I was in need of a new over the range microwave. I decided that I was going to give Appliance Discounters a look. I am glad I did. Went to the South County location. The staff were busy helping others so I started to just look around. I was acknowledged and told that I would be assisted as soon as possible. While looking around I could hear the conversation being had with one of the other customers. They were sharing with the sales person how they have purchased from AD several times and that they were now in the process of building their retirement home. It was their intentions to furnish it with appliances from AD. This provided me with a bit of further comfort that purchasing from AD would be a good decision. When that other customer was finished, I was greeted by the salesperson. They showed me what they had in stock and told me what delivery times would be for each. Questions that I asked were answered and when an answer was unknown, they were happy to look it up. Their store prices are electronically scanning the competition to help insure you get the best price. They were also much better in pricing for delivery, install, and removal. I made my purchase. As promised the microwave was installed about a week and a half later. The installer was super friendly and professional. He unboxed the microwave and ensured there was no shipping damages that could be seen. He removed the old unit and installed the new one. He the tested it to make sure it was worked, cleaned up and left. Was done in about 30min. Very happy this far with the purchase, happy to support a local business, and very happy with the total experience. Look forward to doing business with them again in the future. read more

Scooter helped us pick out our kitchen appliances. He was very knowledgeable & pleasant to work with. James Coleman from Adept Installation did an excellent job installing the new Bosch dishwasher. Pulling out the old dishwasher was a booger but James was calm & reassuring that it would work. Thought he may have to bust a couple of tiles out due to the way the tile installer tiled around the dishwasher. James was able to cut the old one out & get the new one in without any damage to the tile. Very pleased with his work! Also want to throw out cudos to Jim with JMJ Appliance Installation, Inc. They were responsible for installing my new double wall oven. That was a nightmare but they too were calm & assured me though it was more work than they were prepared to do, they took care of it and my oven is installed & looks great! What a great experience from the purchase though the install. As we were purchasing our dishwasher, I mentioned that it may be difficult getting the old dishwasher out. The sales person response was "our installers are very good". How right he was about that! James was our installer and couldn't have been better. James mentioned that the installers specialize in the appliances they install. As a result there aren't many situations he hasn't experienced before. He made sure the install was perfect and took the time give my wife and me a brief lesson on the functions, cleaned everything up and hauled away the old dishwasher. He was on-time, very easy to speak with, and told us exactly what he needed to do during the install. I gave this purchase 5 stars and would have given it six if I could have, since we were that pleased. read more

We recently built a new house and shopped appliances at numerous locations including national chains, local appliance centers, and high end options. Without a doubt we found the best deal at Appliance Discounters. They carry many options from opening price point items to high end options as well. We bought all nine items, dishwasher, ice maker, refrigerator, washer and dryer, wine cooker, two ovens, and freezer from AD and have been completely satisfied! We ran in to an issue with the refrigerator and Jim the manager did an excellent job of standing behind their sale even though we experienced a less than great experience with the major national brand of refrigerator. We purchased a new house recently and have had to make a few surprise appliance purchase since then. Without hesitation, we go to Appliance Discounters each time. The store staff members are helpful, knowledgeable and swift (you won't have to spend half a day making a refrigerator purchase). They really do what they can to get you the best prices on your purchases, as well, by comparing with area retailers and if you find a lower price, they will honor it. The installation staff, as well, are courteous and helpful. John and Dan, just last weekend, installed our dishwasher and showed us how to use it in record time. I had a wonderful experience with this company when looking to purchase a new stove. The salesman (Brian) was very helpful and recommended a better stove at a lower price than the one I was looking at. He was very responsive to all of my questions. When the stove was delivered the guys that brought it were extremely professional. They used a floor covering to protect my floors. They made sure the stove was level and turned on all of the burners and oven to make sure it all worked before they left the house. I just bought a large stove from them and had to have my old 72 inch restaurant size stove removed. These guys were amazing. They came out and assessed the take out, they made it look so easy. They were hard working, very friendly and left no mess behind. When they came to install the new stove again they were remarkable. We had a problem with the electric outlet but they took care of it, again meticulously and with no mess.The-takeout and installation was by Adept Installation. Our Kenmore Elite dishwasher "died" on Christmas Eve. We went to Appliance Discounters on December 26 and bought a Bosch dishwasher which was highly recommended. The dishwasher was installed the very next morning by Adept installation (recommended by Appliance Discounters) and the new dishwasher was ready to use an hour and a half later.
