all over the walls, frankly its distracting. The bartenders keep their personal belongings in plain sight. I mean they cell phones, eye drops, Tylenol, gum... Come on. Put it away. If you plan on eating at Undo's for the first time I would go into with the expectations that you have to get the cheesy bread, and from that moment on you will be addicted to their cheesy bread. That being said the quality of all other food items seems either consistent or like it is going down hill. I recall the first time we went the pizza was excellent, a few years later we ate here again and it was obviously a frozen crust and not what we remembered at all. The restaurant was located as the same place as the hotel sports bar, but it offered full meals so the atmosphere was along the lines of a little dark with multiple televisions showing sports with music playing through the speakers. It was a little loud but not too bad. I had the day of the week special of steak and ravioli. Steak wasn't that great but the ravioli was good along with their cheesy bread. All in all I have had much better but it wasn't that bad. Coming from an area with numerous authentic Italian family restaurants, I've had much better but also I've had worse. I'm just going to give it to you straight. Undo's is located inside the Holiday Inn Weirton. As of March 31, 2017, I've stayed at this hotel twice, and ordered twice from Undo's. I took my orders back to my room, as I'm not a fan of eating in a bar atmosphere. First, Undo's is a neat place. The decor is interesting, and relaxing. The place is clean. The staff that I've dealt with were very nice, and very attractive. They've done a great job getting my order correct. No problem there, at all. Their menu has some really unique items. Now, here's why I dinged them one star (as you'll also see in my comment in the 'Tips' section, below). As I mentioned, I've eaten from Undo's twice. The staff and service were great, both times. but, the first time I ate here, I was a bit disappointed. I'd tell you what I ordered, but Undo's doesn't have an online menu to refer to, for the actual name of the item. One item was (6, I believe) "pizza roll"-type appetizers. Not bad. I also ordered a "nacho chips" item, that sounded good on the menu. When I opened the box, in my room-----uh,-----tortilla chips, with a little cup of spaghetti sauce, and one of parmesan cheese. I could've done this with items from a convenience store. So, first time wasn't so great. I ate there again, this past week, hoping that it would be better. It was a completely different experience! To start with, the waitress gave me a different menu than the last time. Hmmmm.....odd. Didn't know they had more than one menu. I ordered the Linguine and Meatballs, with a salad, and cheesy bread. Everything about this meal was superb! I won't go into every little detail, but this meal was fantastic. So, I've had one so-so experience, and one fantastic experience at Undo's. As I said in my 'Tip' below, consistency would be what I would work on the most. That's why I gave them 4 stars, instead of 5. I'll eat there again, but I'll make sure I pay attention to which menu is offered. Overall, nice place, nice staff, and interesting, not-so-common items to choose from. I'd cautiously recommend you try it, at least once. I noticed on their website, it says they've been around since 1953. They have four restaurants. Their statement is, "We believe that an Undo's will expand to a city near you!" I live in Columbus, OH, 118 miles from the closest Undo's, in St. Clairsville, OH. Prior to a month ago, I'd never heard of Undo's. Secondly, in almost 65 years in business, they've only acquired 4 restaurants, and have barely expanded to within an hour of Wheeling WV. I doubt that I'll be seeing them anywhere near me this century. But, I'm in the Wheeling and Weirton areas, pretty frequently. I'll stop by. read more

After ten minutes of sitting at the bar and not being waited on the "manager" brought a menu and asked if I wanted something to drink. I ordered a beer and another five minutes went by and the guy never came back. I get there was a big game on but you're still in the service industry, pay attention to your customers and not the game on tv.
