The boneless wings were decent and we received a good portion. The fries seemed a bit off this day, but still fine. I ordered a peach tea. Took a couple sips and it was warm. I stirred the ice around a bit and realized there was scum floating in the bottom. I grabbed a server and sent it back. Asked to just have water. She happily brought me a water. Maybe 5 minutes later, some guy brought me a new peach tea and I said I had asked to just switch to water. He said the tea is fine "it's just sediment" I explained again, I don't want the tea, I'm fine with water. It wasn't sediment, it was like strips of goop, but I wasn't going to argue. The waitress then came back and said "they must not have cleaned the nozzle last night" which is more likely the culprit, although I'd guess they might not have cleaned it for more than one night for it to have goop caked on it that would come off in long strands. My wife and I want to be loyal customers to Applebee's, but they can test a person. We show up on a Monday, 9:00ish, and there is not one customer in there. But when we order, the server forgot to tell us about an ingredient that would not be on the dish, said she "forgot to tell us" when we asked after our food arrived. Also suggested "loaded" mashed potatoes without telling us about the upcharge. There was nothing loaded about them, hardly any ingredients added to the normal mashed potatoes. She was good about bringing water and asking how things were, to her credit. I know everyone's pet peeves are different, and what we felt was wrong might be insignificant to others. But we prefer to be told up front if an ingredient is missing and what add-on charges there will be. Still trying to be a loyal customer, but can't handle visits like this one. read more

We have a party of three and to of the plates of food where cold and and one of them was a classic broccoli chicken Alfredo and the chicken was cold all the way though and the Alfredo sauce was turning brown because it was so cold. The slow inattentive service was the shining star of my visit. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp (the thing highlighted on their menu) and a garden side salad. The salad was warm with the cheese on top beginning to melt. The croutons were stale. I got only a little way through and couldn't continue. So my hopes for the entree were high because it is one of their signature dishes. I was once again disappointed. The shrimp didn't taste quite right. I finally gave up on eating anymore there which was probably for the best because I had been without a beverage refill for nearly half of what I did actually eat. Thankfully the waiter came to my table to drop off the bill so I could go elsewhere to get some acceptable food. He still didn't even offer me a refill. Went to enjoy dinner after my daughter's music program on the 7th of November around 7:30. We had a party of five we were sat in the bar area at a high top. There was an other party of five next to of older people the bar tender was tending to them so I thought she seen us. We waited for 15 minutes still no drink order or acknowledgement we were even there. Another party of 2 ladies were sat and attended almost immediately. After watching this my family left and went to the car as I asked to speak with the manager. Once the manager (Aaron Bunch) came out of the back to speak with me he ask how my night was going? I pointed to the table that my family once was sitting and I responded "shitty like the service". He responded "sorry to hear. What can I do to help?" I told him nothing my family was already in car waiting for me I would just like to know the reason for the failed customer service. He started to make excuses of they had some stuff happening. I then told him that's bullshit the bar tender was behind the bar the whole time and changing tv channels and waiting on others that sat down after my family. So there was no good reason or excuse. He then said "I'm going to have to ask you to leave". I responded "we've already left" wake up. So once again another shitty experience at the local Shittybee's. My family and I just had a very disappointing meal at Warrensburg Applebee's. It began when we arrived and found they were not social distancing, we were seated very close to two other families. We were then disappointed when we recived menus to find there has been a huge price jump across the board. We then got out meals and two of us had COLD food. The French fries were cold and stiff, it was throughly unpleasant. The service was slow and it took 13 minutes to get ranch for a salad. Our waitress was nice but very forgetful and seemed very caught up with gossiping to her coworker at the hostess station. While sitting and looking around we were disgusted to see the state if the booth we were sitting in as well as the booths around us, the fabric backs are FILTHY and the glass windows were covered in sticky smudged fingerprints. Not the greatest experience, but it was good. First off, I was seated at a table that wobbled and rocked back and forth. Didn't want to ask to move and be "one of those people" so I tried to enjoy my meal. Waitress was very friendly, helpful, and did an excellent job. Came for refills without me even needing to ask. I tried the Cowboy Burger and was happy with the taste of it but I couldn't believe how small of a burger it was for the price. Almost found myself thinking, is this some kind of child's meal that I was given by mistake? Bacon was crisp and onion strings were good, just not very flavorful. BBQ sauce was unique, but nothing spectacular. Beef was tender and tasted good, but again, much too small for the price. The French fries were crisp but not great, also a very small portion. On the way out three employees had their backs to me and not even one went out of their way to acknowledge me or say a word or reach to open the door. At least someone could have said something.. any acknowledgement would be better than nothing.. Overall, I would eat here again, just not anytime soon.. read more

By far the WORST food experience I ever have had happened here. We saw our waitress a total of two times. Once to bring us drinks (which she never refilled) and once to take our order. She had somebody else deliver our order. The food was cold and not good at all. I believe the coleslaw was expired, I was sick all the following day. There were six people in our party. One of the girls in my group ate a chicken wing off of someone else's plate. The manager came up to them and put his arms around them and touched them in an EXTREMELY inappropriate manner and rudely told them that sharing was not allowed in his restaurant, and he would charge her for her own plate. He then proceeded to bring out a whole new plate (that she did NOT order) and set it in front of her. She politely explained that she would not pay for something she did not order. He said she would. All of us paid for our meals, except for the girl who did not order but was given food anyways, and went to leave. He chased three of the people to their car, but followed the wrong people. He wrote down their license plate number and told them he was calling the police, even though the girl who did not pay was not even a part of the group he was harassing. I went back to pay for the girls meal (that nobody ordered!) so that he would not feel the need to harass anyone anymore and he yelled at me in front of other customers, threatening to report the license plate anyways for parking in the handicapped parking. The girl who parked their has handicapped stickers because of a condition she has that flares us sometimes. He told me that we would get into trouble for this, even though it had nothing to do with me and I was simply trying to do the right thing. Long story short, there are other places in Warrensburg you can go that are not only cheaper, but actually serve you food that wasn't cooked in a microwave AND you will get better customer service. My case isn't the first I have heard this happen either, many of my friends have commented on the managers inappropriateness and the service being rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS APPLEBEES! read more

Very friendly staff. We went on mothers day and they were extremely busy but we didnt have to wait long and we are a family of eight. My kids all got food from the kids me and really enjoyed their food. I ordered a chicken and shrimp meal, I forget what the exact name was. It was very delicious the only thing I could have complained about was the picture showed alot of mushrooms and I love mushrooms and on the plate was alot of onions and I hate onions and hardly any mushrooms.
