My daughter bought me a $35 Amazon gift card from Woodman's for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, the card was accidentally thrown away because it was still inside the envelope. The very next day, when I went to add the gift card to my Amazon account, we realized the envelope was gone. My daughter contacted Woodman's and was told to contact Amazon. Amazon said they could not help without the gift card serial number, which was not printed on the receipt, and told us to go back to Woodman's. I then called Woodman's with the original receipt and asked if they could help locate the serial number or provide any assistance. They refused to help, even after the issue was escalated to the corporate level. Update: After writing the review, someone from Woodman's did help us out. We appreciate the help. If the people at the store and corporate were as nice, I would have given an excellent experience. I enjoy the variety that Woodman's carries. Thank you customer service for caring about me and my family.

Ray drew on his vast experience doing this job to keep costs down without making the wedding feel cheap at all. We just expressed our likes and he handled the rest. Very simple, very personable transaction. The trailer and bartender at the event added to the overall flair. I think more people became friends with the bartender than others who were invited to the wedding. Of course the guy serving the beers has to be your friend right? Prior to the wedding, all of the information was conveyed via phone conversations and when asked about prices directly, only round answers and past figures were provided verbally. Further, it wasn't apparent in any conversations that the company charges you to "rent" their equipment. Last, the cost of having everything piece meal (we paid MSRP for alcohol, but then we were charge for consumables, bar tending, set-up, rental of the equipment, etc.) seemed like a cheaper option, but when considered to the "price per head" model of other vendors, it ended up being more expensive. I would recommend that you consider Valley Liquor for your catering event, but make sure to get a detailed quote in writing prior to the event and that you compare to "price per head" options.
