These guys are FANTASTIC! We bought a beautiful refurbished refrigerator from them that is like new. We were able to get the refrigerator we were looking for for a fraction of the price of a new one. They delivered you our home way out in Marblemount and sent two very nice guys to install and take our old one. These guys really went above and beyond for us. FOUND OUR DREAM OVEN, THEY MET OUR PRICE, THEN DELIVERED & HAULED OUR OLD ONE AWAY. Our old range (stove top + oven) was nearly antique --and not in a cute way-- and when it began leaking gas, she was done. We went to several appliance shops, recycling places, and the "big box" stores, but eventually settled here... My husband found our dream range (pictured): 5 burners w/center griddle & double ovens, top small & bottom regular size convection. Over $1,200 new, she was dinged on the side & near a back burner (but nearly invisible). The shop gave us a discount: originally priced at $1,000, they worked with our budget & came down to $800! A killer deal and best birthday gift I've ever received! Their staff delivered it the very next day. The two workers handled the process quickly and efficiently, plus removed the dead antique. The fit through the door was troublesome though. They were readying to remove our side door, when I luckily thought to measure the front which had ample space, to which one jokingly asked if I'd like a job! Apparently knowing when and how to measure a door is a rare skill these days, (though I'm not surprised). He made me feel special nonetheless, lol. Of course there was no hooking it up at that moment since --being gas-- it requires a tradesman. She was hooked up the next day though and, wow, she is beautiful & cooks beautifully! I had no idea lighting burners could be so seamless & smooth! We will be sure to use this business again and for other appliances! Tips: - When connecting a gas appliance be sure to tighten couplings on the unit itself, not just the hoses you connect to them; we had a tiny leak that came from where the tubing exited the unit housing itself (an easy fix, but check that). - Haggle on price; they'll work around your budget. They brought the cost way down, even on a unit so new it was currently at Lowes/HD for sale. - We always try to shop where we live and keep it local. So if you too can support small, independently-owned businesses like these, it's a huge help to the local economy and tax base. I brought my electrical dryer that has given me issues for a month. I was charged $25 to get it looked at. After 2 weeks the repair guy couldn't figure it out. He said he had been running it but nothing looked wrong. When I brought it home the problems were still there. I don't think I would recommend this place. Maybe they have successfully repaired appliances in the past but not for me. read more

We have bought 2 dryers, 2 washers, a refigerator and a range from the Appliance connection. They have always treated us great in the past. We were in need of a new dryer so of course we bought from them again. We dropped off our old dryer and picked up the used/refurbished dryer on this past Saturday. Once installed in the house we turned on the new one and it sounded fine. Then we left it off and empty as I did other housework. When I returned to the laundry room I had to reach over the dryer to get something and the dryer was extremely hot to the touch. I'm glad we did not leave our home to go anywhere since the dryer was turned off and this was happening?! I called to the shop on Monday morning and spoke with Heidi (the manager). She informed me that we need to unhook the dryer and uninstall, load up and drive it back to the shop so they can run tests there. Also, she said that we could have dropped it during the unloading process and this may have damaged it. Also, that we could have a power issue in our house. As a six year repeat customer of this business, I was apalled at this treatment of loyal repeat customers. She then refused any kind of refund!! We will NEVER shop with them again and I strongly urge all Skagitonians to steer clear of this place as they do not stand behind their product or refurbishing. read more

Have been here in the past, purchased a good refurbished washer/dryer. At that time, excellent service. About 5 years ago. Went in last Saturday, part in hand, with a refrigerator problem. No worker to be seen for 10 minutes, dismissed me immediately as they did not know what the part was. Now, I found that strange, decided to google it. I found the part within 2 minutes, it is a defrost timer. How does an appliance repair place not even know, or care to look, what that part is? I have steadily recommended people to come here in the past, no more. This is the reason small businesses are dying. These folks have been great for us for many years. Remember, they sell USED appliances which will perhaps have a shorter life span than a new one and will have wear and tear on them. If pride of looks is important to you, then look their products over carefully. There will be dings and dents which they generally address with paint and so forth. Don't buy anything sight unseen (from anyone!). But for the money, they offer a great buy. We've never had a problem with performance or the people there. In fact, they have been very helpful. Everyone / business has bad days so be patient with them. They are not crooks or incompetent...just busy trying to help folks. We've bought two stoves in the last 10 years here. read more

We are now on our 3rd set of washer/dryer and we still do not have a dryer that dries the clothes properly and the washer squeals when it is spinning. When we called about this third set, we were told that the 90 warranty only applies from the first delivery and we would be charged $75 for a service call. We thought the 90 warranty was on each machine from the time of installation. The first 2 sets had many issues and they reluctantly replaced them. The sets we have had are not even close to new as we had been led to believe...basically scratch & dent but great products. So, we are now stuck with appliances that drive us crazy with the noise and cost extra electricity to get to our clothes dry. Now, we mean a medium load of regular clothes, wash & wear, that should dry in a normal amount of time. So, BUYER BEWARE, when dealing with this company. read more

