Very disappointed!!...we walked in and was told it was a 29 minute wait...not a problem it's a Friday night of course it's going to be busy. Then Me and my girlfriend get a table finally, and we literally sit there for 25 minutes before our waitress greeted us. She proceeded to ask if we been sitting for a minute..I told her yes we have , and she apologized for me the wait she didn't get notified she had a table...I told her it's ok it happens.....so she took our order...we ordered the 2 for 20 ordered 2 side salads chicken strips and pasta....We waited 60 MINUTES for them to bring our entire order out AT ONCE!!! Our salad the app and our main course all at once!!....The food was bland not seasoned...waste of our time and money, never will be back to this location read more

the las time I came to this restaurant I had terrible service, pasta was over cooked and the waitress tried to tell me the pasta comes out like that all the time which it doesn't. I used to love this Applebee's and ordered almost weekly over the past year. On 10/29/20 I placed an order online and called to cancel it immediately after because my family had changed their mind. The host gave me no confirmation number when I asked for one and said my card would be refunded and I was all set. It is now 12/14/20 and I have STILL not revived my refund of $65!! I have talked to FOUR managers of this place and have gotten passed around. My refund was FINALLY processed 12/2/20 after having to call constantly to get it refunded. I look today after still not receiving my money and it was processed to the wrong card number. They couldn't even take the time to make sure they were going through the proper steps. This business does not care about their guests. I totally get things happen as I work in retail but this is absolutely unacceptable. Terrible business and I would not recommend this Applebee's to anyone after going through all of this!!! read more

Ordered car side to go, I placed my order 2 hours before when I wanted to pick it up because it was a busy day and I didn't want to have a wait. Got there exactly when I was supposed to and the waited about 20 minutes or so for my food to actually be ready. The food was no where near as good of quality and was luke warm. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience I had here. Dined on 7/3/18. Our server was attentive and courteous stopping by several times during our meal. We had drinks and apps around 1PM. The manager was visible in the restaurant. He was running food and also dropped our food off as well. Apps were pretty good and drinks were made properly. read more

This place was absolutely terrible. Friday night at around 10:30 walking in this restaurant, we decided to sit at the bar to have a bite to eat and a beer. After sitting there for 5min with no one behind the bar, we were about to get up and leave, then finally someone showed up and told us that the bartender was taking a break because he was overwhelmed.??? So she took our drink order. After another 5min went by, the bartender finally showed up and took our food order. When our food order came out, it almost looked like it was thrown on the plate. This place was very disorganized, with the manager doing nothing but walking around and setting a blind eye to the things that needed attention to. Along with with the dysfunction of this facility, we noticed how filthy the area behind the bar was. I don't have to mention, but I will that we won't be back. Applebees on Monroe st toledo ohio . i went in there to have dinner with my husband ordered the all u can eat riblet platter and all u can eat chix tender platter. That damn resturant was so cold i couldnt finish my dinner and at 13.0p a plate its crazy i told our waiter and he said he cant control the air or heat and that its controlked at main head wuarters in nebraska...what!!! Gtfoh!!! No other apple bees is like that there are several other customers complaing also. Ill never go there again.. read more

We go to Applebees for 1/2 off appetizers because they are open late, not because the food is especially tasty or because the staff is even okay. It's normally disappointing, but for only a few dollars we can eat and not have to do dishes! read more

This review is strictly about the service. We went in here late night just to grab a bite to eat. It was probably close to 1030-11 (so a couple hours before closing). We ordered a bunch of appetizers (half-off). About 15 minutes after our orders were put in, our waitress came back to tell us that they ran out of Steak Quesadilla Towers and Chicken Wonton tacos, which 4 people from our group ordered. After changing our orders, the food came out but was served by 3 people- none of which were our waitress. I hate when the food is brought out by people other than our waiter, especially with a large group because it always takes a while to figure out who has what. The waitress should just bring the food and give it to the person who ordered it. So with that in mind, a bunch of us had ordered wings but all the orders that came out were wrong (except 2 orders). Everything else was the wrong type (boneless vs bone in) or the wrong sauce. When we told the servers that 5 of the wing orders were wrong, they acted all annoyed as if it was our fault the orders were brought out incorrectly. So most of the people in our group just took the orders that were the right sauce but wrong type. We were left with one order of wings that was completely wrong so we asked for it to be redone. We ended up having to ask 3 different people and waiting until everyone else had finished eating before we finally got the last order. And with all that, they didn't give us anything to make up for the mess ups. Overall, not my best experience there but then again, I have to say it's not the worst either! read more

Couldn't even get a hostess to seat us. Walked in @ 8:30pm, many empty tables, several servers walked nearby, 2 bartenders not very busy. Not one person acknowledged us, no hostess any where. 2 people were waiting when we walked in so we asked if they were waiting to be seated, they stated they had spoken to a hostess. I joined Yelp today just to write this review. My family and I had the worse experiance here ever. Our waitress was awful. She had a group of her friends at a booth behind ours and could never come to our table. We sat with empty drinks while she was eating cake with her friends. My husband talked to the manager and nothing was done. The food is not so good that we could overlook this. Sorry but our family will never go to another Applebee's again. read more

I don't know anybody who hasn't visited an Applebee's so I'll just put it this way: it's a classic, well run Applebee's. The menu is typically mediocre with nothing astounding on it; it's all very basic "American" food. This location does it well, though, and has a nice atmosphere. It's okay, it's been taking a while for the guy to come back w/ drinks and asking our orders.

To begin with i don't usually complain about service, but this was so bad that I had to. Ordered from to go menu, they said it would be 20 minutes, when i got there, it was not ready yet, so i had to wait another 5 minutes for the food to be ready. At this time, the not very friendly staff informed me that they did not have tomato basil soup, and if i wanted the potato. Which was weird since I knew they they had French onion and chili. Change my order to Chili, she then informs me that it shouldn't take long, 10 minutes later i ask her how much longer, she says she will check, she disappeared and never came back. One waitress- the only nice waitress there offered to help. The chili came out 5 minutes later. The rude staff handed it to me without saying a word. While i was walking out the nice waitress apologized and gets the manager. The manager comes over i tell him what happened - all he offers is to remake the food. No thanks already just waited too long. The food was cold and was not good. I had the shrimp teriyaki bowl, the vegetables were raw. My boyfriend had steak and potatoes - and the onions were raw, and some of the potatoes were raw. The French onion soup he ordered had been sitting for so long that it was also cold and the bowl was 5 bucks and was filled up half way. The chili was good but also had to be warmed up. I will never go to this Applebees again, and I will probably not go to any Applebees ever again. read more

Came in and ordered fries and boneless wings around 9:15pm. The place was not busy at all upon my arrival. I wondered what took my food so long to come after 25 minutes, and the waitress comes over and says she gave my fries to another table behind me. Everyone else got their food already, and had eaten. Once she came back with my fries, she said there was a wait on my wings. I asked if she gave my wings away, she said yes-then quickly recanted and states that she dropped them because she slipped, so they are making me more. By the time the waitress came back with my wings, my fries had been gone, and there was buffalo sauce in my (what was supposed to be blue cheese) dipping sauce of ranch. I had to signal for the waitress, as she came to the table asking about checks. I asked about a replacement of sauce since the one I was provided seemed to already have dipping in it, and was not what I ordered-but blue cheese. She proceeded to mention that she did not put the order in. The persons also at the table with me acknowledged the poor service I receiced-in addition made comments of how long it was taking for me do records food, and a drink I ordered due to the long wait. The waitress then tended to a table near three times (I did not count it, the person sitting next to me did). So she asked about checks, and had still forgotten my sauce and dip so that o could finally eat my wings. By this point of waiting over an hour and 20 minutes for bone out wings and a side order of fries, o asked for a to go box. Let me start by saying that I am very much between three or two stars. I went with a friend during lunch, very much mislead by their advertised "two for twenty" deal. You can only pick from four things (excluding oriental chicken salad). So right off the bat we were sour. Our waitress was average, friendly but not day changing. And after grumbling a bit, my friend got the french onion soup and the honey pepper sirloin. I got wings and also a honey pepper sirloin. Drinks came to the table before we could finish our current fills, which is great. However, my friend's french onion soup has turned me to sign up to this site and write this review. French onion soup, for food rookies, has a "lid" of cheese over it. It's aesthetically one of the more appetizing of soups. Applebee's shows this in their menu, it's a beautiful picture. My friend's soup was upsetting, disgusting, and warranted an awkward introvert to talk to a manager. The sides of the actual bowl were crusty, the cheese was all balled up and floating in the middle, and it was room temperature. One bite made her frown, and got me trying it. It seems that the soup was sitting out, in the bowl, far before we arrived. The bread was not pleasing (french onion soup has bread in it), and the onions were the consistency of old chewing gum. My wings, however, were so-so. Generic and not worth the money. At all. Let's get to steaks. They come in a bed of potato wedges, onion rings and jalapenos. The meat was top 3 best cooked steaks my fat butt has ever cut into. Perfect. The honey pepper... stuff... is gross. It was a LOT of honey and pepper with little else. To describe the odd flavor is a bottle of maple syrup poured onto a steak. And it pooled into my plate, fully saturated ALL of my food, and was messy. My friend refused to touch her's after one bite, while I was hungry enough to eat half of my meal. The punch to the mouth was the 32 dollar tab, after complaining about how unenjoyable nearly every leg of our meal was. read more

While parked in this lot and eating inside, my car got broken into, and all stuff stolen - in sheer daylight (early evening). The manager came outside, and offered no condolences or help. He only offered an attitude of "tough luck, what do you want me to do about it." Not pleased at all, obviously because of the incident, but also how this manager treated the situation. Just got yelp. Went here a while ago maybe 2 months haven't been back. Great tasting food. But thats besides the point. I had about $12 on my prepaid card my order was 11 and some change. They declined it and a 2nd card. Luckily I had cash. The other one had about 15. Shitty management service and rude about it. I think their machine is broken.