Perhaps one of the worst retail experiences I've ever had....it's been 35 days since I ordered and paid for a clothes dryer and I still don't have it. The first time they tried to deliver it (only 23 days after I ordered and paid for it), they only sent one guy with the expectation that this middle-aged guy would help get it installed AND without the stacking kit required. We finally worked out the kit situation and set up another delivery date...33 days after I ordered and paid for it. Of course, they never called, they never showed, tho when I called THEM to check on it, I was assured it would be delivered. Messages aren't returned. They change the story quite often....should it be my problem when a delivery guy gets sick? I'm understanding, but come on! Anyway, short story long...I've filed a complaintwith the Attorney General and I hope to someday get my dryer. It's a great price but, sadly, you get what you pay for. read more

I had a gas stove that I needed to get rid of so I went to a local business, Appliance Connection and paid to have it picked up. I told them what days I was available. I missed a phone call from them and was told I could reschedule, that the stove would be picked up on Monday. After waiting around my house most of the day Monday I called the store and found out that nobody picks up on Monday and I had been given misinformation. I was assured that the appliance would be picked up by 1 on Tuesday and that I would be hearing from somebody between 9 and 10 with an hour window for a pickup time. I got a call at noon from the driver and he told me I'd be his first stop. I called the driver as no one had showed up by 1:15 and was told "oh that's going to be much later today someone was supposed to call you." I let him know that I had been guaranteed it would be picked up by 1. He was then suddenly able to change his schedule and had it picked up within 15 minutes. I went with the local business because if I was going to have to pay to have this stove hauled away I knew it would be great for somebody to refurbish and sell, so I chose to help out a local Merchant. The woman I dealt with in the store with the original transaction and on Monday was wonderful and very helpful. I don't know anything about this business as far as sales, I didn't deal with that. They definitely need to do something about their pickup situation since it seems disorganized at the very least. If I had it to do over again, I'd sell it to one of those 1 800 junk people. read more

On October 12, 2016 me and my spouse went to appliance connection and more to purchase a used washer and dryer. After a few minutes we were greeted by the store"manager" Bobby. We Let him Know we were interested in purchasing the whirlpool duet set. He let us know the owner wasn't in and that we would need to wait til he returned to see if we would be approved for financing. 5 minutes or so passed and he then said his manager would walk him through the finance process. After 40 minutes of him being walked through the process then me and my husband going over the agreement correcting Bobby's spelling errors bobby let us know were were approved for $ 500.00 Finance "loan". The whole amount would add up to $774.10. We Were asked to pay $274.10 and we would finance the rest. This included a fee of $ 85.00 for delivery of the washer and dryer set up for Saturday The October 15 between the hours of 9-10 Am. we agreed and filled out all paper work Bobby Said The boss would need to come in to finalize the paper work and print everything and they would give us a copy upon deliver. I wasn't worried because we docu signed the agreement on my phone and saved it. We left the store without a printed or finalized copy of the agreement. When Saturday came the company didn't call. I contacted the company around 11 AM asking when they could deliver The store manager Bobby let me know they couldn't deliver due them being down one employee and there could possibly be a bad storm. I asked if we could come pick up the items & be reimbursed delivery fee. i badly needed to wash clothes and was very understanding that they were down an employee. He said he would need to contact the owner and ask. An hour passed and he said the owner would revise the agreement and he wouldn't be in until after 1:00 to revise finance or give us cash. He instructed us come around 1:30 we agreed as we were we leaving to go pick up our washer and dryer the manager Bobby called and said i have bad news the third party didn't approve your loan for $ 500.00. Your finance has been cancelled. i said wow really?! knowing I saved everything to my phone and had a 13 page agreement saying we were approved. i said okay can you just refund the $ 274.10 we paid? he said no, we could only use it as store credit. i said no the agreement was voided due to us not being approved. please have owner contact me Bobby please i don't wish to speak with you id like to go up the chain of command. He assured me the owner would inform me of the same saying its stores policy. I said no because the whole agreement is attached to the finance agreement . Bobby called me two more times after i asked to speak to the owner. when i finally spoke to the owner and was explaining to him what happened he cut me off and was being rude . he spoke to me as if i was a little girl as if he had no respect because he already had my money. I was so emotional being pregnant and all so i ended the call with him. The employees need some serious customer service classes and need to be more flexible with customers. They seem to only care about making money. I had such a bad experience i wouldn't want to buy a thing from them. read more
